We loved staying here! We wish we had more time here. We checked in late at night, and enjoyed the Friday night music until the pub closed (then just being able to walk upstairs to go to bed was great). All the staff were lovely, and the full Irish breakfast the next morning was a highlight too (definitely worth paying for).

My room was situated at the front of the Muskerry Arms & overlooked the square in Blarney, it was very clean & had tea making facilities. The bed was both comfortable & spacious for two, the wardrobe & side cabin had sufficient space for both sharing & the room was advertised as suitable for a disabled user. The bathroom requires a little more thought with regards to disability usage, as the space near the toilet & shower would require better hand rails & support rails for those wishing to independently vacate a wheelchair, this would also require a shower chair as the splash screen is tight for a wheelchair to occupy & can lead to access water covering the tiled floor causing it to become slippery as the shower curtain is poorly fitted as gaps let water through. You may wish to ask the manager or premises where the chair lift is located before booking as the room is on the first floor.
The windows have double sound screens to avoid any noise entering from outside, but as the pub closes most nights at 1am & reopens again at 7.30am in the morning, make sure the screen is fully closed as sleep disruption can be caused if the external window is left slightly open for fresh air. A better air vent could be considered in the bathroom as after using the shower the room fills with condensation & makes the floor extremely wet & slippery.

We were looking for the quintessential small town Irish pub and inn to stay at to complete our experience in Ireland and this is it. The staff is amazing, the room is comfortable (with the exception of the very small shower), the pub is perfect and the food is delicious. If you don't have a car, the bus stop is right outside. Just an FYI, it is an old building, so don't expect an elevator. You will have to walk up one or two flights of stairs to get to you room. But don't worry, the staff carries your luggage up for you. Also, you check in for your room at the bar! Have a pint while your at it! We highly recommend Muskerry Arms!
The small shower.

Basically everything. It's a very unique pub and B&B. The pub is downstairs and the rooms are upstairs. No music in that pub. I had a big room with double bed, 2 night tables, a desk with a mirror, a round table with mugs, kettle, milk, tea and instant coffee. The room had an humidifier, iron board ,tv. The bathroom was big., with all the new, fancy stuff. They changed the towels and they cleaned up the room daily. The breakfast was very good with big portions. All the employees were very helpful and polite. Check in/check out was very easy.. The bus stop is right outside the pub on the right. 10 seconds walk. The bus schedule is posted at the bottom of the bus route. Very quiet neighborhood.

Extremely clean and comfortable rooms that -- even though above a pub -- are very quiet and peaceful. There is little to zero pub noise heard upstairs in the rooms. The pub is large and has very good food, fairly decent prices. Servers ranged from good to excellent. No complaints Excellent location near Blarney Castle, as well as the Woolen Mills. Fully-stocked varity store right next to the Inn with "Off License" section -- you can buy anything you need/ want. Would definitely stay again.
Parking is somewhat awkward if you don't manage a spot on the street right in front of the Inn, and those spots are rare if the pub/ restaurant is open and operating. It's a bit of a walk up a steep hill towards the back of the property. Lots of parking there, but some may not be able to manage luggage etc. up and down the steep incline. This can be remedied by dropping bags and people off prior to parking. Not a huge issue but a bit of an annoyance.

The food, drinks, and staff were wonderful. Not to mention the excellent location in the darling town of Blarney! Just a few blocks from Blarney Castle. Blarney also has some shops, restaurants, and another pub hotel very close. Breakfast was fantastic also! Clean, simple rooms with nice bathrooms and great beds. The staff was eager to help with anything. The prices for lodging, food and drinks were all very good!
There was live music both nights, but not Irish music. And the bar got pretty crowded and a little smoky (no smoking inside, but people stood outside the door and smoked, and it blew in).

Honestly, this was the best stay of my entire trip. The room itself was clean, modern, and spacious-even better than I thought it would be. Price was a stellar bargain compared to Cork, and I enjoyed the quieter smaller town of Blarney. The staff were friendly & professional, and throughout my stay I witnessed them frequently going above and beyond. I checked both “lively” and “quiet” because even though the bar was bustling, the room itself was cozy and quiet. I can’t stop thinking about those pillows- and if anyone there has time, please let me know where I can get some for myself 😁
It was beyond my expectations, liked it all!

Gary lovely chap on arrival. Gave us nice welcome and informative info. Location great for access to blarney Castle and grounds. Ample parking at rear of property. Lovely atmosphere, lovely food, very nice room. Staff very friendly. The full irish breakfast was amazing. The decorator was very nice in the dining area.
Our room had flickering lights, which was a little strange. Room a little hot and no way to reduce the temperature. Morning deliveries outside woke us up early as we had window open to cool down. Think would opt for a rear room if we return.

Location is awesome especially if you are going to be visiting Blarney Castle. Live music in the pub below just not when we stayed. The food was pretty good. We ate dinner in the pub, but we did not eat breakfast.
The room/bedding needed a good airing out. It seemed a bit dusty and triggered my allergies. The outlets near the beds were a pain to access to charge our devices. There was a neon sign right outside our window being powered by an outlet inside our room, and the light bleed from it was a bit annoying when we were trying to fall asleep.

Firstly the location is right in the centre of Blarney, so ideal for walking to the castle or the woollen mill. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and a hot powerful shower, we were on the second floor which was very quiet at night even if the bar was still open and as it was warm we had the window open all night. The bar is busy but still found seats every night, it’s a great friendly place to spend the evenings and when we were there had live music on 3 nights. There is also a garden area which is also very pleasant on a warm evening. However, what really makes this place stand out is all the staff, every single one ( and there are a lot) work incredibly hard to make sure you are looked after, I have never met such a group of people so genuinely driven to make you feel welcome, we all felt like we were friends when we left. If only every bar/B&B/ hotel was like this one, keep up the great work, we will be back.
I would not change anything
