Excellent hotel in Florence! The location is great – in the embassy district, which feels very safe and comfortable for walking around, and only about 10–15 minutes from the historic center (Santa Maria del Fiore). The hotel itself is stylish and beautifully designed – I especially liked the color scheme of the interiors. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop terrace, which is a lovely bonus. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of tasty options, and there’s also a bar available. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Our room was very comfortable. Normally I don’t like climate control systems because they work too strongly, but here the temperature was perfectly balanced. The bathroom was spotless, and the guest cosmetics were of great quality. Overall, a fantastic combination of quality, location, and price. Highly recommend this hotel!

I have no words to describe the hospitality of this boutique hotel, amazing! So many nice small details in the room each day, from a small mat on each side of the bed before night followed by a small good night card and candies, new towels a few times a day, great scent of the room and the hall. We had a lovely 2 nights here and will be back for sure! A big plus for a reliable valet parking. They conveniently let you park your car in front of the hotel and call guys from the garage to pick it up and drive away to the garage, and when you need it again just let them now 40ish minutes before and the car awaits you in front!

Everything was top-notch and luxuriously furnished with an architectural touch. I love the design and functionality of the room, bathroom, and overall decor. The staff are amazing and attentive. Breakfast was a fantastic spread in the living room with a view too. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy the roof top... But would definitely return to check it out. BTW, the location is the best Florentine experience being next to the river Arno. It is a very safe area being next to the consulates. We were delighted with Valentina's help in mapping out a plan to maximise our one day stay in this Romantic city. Thanks for the practical help of Giovanni and the generous late check out too.

The location is required to taxi in and out. But it is worth the effort

We only stayed one night however, lovely situation by the river, our ‘small double’ was a reasonable size looking out over the river. There was tea and coffee making facilities however there was no milk. There was a fudge with some refreshments in at an additional cost. The bed was comfortable. The shower room really nice with a very powerful shower. Breakfast was very good, cereals, meats, cheeses, croissants, bread, fruit salad, hot and cold drinks plus you can order a small selection of hot food, eggs, bacon etc. About 15-20 minutes amble along the river to the main hub of Florence.

No milk supplied for in room drinks. Personal choice I know but 1 pillow was too low and 2 pillows were too high for me. Bed and linen lovely though.

Conveniently located about 15 mins drive from the airport, the 4F has very professional and friendly staff. Perfect for solo traveller. The area is quiet and restful after a long day of sightseeing with no safety concerns. Gorgeous sunsets and a relaxing view across the Arno river. The staff assistance with booking taxis was really appreciated, though language did not appear to be a major issue during my visit. Most people spoke or understood English. I really have nothing to fault with the service I received. I have no problem recommending this hotel.

Not a dislike, but maybe consider offering a light supper in the evening in the lounge for those customers who return too tired to venture out again 😊

Some rooms even offer stunning views of the Arno River, providing the perfect setting to enjoy Florence’s breathtaking sunsets. The location couldn’t be better—it’s right on the lungarno and just a few minutes’ walk from Ponte Vecchio, making it the ideal base for exploring the city. 4F Boutique Hotel has become our go-to choice in Florence, and we can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exceptional experience in this beautiful city!

Staff at the hotel were exceptional, particularly the housekeeper who didn't just clean our room, but also tidied it for us. we even had a turn down service where slippers were laid out and sweets placed on our pillows! the location is fantastic, just outside the hustle and bustle. room was well decorated with lovely facilities.

Breakfast was good, but not as good as the rest of the facilities. the service was excellent though. it was just the cooked element that needs some improvement. also unloading and loading our car was hard due to the hotel being located near the US consolate.

This is a very cool small boutique hotel located on the 4th floor of a 19th century building on the Lungarno in Florence, near the American Consulate. So, it is not strictly speaking in the historic center of town, but very convenient to the railway station and about 10/15 minutes from the historic center with a very pleasant walk along the river. My room was spacious and nicely decorated, staff was extremely courteous, and breakfast excellent. It is the best hotel I've ever stayed in Florence: elegant and quiet.

The bathroom was on the small side, but it was ok for me.

Just a weird quirk which I’ve never experienced before in a hotel - when leaving the hotel you are requested to leave the key with the reception staff (not sure of how or why). This doesn’t apply if you plan on returning after 11pm (but this was odd to me - and caused a little stress as you couldn’t be as flexible if your day took an unexpected turn of events and you left your key and had to return after 11pm) No TV in the room - not a dislike per se, but sometimes it’s good to have.

There were so many things that my husband and I loved about the hotel: Location: it was approx 15 minutes from the tourist attractions and the train station (SMN). We were doing a few daytrips so this was perfect. We did not have to take a cab or metro anywhere. We just walked. We also preferred to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. The walk back to the hotel was perfect along the Arno or through the cute neighbourhood. It is also a very safe area as it appears to be close to Embassy Row so there is much security. Very very quiet. Couldn't have asked for a better location. This is a boutique hotel so there are only 14 rooms. Staff and breakfast: Very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent with a selection of fresh fruit, cheese, meats, bread, croissants. There is also an a la carte menu where you can choose from freshly prepared omlettes, pancakes etc. This breakfast is included in the hotel rate. We stayed in the deluxe junior suite with a view of the river. It was terrific waking up to the sun and a view of the river and the bridges of Florence. We will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in beautiful Florence again. Patricia and David, Toronto Canada
