The location was unbeatable, fifty yards from the waterfront, ten minutes to the Ponte Vecchio (which all the other major attractions are very close together), less than ten minutes to the railway station, close to a supermarket, but still relatively secluded. The hotel was attractively decorated and was clean. My standard bedroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was a great spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Considering all the above I felt it was excellent value for money. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Florence.

Breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. The rooms were decent in size, and I expected bigger room on the cost I paid. The location was nice in a decent area not so far from the station. The bar was excellent and the staff at the counter was very nice too.

1. There was electric kettle in the room. for tea, coffee or hot water one has to come to the lounge to use the common facility. 2. There was a jug with hot water in the lounge, but I found one afternoon, that the water was totally cold. One of the staff bought hot water in the jug from the kitchen, but I found suspended particles in the jug, which was mostly deposits of calcium from water in the jug. When I showed the same hot water was brought again but I found the same suspended calcium in the water. Most probably the jugs have not been de-calcinated for a long time and the staff may not be aware of this problem too. Anyway, they ultimately arranged some hot water in a stainless-steel pot. 3. Ther was no iron or iron table in the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. Fast check in. Got to the room and....wait! I got an upgrade!!! I booked a single room, but got a double! That was a very pleasant surprise 😁. Very comfortable bed and high quality linen. Spacious room and bathroom. Great breakfast with many different choices. Short walk to Centro storico. But I think the main value are the people who work there. A special thank you to senior Riccardo, the manager, a warm and welcoming person. And, of course, a big thank you to the ladies in the breakfast room - all polite and always smiling. The place is only as good as the people who work there and my stay was very pleasant thanks to all the staff!

Outstanding decor. Much like a superior appointed manor house. My room was very clean, all the facilities, however my particular room was slightly smaller than I'd anticipated. However, both the staff ecountered and manager, I believe I spoke with him at checkout , were genuinely interested in my comfort and helpful. I also appreciated I might speak English. Also thankful Taxi to Airport was booked through assistance from the hotel main desk. Breakfast was included.Very comfortable stay .

I was very pleased to get a really good rate for such a nice hotel over the Thanksgiving weekend. The room was small but enough for just one person. I wasn't spending time in it for the most part. The location was great--near the Arno which made walking to the historic center very easy. And there is a great little chocolate shop (fantastic pastries and candies) just a few minutes away. The staff were very helpful and the holiday decorations were festive.

The hotel is easily accessed from the train station. Hotel is also close to the river so ready access to a walk along the Arno. My room was spotless and the bathroom well equipped.

Food service is weak. Coffee at breakfast was terrible. Americano coffee on the buffet was awful. No cappuccino or latte available When I asked I could get an espresso that I mixed with the warm milk at the buffet. Italian coffee is so good. And these days there are such good coffee machines. There is no good reason for the coffee being so bad. I also think their list of amenities is misleading. They say they have room service, but all they can serve is a drink. They kind of hide the fact that apart from breakfast there is not food.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Executive. Located slightly away from the tourist hubbub, it offers a peaceful atmosphere in Florence. It's conveniently just a 5-minute walk from the train station and about 15-20 minutes on foot from the main tourist attractions. The reception staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was pleasant and clean, with a well-appointed bathroom suitable for a double room. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and breakfast was ok. In summary, I would choose Hotel Executive again for my next visit to Florence.

While my stay at Hotel Executive was enjoyable, there are a few areas that could be improved. Firstly, the breakfast could benefit from better quality food. Secondly, I found the price to be on the higher side.

They provided the crib as I requested in the reservation, and even provided a very nice welcome kit for my baby, which I found very thoughtful. Breakfast is very good, with a complete selection of bread, cheese and fruits. They even offer some snacks in the lobby for those that want to hang out in the bar. Location is not that far from the city center and the tourist attractions, just 15min walk to reach them.

This was the worst hotel bed I've ever slept in, with very uncomfortable pillows that looked more like a folded sheet. The curtains do not have blackouts, so there was a lot of light in the room which forced us to wake up early in the morning. Also a lot of mosquitoes there in the room, with no repellents or any type of protection in the windows. The rest of the hotel structure is overall good, but for a 4-star hotel I also expected the staff to be more friendly and supportive. For example: we just received help with our luggage after the manager saw my husband struggling to open the door while holding our bags. Then the manager himself was very kind to offer some help to my husband, while there were two people in the reception watching him as nothing was happening...

This was a beautiful hotel - very clean and welcoming Staff were amazing- Riccardo was exceptional and allowed us to watch England Euros in the conference suite!! He recommended restaurants and helped with booking a visit to see statue of David The cleaning staff were amazing too and our room was cleaned daily and to high standard

It was a little out of the centre so a 15/20 minute walk to the places of interest- ok with us but if you are limited with walking especially in very high temperatures would be difficult
