It was clean and great service

When doing a search it said that it was pet friendly under the search but then when getting there there were no pets allowed. We had a very small dog with us and they would not allow it to stay under no circumstances. He said that he is aware booking.com allows this in its search and has happened before but it’s basically not their problem and we should have called ahead. Just lucky we had someone else to take him. I understand rules but in the same sense if you are aware of the problem either fix it or have a reasonable allowance. They did accommodate a room close to the front door and all other requests making it a great stay.

It was SO easy to get checked in that I thought something went wrong. It didn't and it was quite refreshing. The staff were awesomeness, quick, understanding of us being on the road all day and needing to just get into our room with no hassle, directed us to the best place to park and enter. The room was immaculate, we ordered a suite which consisted of 2 Queen sized beds and a pullout sofa which is what we needed for the 5 of us. On top of that, the room was still incredibly spacious. The beds were a dream, I can't recall the last time I've had a mattress (aside from my own) where I have just passed out and not woken up sore or stiff or unrested. When available, I will 100% choose this Hotel for all future stayings, especially after the fiasco we had elsewhere on our way home.

This hotel was in a pretty good location for the Agawa Tour Train. A mall was just across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a shower/bath combination. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant, located on the main floor of the hotel, was very good so we had two dinners there. It was also the location for the free breakfast. This was really good with a couple of hot choices as well as a cereals, yogourt, etc. The staff looking after the breakfast kept items regularly replenished, there was plenty of room to sit and the rush was handled very well. Overall a great stay!

Both afternoon and morning staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean 👌.

The coffee maker was inside a small cabinet and plugged. There's no space to lift the lid to refill the water. Also, when I unplugged and took it out, it was too dirty, so I cleaned it before using it. Please check the creamer. It looks old/expired. Good thing that I always have my own tea and coffee. Thank you.

The accommodations made each visit, sometimes I myself forget but when I arrive I realize, wow I did require for example extra towels and arriving to such accommodations made makes the visit even more heartwarming, kinda like returning home after a long trip and realizing yeah I do enjoy the comfort of your favourite go to towel or blanket at home

Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I liked that there was a pool. It was a nice walk to the train statiion we took the Algoma train ride) and we didn't have to worry about driving and parking there. It was also a lovely walk to the museum at the Sault locks.

The pool was actuall too warm! I had to stop swimming to cool off. Can't think of any other concerns.

Breakfast was alright at the later arrival. On a longer stay the selection is repeatative If expecting to get breakfast early while the Agawa train tour guests are also scrambling to get theirs was pretty caotic.

The weather turned bad during our planned trip, so stay was cut short. Can't predict Mother Nature. One elevator was down during the long weekend which was not an ideal situation, but we are fit and endured the four flight up and down with no problem.

The room was great. Very clean. Room was very soundproof…no disturbances from other occupied rooms.

The clerk at the front desk was not welcoming. She assigned us a room that was difficult to locate due to the fact there were no signs on the hotel wall to indicate the room was around the corner. We had to go back down to the front desk and ask the same clerk for assistance. She was not the least apologetic or sympathetic that we were experiencing some problems. We tried to explain to her why we had difficulty and she just kept repeating “the room is around the corner”. Guest Parking was very limited and it was difficult for us to find a space somewhat close to the hotel entrance.

I loved how friendly the staff was. Our room was clean and we got the special instructions we requested, the bed was comfortable and we loved the kitchenette

The pool was down all weekend, the restaurant was closed. A little disappointed that we paid for 5 star and didn't get it. One more lamp or a little more lighting would have made the room perfect

Breakfast was typical continental, but was just fine. Lots of options, good coffee, nice dining room. Rooms were very clean, and staff was very friendly.

The hotel and the rooms were very clean. Staff, especially cleaning staff, were very friendly. There were a number of "out of order" signs in use -- front door, ice machines, exercise equipment, hot tub, etc. Too bad those weren't being maintained as well as the rest of the hotel.
