Location was great for the city. We walked to Elizabeth keys for coffee.

I arrived and put the cases on the trolley. I struggled getting the trolley through door on my own as hubby parked the car. Bit disappointed in this as it left a bad taste in my mouth particularly since there were valets on the driveway. I felt that because we didn't want valet parking, we were left to do things ourselves. This was the only disappointment. Fibreglass grill was nice service amazing, my beefcheeks sadly I've had better on a pub menu. Hubbys steak was good but not award winning ilike the restaurant claimed!

Bed was comfortable. Staff was amazing .Reception and management, restaurant staff were all amazing very good customer service . Dinner was absolutely delicious .Room was very clean and beautiful. Valet staff very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and can not wait to return to stay another night or 2 to enjoy more wonderful service we received and enjoy the comforts of all the hotel facilities . 😊

Comfortable, clean and helpful staff Great location

Breakfast buffet most foods were very nice but the hot breakfast wasn't hot. Not liking the fact to have a flat white etc you have to pay extra! The room service has a QR CODE to be able to order didn't work properly had to ring and order from the restaurant

We have stayed here before and hotel is excellent, this time our room was on 12th floor, not a view over the river, but lovely view over the city. Not sure if some rooms have been modernized, but ours seemed much more modern than the rooms we have previously stayed in, comfy bed, with a lovely modern bathroom

When we checked in we asked for breakfast on the Sunday morning, so they gave us a voucher for a $35.00 Buffet breakfast, when we arrived for breakfast on the Sunday morning, were told that the voucher did not apply on Saturdays and Sundays, and breakfast was $48.00. Also found that some of the cooked items were not overly hot, and when I went to get some bacon, it was all gone, when I enquired, they said they were cooking some more, but my plate was already with other items

Jnr Club Room (with a river view) was clean and comfortable; room amenities were good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The included Buffett breakfast was OK; always go for the freshly cooked eggs

Upon check-in, the room rate as shown by the hotel was more that what was on Booking.com (apprx $48extra per night). Apparently, the hotel had a new booking system installed, and there were a few glitches, in that the Booking.com rate hadn't come across to the new system. It was all sorted after about 10mins (after providing them with screenshots from my booking.com profile). Make sure you double check what you had booked via Booking.com, and it matches the hotel

We were upgraded to a club room with river views

We were given conflicting advice from reception staff regarding what we were entitled to being in a club room. Initially we were told we had access to the club lounge for canapes and drinks and the room upgrade included full buffet breakfast. However visiting the club lounge, we were denied access; we returned to reception to be told the club room and breakfast were not included. As you can imagine this was frustrating, however we could not fault the facilities. The upgrade to the Club King room was a wonderful gesture by the Duxton staff.

The hotel was quite luxurious. The room was big and very clean. The bed was a little hard for us - but all good. There was a pillow menu, which was great! Staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was part of our package which made our rate of just over $300 p/n so affordable considering breakfast is $48pp if paying at the hotel. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night so that rate is very good for a hotel in the heart of a major city. The breakfast was wonderful, everything you could want plus an egg station. The room service menu was good too - a nice variety of food. Overall a great stay!

Absolutely everything! Teresa and Yukie at check in were absolutely amazing, so welcoming and friendly, providing me with a map of the city and information how to get places. We were so pleased with the beautiful Jr Club room that we were upgraded to, and there was even a lovely card and wine for us to celebrate our 11th anniversary. The bed was so comfortable and there were options for pillows as well! Mini fridge and coffee machine were a necessity for us! Roshan (spelling?) greeted us every morning at the restaurant and was also so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was DELICIOUS! Buffet breakfast with a large variety of food, and we also enjoyed room service. I'm Melbourne based, but if I have the chance to make it back to Perth, I will absolutely be booking another room at the Duxton. Highly recommend!

Would have liked an exhaust fan in the bathroom so the mirror didn't fog up as much, but that's all! I'm nitpicking!

We have always enjoyed staying at the Duxton it has always been one of our favorite places to stay.

How ever this time as is the same everywhere we noticed the big rise in the prices. One this we did not appreciate and actually we were disgusted we having to pay an extra fee when we used out visa debit card to pay for our drinks at the bar!! The hotel is obviously under new management as we have never had to pay this extra fee before and as such, we will not be booking another room at the Duxton any time soon! Also, the increase in the valet parking was $25 more than the last time we stayed at the Duxton was a little hard to swallow given that the concierge service is now not any were near a good as it used to be!
