Spotlessly clean, nice big room

The bar area in the evening lacked atmosphere as it’s in the restaurant/breakfast room but annoyingly we were told by the barman we weren’t allowed to sit on the beautiful terrace to have a drink in the evening. Can’t understand what difference it made sitting the other side of the glass door from him but we decided to leave it and go elsewhere!

Stunning property with large, comfortable rooms and great staff. Feels very luxurious and the roof terraces are beautiful.

The swimming pool is a lot smaller than it looks in the photos (FYI)

Loved, loved, loved this hotel! When we arrived we were told they had upgraded our room giving us a balcony! The room was beautiful, the bathroom was stunning- great lighting, and an excellent hairdryer. There was plenty of space in our closet with drawers and cubbies to store all our stuff. Located a block from the Arno River, it was a quiet location but an easy walk to everything we came to see. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful. We were immediately met with a smiling manager, who welcomed us and asked how we would like our coffee. Breakfast included an omelet station and lots of options with meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit. With an option to sit outside in the warmer months- amazing view of Florence. On the roof was a beautiful pool- said to be heated but not warm enough for us! Hope to get back in warmer months. In the evening we would head up to the bar for a nightcap- the staff was so nice! I had reached out to the hotel before our visit to assist us in making a reservation at a restaurant, which was challenging to get in contact with. They were wonderful about getting us that reservation. Hotel Kraft is a hidden gem!

Hotel Kraft is a lovely property located in a quiet area that's not too far from the old center. The reception on the day of our arrival was excellent, and the staff provided impeccable service, particularly Mauro on the day of our check-out. The cleaning staff also did an outstanding job. The breakfast area had a friendly atmosphere, and the staff working there created a relaxed vibe. The view from their roof terrace restaurant is superb.

The storage in the wardrobe could be improved with shelves, and it could be a bonus to check the showers (the door did not close well so water leaked onto the ground).

Everything was smooth and efficient. From the speedy check-in going forward nothing was too much trouble. There was always a member of staff on hand. All staff were helpful and genuinely wanted to give good customer service. Very clean room and whole hotel. Very comfortable bed and bedroom. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The view from the restaurant on the open-air terrace was great. It was a shame that we had bad weather throughout and could not use the terrace because of this. The open-air swimming pool looked great, but again we could not use it (although it was still heated) because of the rain. Location was very good. Very quiet, but with many restaurants nearby. It took about 15-20 minutes to walk into the old town.

The restaurant menu choices for dinner were not to my taste and not enough choice.

The property was great. It was in the edge of the city center, so it was very walkable to get to the demo and get to the shopping and get to the bridges and the restaurants. I had a great time. The concierge services were very lovely and amenable they would bookrestaurant reservations, they would call me taxis. They essentially made my visit the easy.

There’s nothing really bad about the property to report. Actually, the rooms were lovely. The building itself very conveniently pleased. I have not a bad thing to report really

Great family room. Large queen with two twins. Comfortable. Two bathrooms two minibars. Everything in the room Worked and was clean. Staff was very helpful. Gym was great. I loved the sauna too. The breakfast was great. Even though I mention some issues this was a great stay.

Lots of noise from upstairs. The staff said they didn’t know what the source was but it almost sounded like construction noise. Also I really would have liked black out curtains. It was very light in the room. The dinner at the restaurant was not our favorite. No we didn’t complain.

Rooms are a bit noisy, you can hear your neighbors. The Valet service could be better: car was obviously parked into a wall (thankfully no paint damage). The Valet who brought the car was reeking of cigarettes. I couldn't get the smell out of the car for hours (great when you have a 6h drive ahead)

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Mattei made sure we could stay another night and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. The location was perfect for us. It was not in the hustle and bustle of the sights, but only a 15 minute walk away. Making for a more quiet surrounding and good night sleep. Room and bedding are comfortable. Water cooker, tea and coffee, and fridge with drinks provided in the room. Breakfast is good.
