The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean modern and very spacious! Exactly as shown in the pictures.

The location wasn’t as close as we had hoped, being a good 25 minute walk to the heart of Florence and most of the attractions. This isn’t a deal breaker as the walk along the water with beautiful bridges and views to take in was lovely..

The rooms were exceptionally clean, as was the whole hotel. The spa access included with the room was an added bonus as after a long day of walking around Florence - it was great to be able to relax in the spa! The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t have asked for any more.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel.

Very elegant, it felt like a five star hotel. The hotel staff were amazing. The reception team had great suggestions for restaurants and were able to make reservations, even when restaurants were busy and not taking additional bookings. The breakfast is lovely and the staff very friendly and attentive. An excellent hotel if you are visiting Florence, I doubt you could get better value from a hotel. It is a 15min walk from the centre, but there is a tram stop immediately outside the hotel and trams run every 5-8 minutes. Which is helpful after a day of walking around Florence. Piazza Santa Maria Novello is close by and is a great location for some fabulous restaurants like Sabatini or The Place. If you do stay at the hotel you must visit the Officiana Profumo Farmaceutica, also close by and is a wonderful perfumer founded by Dominican monks in the 13th century and resides in the original chapel.

The rooms are a good size for a European hotel. The bathroom is fabulous, but wardrobe space is limited. But, not a surprise in such an old building.

We enjoyed a fantastic two night stay during our trip to Italy. From the minute we walked into the hotel until the moment we left the service was exceptional. It felt like a real treat for us to stay here and the suite was perfect for our family with a teenager. The spa was lovely and relaxing and the room was spacious with an amazing jacuzzi shower and beautiful toiletries. It was a good 20 minutes walk to the main centre of Florence and the train station but we didn't mind the stroll, exploring the restaurants and amazing cafe round the corner. It is a beautiful hotel and we are so glad we booked here. On our last day we had to leave early for our next destination and the staff kindly prepared a breakfast bag for us. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at The Moon Boutique Hotel & Spa. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was a highlight – there was a wide variety of fresh options to choose from, something for every taste. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and welcoming, and everything was well-maintained. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay with excellent service!

The spa was fantastic, and the fact you had to book your 1.5 hours was a good thing as it restricted the numbers of people at any one time. The breakfasts were plentiful with everything you could want. The staff were all helpful and the hotel had a very classy feel about it and you could see that everyone had a pride in what they did. The location was good too with the T1 team stop right outside as well as the bus stop; that said you could walk to all the best tourist attractions in about 25 mins. Plenty restaurants nearby and a carrefour locale just round the corner

The wifi in the room was poor and kept dropping out.

Very nice design, friendly staff at the reception, really comfortable bed, multifunctional, modern shower tube. Good breakfasts. Hotel is in excellent location, with less then 30 minutes walking distance to the city centre with all attractions of Florence but also with bus and trum stop almost at the hotel gate. Own safe parking. There is also a beautiful spa - well equipped with scented showers mists, saunas, jacuzzi.

In our room the make-up mirror had broken light. Relatively small space for clothes/shoes so rather recommended for short stays (we had a comfort type of room). What is very sad are the rules in spa, which are totally against the healthy sauna use. In Italy nudity is fobidden and that is ok, but spa is disfunctional: you cannot go just in the cotton towel to sauna, you have to go with swimming clothes. More over, it is no problem to come inside into the sauna with plastic / rubber type of slippers! It is a crime against health. The is a way to stick to Italian law and healthy living: hotel can provide cotton slippers and organize showers with doors in spa area for naked showering and changing clothes from/to towels before/after sauna use.

The staff is amazing! They were helpful with anything needed during our stay. The breakfast was also fantastic, as was the service at breakfast (especially Francois)! The hotel is new and extremely clean with housekeeping services each day of our stay. Because it is a smaller boutique hotel, it has a much cozier feeling. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel is located away from major tourist destinations, so the area is a bit quieter. There are several good restaurants nearby, where more locals than tourists enjoy dining.

The room was a bit small for our large suitcases. If you are traveling with more luggage or for a longer period with multiple people in a room, you might consider getting a larger suite. Also there was no mini fridge in the room.

Staff are warm, welcoming, and very helpful. I loved the room! Glorious! The shower is heavenly, and the bed is harder than I am used to (did not disturb my sleep). I was sad to leave the room when I checked out. Provide complimentary breakfast, which is generous. I enjoyed my vegetarian omelette each morning. For self-service food, this needs to be labelled for those with dietary. Location is not as central as I thought. A 15 min walk to the centre, I always got taxis back to save my legs 🙂 However, this would not put me off staying here, you are near the river where there is a beautiful walk ❤️ The only criticism I have is the spa. I only went once due to it being open between 4pm-8pm and needing to pick a timeslot. The lack of availability meant I could not use it freely. I enjoyed my stay, I would stay again if I come back to Florence!

The room was large & clean with modern decor. Exactly like the pictures. Tea & coffee provided and water. Approx a 30 minute walk into the centre otherwise very well connected to the centre by bus or 1 stop on the tram to the train station. Staff helpful. Breakfast was also plentiful with some a la carte options.

I booked the spa in advance for the 7- 8.30 slot. I was lucky as only one other couple was there. The music in the spa was too loud and only had a track list of 3 piano tunes which was annoying. The steam room was not working on a strong power. I mentioned this to the assistant but she explained it was 5 mins on 5 mins off. I was not convinced. Overall this is a fancy hotel with a luxurious feel. I think great for honeymooners who want to be out of the hustle & bustle of the centre. I also think the huge discount available on Booking should actually just ne the normal price for the room - it's a little deceptive.
