The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to railway station, central market, and the key tourist spots. The Arno River was just around the corner from the hotel, so it was perfect to walk alongside the city center. The room was big and very clean, comfortable bed, breakfast with a rather good variety of food. There also was a small garden, where it was pleasant to take a breakfast.

The low power of hairdryer, it took a lot of time to dry the hair. Unfortunately, there were some repair works across the street, so when sitting in the garden, there was some noise. Anyway I took my breakfast in the garden and it didn't bother me.

My wife and I were really impressed by the hotel. High quality modern furnishings. Really clean rooms and a large comfortable bed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast.

Hardly a dislike, but it would be good if there was food available in the evening with the apertivo. After a tiring day in the city we didn't necessarily want to eat out every night.

This clean, modern facility has everything. Modern comfort and very friendly and nice staff. Excellent breakfast. Location is not too far from the Center though away from the crowds. Proximity to the city trams helps access the rail station easily. Wonderful "deli" sandwiches can be made to order a block away, at Fantasie Gastronomique.

Located at the edge of the historic district on a quiet square near the river, Hotel Ariele offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The rooms and common areas are spacious and tastefully furnished, and the charming courtyard is a lovely spot to relax. All major historic sites are within walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Parking is available in a nearby paid garage or for free on the surrounding streets. The staff is exceptionally courteous and always ready to help, ensuring a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

Breakfast: Exceptional breakfast with great chocolate croissants and a pleasant interior dining room. Room: The bidet was one of my favorite aspects of the room along with the very comfortable bathrobes provided. Concierge services: The front desk staff got me a taxi cab via computer within one minute. Not something that's easy to do in Florence whether it's a cab or an Uber!

Location: The location is away from the city center and the train station, so you definitely have to take that into account when planning your visit and scheduling your day. Late night food offerings aren't easy to come by in this part of the city. The best I did one night was a casual burger joint and I was happy to have that!

Good,quiet location within easy walking distance to some good restaurants and the train station. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant.

We had room 16 on the ground floor. The second morning you could hear gushing water from the room above. Which sounded like a toilet down pipe. We didn’t ask to change rooms because apart from this ours was a comfortable room and we had unpacked.

Very wide choice for breakfast all laid out. They catered to my wife's allergies to dairy and gluten (wheat), providing alternatives. Very wide, comfy bed, ideal after walking all round Florence during the day. We slept like logs. Above all, the staff were most helpful, both answering questions before we reached Florence and helping us with Wi-Fi access and advice on opening times which we could not find online.

It could have been closer to the city centre so we could pop back in the afternoon for a siesta ! But there's nothing you could do about that.

The hotel is as comfortable as being at home. The hotel is well designed with the shower room floor at the same level as the bedroom. There is a large walk in shower and a bidet. The colours are restful. The curtains are long and block out enough light. The risers on the stairs are quite low so that walking up or down the staircase is easy if you don't want to use the lift. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very varied and plentiful. The prunes were simply delicious, unlike most.

The melon at breakfast sometimes had hard bits left where not enough skin had been pared off. Actually I had to think hard to find something I disliked at all and I can live without melon at breakfast!

Fantastic location We stayed here for 14 nights, Sept to Oct. after reviewing many hotels I chose this and It went beyond my expectations. Everything was fantastic, easy check in with a smile to the spacious modern rooms and a good shower. The breakfast was amazing too, more than you can ask for. Located in a quiet area so no noise of the hustle and bustle of tourists. Close proximity to anywhere you would want to go - max 20 min walk. A nice courtyard to sit out at night and enjoy a glass of wine and a cigar. But what makes this hotel stand out is their courteous and helpful team, who are always greeting you with a smile. A special mention to Irina and Tilli at the reception, they were so helpful to all our needs and questions. Roxanna and team at breakfast were also very cheerful to take care of any of our breakfast needs. We were also given a complimentary bottle of wine as a thank you. I recommend this place as it will not disappoint you. We shall be back in the near future Thank you Team Ariele
