Tastefully decorated and fully furnished spacious room is in pristine condition. The area is safe and quiet and ample space for parking. The accommodation is very close (3 mins drive, 15 mins walk) to the village Blarney' square with foods, shops, pub, etc. Easy to get to Cork, during our stay we also visited Kilmarney National Park, Kinsale and Old Head cliffs, which are around or under 1 hour drive.

The only thing (didn't affect our stay, only to mention as a "cherry on top of thr cake"), - the room comes with beautiful solid wood furniture, if the kettle could be stainless steel rather than white plastic (shows sign of use around the body as well as the heating elements, etc), that will really match perfectly and makes the experience even better.

David and Margaret are the ideal hosts: there if you need them. David was very helpful with directions regarding driving through Cork City. We needed a very peaceful and quiet place to stay, and Davmar house was ideal. Great location, very close to Blarney, and about 20 min to half hour away from Cork City (depending on traffic). Love the concept of a separate "tea room"! Also our bed was so comfy. I don't have any hesitation in recommending Davmar House to fellow travelers.

Davmar House was a comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood for our one night stay in the Cork area. The house is farther from Cork than I realized, but it was still an easy drive into Cork. The room was spacious and clean. There was a hot pot for tea and coffee and biscuits for each of us. David was a welcoming and friendly host. He replied promptly to our messages and provided clear directions. Thank you for a nice stay in Blarney/Cork.

A nice clean no fuss accommodation. A very cheerful hardworking host . Very alert and helpful. The added facility of a kitchen/ lounge which guests can use to warm up and have a meal or rustle up breakfast was very useful Margaret also recommended an excellent option to go have dinner at . The property itself is room only with no breakfast offered or available near by The location is up a hill with a steep walk back from village. So convenient only if coming by self drive car

The location was good. I needed a place close to the Woollen Mill. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The private bath was clean and the water was hot. After traveling throughout Europe for a month, it was nice to have a soft bed. I would stay here again.

Maybe some advertisements for local food take out places, so one would know who to call for take out. Also, a map of the town available so one could find the businesses.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at. The accommodations were very nice. Margaret and David are wonderful hosts and gave us information about the surrounding area. We would highly recommend this unique place for an overnight visit or an extended stay and we would definitely like to visit them again.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful! The room was great: the bed was comfy, and the room was a great size. This was also a great location with lots of food options around and not far from the bus stop that can take you to Cork.

We did not have breakfast, a pot of real coffee rather than instant in the morning would’ve been nice. Staff made themselves scarce when it came to helping with luggage.

The room was great. The shower and towels were the best we have had. Bed very comfortable. Margaret was very hospitable.
