We had a great stay at Executive. We were checked in early and given a room with a terrace. The room was on the small side but very clean and quiet. Good size bathroom. It happened to be very cold at night in Florence and the staff kindly provided a heater. The hotel is 10 min from the train station and very close to Arno River, making a nice walk to all of the attractions. Good assortment for breakfast. The evening happy hour and little snacks were great. The staff is polite and very friendly. Special thanks to Riccardo, the hotel manager. I would highly recommend the Hotel Executive.

Old hotel with character and charm. Room size was good for two, modern bathroom, good lighting, very clean. The staff was amazingly pleasant and helpful. Included breakfast was good. Afternoon snacks at the bar were appreciated. Location was walkable from the train station or across the river to many good restaurants. Walkable to duomo area and markets in about 20 minutes. We would stay here again mostly because of the excellent staff. They even arranged a 4am taxi pick up for our departure and gave us a breakfast to go.

The air conditioning in the room could have been better. We were advised to run it continuously but it had trouble keeping up with the 100 degree weather. The rest of the hotel seemed well cooled.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed every moment. The location is perfect - walking distance to the train station, main attractions, restaurants. The room was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated, with attention to the smallest details. Breakfast with a selection of cheeses, sausages, fruits, pastries. There is always a kettle with hot water in the lobby, a selection of teas and cookies and a kettle in the room too. The hotel staff was extremely kind, always available for questions and gave excellent recommendations for trips, restaurants and local explanations. This is definitely a hotel we would like to return to.

Everything is fine

Breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. The rooms were decent in size, and I expected bigger room on the cost I paid. The location was nice in a decent area not so far from the station. The bar was excellent and the staff at the counter was very nice too.

1. There was electric kettle in the room. for tea, coffee or hot water one has to come to the lounge to use the common facility. 2. There was a jug with hot water in the lounge, but I found one afternoon, that the water was totally cold. One of the staff bought hot water in the jug from the kitchen, but I found suspended particles in the jug, which was mostly deposits of calcium from water in the jug. When I showed the same hot water was brought again but I found the same suspended calcium in the water. Most probably the jugs have not been de-calcinated for a long time and the staff may not be aware of this problem too. Anyway, they ultimately arranged some hot water in a stainless-steel pot. 3. Ther was no iron or iron table in the room.

The location was unbeatable, fifty yards from the waterfront, ten minutes to the Ponte Vecchio (which all the other major attractions are very close together), less than ten minutes to the railway station, close to a supermarket, but still relatively secluded. The hotel was attractively decorated and was clean. My standard bedroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was a great spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Considering all the above I felt it was excellent value for money. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Florence.

There was nothing to complain about whatsoever.

We stayed in a suite as a family and had a wonderful experience. The room was very spacious, with a unique maisonette-style layout that made it especially exciting for our kids. There were two bathrooms—one with a bathtub and the other with just a shower—which made things very convenient for our family of five. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were more than sufficient and we had everything we needed during our stay. The location was interesting—it opened up into a quieter area after passing through some narrow, busy alleys, and there were shops nearby which was convenient.

If I had to mention one downside, it would be that although the room was described as having a river view, we couldn’t actually see the river from the window, even though it faced that direction. That said, the room was so lovely that this didn’t bother us at all.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. Fast check in. Got to the room and....wait! I got an upgrade!!! I booked a single room, but got a double! That was a very pleasant surprise 😁. Very comfortable bed and high quality linen. Spacious room and bathroom. Great breakfast with many different choices. Short walk to Centro storico. But I think the main value are the people who work there. A special thank you to senior Riccardo, the manager, a warm and welcoming person. And, of course, a big thank you to the ladies in the breakfast room - all polite and always smiling. The place is only as good as the people who work there and my stay was very pleasant thanks to all the staff!

Nice breakfast but would recommend they grind coffee rather than dispensers.

We had a young couple next door it transpired who were very loud and spoke at the top of their voices until 230am - it was really hard to figure out where the sound was coming from - I thought it was through the air vents, but turned it was next door which we identified when we got up. Not the hotel's fault as the staff were lovely. But perhaps a sign in the rooms - we barely slept at all that night.

Excellent quiet location away from traffic in a peaceful neighborhood, close to restaurants, supermarket and other shops not far from the train station. Friendly and helpful reception staff Rooms are comfortable but not too spacious for 2 people. Breakfast is satisfactory with a selection of cereals , local delicatessen , variety of bread , pancakes etc eggs and fresh juice are at a charge.
