This hotel is well located for a gentle 5 minute walk along the riverside into the centre of the old city, ready to visit all of the attractions of Florence. The relatively small hotel provided a spacious, well maintained and very clean room, with mini-bar, tv, wardrobe, etc. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and also arranged for a local car park to pick-up and drop-off our rental car whenever we needed it. I researched the cost of parking before we arrived, and €30 per night was the going rate for a secure car park, and that is what the hotel charged too. I would be happy to visit again or to recommend this hotel to friends.

It would have been nice to have a bar area to sit in when recovering at the hotel from a long day of sightseeing. There is a rooftop sitting area, and a square/patio at the back of the hotel where you could order drinks to be delivered to, but they were always empty and somehow didn't feel inviting, although I have no doubt that the reception staff would have been very attentive in serving drinks there if we had asked. At €25 per person per day, the optional breakfast was too pricey for us, especially when we could both eat a fantastic breakfast in town for less than €25 in total.

The staff was quite remarkable and extraordinarily helpful and professional. Every effort was made to accommodate us while we were there. The start of the stay did not start off quite well due to communication between Booking.com and The Hotel. However, it was the front desk employees who made the difference . These young people are so sincere and thoughtful, I truly hope the ownership of this Hotel appreciates and compensates them for the great job they do.

The constant and at sometime tremendous amount of construction noise surrounding this property! They should be required to state this is their description while this is being done ! also the owner’s was at first not understanding of this issues! They said there would be not construction on the weekend which was not true. Construction all day on Saturday and Sunday! Also the cranes and banging and construction started at 5:45 am everyday! if you are in the back of the hotel , this can be extremely terrible.

I used this hotel for my first trip to Italy with friends as a graduation trip from college. They were very kind to us, offering us coffee when we checked in and introducing us to the rooftop terrace with a great view. The receptionist was very friendly and smiling and made us feel very welcome at this hotel. The terrace that was recommended to us had a great view of the beautiful city and the river. The room was atmospheric and clean, and we appreciated the free soft drinks in the room, including coffee, water, and juice. When we didn't know that we had to turn the room key twice and struggled to open it, the staff nearby quickly helped us. I was anxious about my first trip to Italy, but thanks to the friendly staff and the lovely room, I had the best memories. We only stayed one night this time, but I wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much for a great time! You guys have made me love Italy！！ I hope to stay at this hotel again the next time I come to Italy!

We were a bit concerned a bit about the location, a bit off the tourist center of Florence, but in the end this was one of the best aspects of this hotel! The area is very silent and peaceful, there are nice restaurants and cafes very close by. The building is impressive, the breakfast room is amazing, you feel you are back in the 17th century :) Everything was working properly, the staff are amazing! We would surely return here! Grazie per tutto!

An armchair in the room would have been a nice addition after the long walks :)

Location and staff were great! A special shout out to the staff who were extremely polite and helpful. The property is beautiful and has a rustic and cozy vibe to it.

The room was not very well lit. The lights are too dim and paint too dark. However, there was a good amount of natural light coming into the room in the day. Also, there were some difficult to reach spaces which could have been cleaner such as top of bathroom shelves.

The location suited us perfectly. The centre is a short walk away but because of the location it was far less crowded and the restaurants either side of the nearest bridge are all excellent, (like Belcore and the Grotta Marina https://www.grottamarinafirenze.com/ ). Much frequented by locals which is always a good sign. Abdel who welcomed us could not have been a kinder host.

Couldn't fault anything really. Courtesy umbellas, welcome coffee on arrival, checked us in early because there was an available room, charming central courtyard. We didn't take breakfast but 25 euros seemed a little pricey. They should have a price for continental and the full price for a full breakfast, because in Italy, "la prima colazione e solo un cappucino ed un cornetto".

We stayed for three nights as a couple to explore Florence. The staff here are excellent and our room was clean, however the weather was quite cold and wet and the heating was only turned on, on our last day. I cannot comment on food as we ate out for all our meals. The location is quite a walk to the centre of Florence, but we did not mind as it overlooked the river Arno which was quite picturesque.

The room could have been a little warmer, but we did understand that the weather is out of their control and changes so quickly they may have thought it would change, which it didn’t during our stay.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation and really well located. About 10-15 minute walk down the river from the Ponte Vecchio. In a very quiet spot too next to the American consulate. We had some issues with our air con which were dealt with especially quickly by the hotel staff, who were incredibly helpful and polite.

The Hotel Lungarno Vespucci is in a great location. First, the hotel is lovely, the room was very comfortable with a nice sized bathroom and a large window (that opens) to let in fresh air and light. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for meals, sites, and ready to pull out a map to guide us to our daily destination. The hotel is also centrally located. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and Florence is just amazing!

Really lovely place. The staff, Abdul, was so lovely! Greeted us with a glass of cold water as it was a hot day and then took time to give us some recommendations of what we should do. Really helpful! The hotel is in a GREAT LOCATION! Close enough to the train station you don’t need to get a taxi if you don’t want too. The rooftop terrace is so nice for a drink as the sun sets

Bathroom was a tad small but shower was great and had good pressure. Had to bring bags up about 7 steps to room but nothing too hard
