This is a stand-out hotel, in a quiet location, near the river and a beautiful park. It’s easy to get into the city centre by tram, which is regular and reliable. Our room had a huge bed, which was unbelievably comfortable. The pool and garden area are a great addition and a place to relax and chill out. I’d happily return.

Only a minor point, but I would have liked some granola in the breakfast choices.

We truly enjoyed our 8-day stay here. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was delicious. You can order scrambled eggs and pancakes, which I really appreciated because it helps reduce food waste. Every morning, the staff personally asked if we would like to have coffee, which made breakfast feel extra warm and welcoming. The property has a beautiful garden with a lovely swimming pool, which made our stay even more relaxing. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The ladies at the reception did everything they could to make us feel welcome. When we arrived, we were given a short tour, and we could always go to them with any questions. We also had dinner here one evening and it was a lovely experience: tasty food, good wine, and it was fun to have a quick chat with the chef. He is clearly passionate about his work and makes the most amazing gelato. For anyone planning a longer stay in Florence, this is a great place to stay. The city center is about a 30-minute walk, but you can also use public transport or the free bikes. There is also a secure parking garage just a few minutes’ walk away for an additional fee. We had a fantastic time here and would recommend this place to everyone!

The beds were slightly firmer than we are used to, but this is of course a matter of personal preference.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most incredible stay at Riva Lofts. The property is absolutely beautiful – stylish, peaceful, and set right on the banks of the Arno. It feels like a calm oasis away from the busy city, yet still close enough to walk, bike, or take a quick tram ride into the heart of Florence. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The garden and pool area were stunning, the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with fresh options and the chance to enjoy it outside in the lovely courtyard. We also enjoyed dinner at Riva Kitchens during our stay, and it was truly five-star, the food was excellent, and the staff were so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Riva Lofts is truly a special place, tranquil and stylish, and couldn’t recommend it more highly

Wonderful four night stay at this great hotel just off the centre of Florence but within easy reach of the centre. Very relaxed with professional, attentive and friendly service by all the staff at the hotel. The garden and pool area is perfect for winding down following the sightseeing of this amazing city. Great breakfast, and I would certainly recommend the restaurant for both a light lunch and an excellent dinner. The river and park walks close by added to our relaxed stay! We are looking forward to visiting again next year, really wonderful hotel!

Nothing not to like!

The property is absolutely stunning, the design aesthetic is incredible. We loved hanging out in the restaurant by the fireplace & in the garden by the pool. They gave us an upgrade for our loft so we had extra space for our baby, which was so thoughtful. They’d set up a cot & put in a nappy bin too. All the staff are super friendly and so helpful. Overall experience was really excellent and we’d definitely stay again!

It’s a 30 min walk into central Florence, but you can mostly walk along the river which is lovely. Just have to plan your day accordingly, or jump in cabs to save your feet!

Walkable location for the historic centre, next to the river. Very nice breakfast/dinner. Food was fabulous. Restaurant beautifully designed. Very helpful staff at reception.

The property could do with some maintenance. We were upgraded to a suite, which unfortunately had some issues. No outside aspect from the sitting area, two hard chairs to sit on to watch TV (no sofa), extractor needed updating in the bathroom as it felt damp in there. There was a balcony from the bedroom upstairs but this needed a good clean. Cushions and rug had been left outside which were sodden for the whole time we were there. Entrance lobby to the studios was damp - walls were wet. A lot of these issues can be rectified with some maintenance work. It would be a fabulous place to stay otherwise.

Excellent stay at Riva Lofts. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely gardens and pool to relax in. Private garage available if you travel with a car. Close to tram station so was in the heart of the city in a matter of minutes. Room was spacious and clean. The biggest surprise was the excellent restaurant on site and the food was fantastic. Good breakfast with lots of choices. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Florence.

Nothing - could not fault or stay

The atmosphere was wonderful. The receptionist was very welcoming & really assisted us during our stay. Fei was wonderful with her artful and therapeutic massage. The breakfast room was stunning.

It was raining and cold on the day of my massage. I was disappointed that there was no heated blanket or small space heater for my massage. A clear plastic curtain can easily be hung over the existing drapes to insulate the area for the massage to make the space warmer plus if a space heater was used, my experience would have been so much better. I was disappointed in the area that Fei must work during bad weather days.

A wonderful location close to the city centre, but away from the hustle and bustle, right on the banks of the Arno. A very comfortable room with everything we needed, and lovely big outdoor area with lots of seating areas and a beautiful pool. Breakfast was also very good, with the option to sit inside or out. The staff were very pleasant and helpful - we had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to return.

Great little apartment / really nice selection at breakfast and served in a gorgeous room. The space was bright and airy. Shame our apartment was facing the main thoroughfare as we didn't feel comfortable having the light on in the bathroom when getting showered etc. There could also be more plugs in the kitchen; eg. if you want to use the kettle, you have to unplug something else!

As mentioned above, not having enough privacy when using the bathroom with the light on. Not enough plugs in the kitchen area. The mattress was a bit hard but not unacceptable. Use of a washing machine would be a plus but I appreciate that this is not essential to it being good accommodation. The location is very close to a well know 'drug avenue' so be aware!
