The staff was really nice, I had my birthday while staying there and they surprised me with a note and a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room. The location is perfect. You are 10 min away from the historical center and train station. They changed sheets and towels regularly, and it was clean. The price was great for the location so we would come back again.

It needs a little love and refreshing of the rooms, but they are decent, and the location is more than perfect for the price.

Although we stayed for just one night, we were very satisfied with our experience. They allowed us to check in early, which was a great convenience. The lady at the reception was very helpful and even upgraded our room. Our room had a balcony, was spacious, bright, and very clean. When we reported that the kettle in our room was not working, they immediately replaced it with a new one. The hotel was within walking distance of both the train station and the main tourist attractions. If I visit Florence again, I would definitely choose this hotel. We thank the hotel staff once again.

The front staff was so helpful during our stay. They answered our many questions, made an excellent dinner recommendation, loaned us an adapter after we left ours on the train and even called a taxi for us the morning we left. Our room had four twin beds which worked well for our family of 4 adults. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the tours we booked at the Uffizi, Accademia, and Duomo. It was close to the river and even to a ferris wheel we rode on our last night before heading home. The area felt safe. The room photos on booking.com are accurate.

The front desk is only staffed from 8am to 9pm. There were signs around the rooms that told you to keep your blinds closed with no explanation and the curtains in the lobby were always closed. It made me question the safety of the area but there were no indications that the area was unsafe. We were out after dark both nights and many other people were active in the area and the restaurant next door had a lovely outdoor dining area that always had people eating when we were visiting.

The room was a bit noisy early in the morning as it was a corner room overlooking the road.

Everyone I interacted with at the front counter was really helpful and friendly. The room had a new bathroom with a great shower and facilities. Comfortable bed that was larger than expected for a small room. I had a room at the back and it was very quiet. The location is great: easy walk to the river, the city center, and the train station. There are also a number of nice cafes and breakfast places nearby.

I guess not all the rooms have been renovated? Mine was bare white walls, with a TV that was not plugged in / working. That said, it was clean and well set-up.

Cute small room,r. Very clean, also small bathroom and very clean. The staff was very helpful. There was a restaurant next door and a coffee shop beside it. Little shops around the next corner, which I loved , but I was only there for one day. I forgot to mention the shower was amazing , very big.

I wasn't very happy about the facilities in my room, the TV didn't work as well as the hairdryer. Plz make sure you check if everything works when you go to this Hotel, the staff will be more than happy to assist you.

Cleanliness in some instances, e.g. windows and signs of mold in bath which could easily be removed with a good cleaner.

The staff are knowledgeable about the local attractions and can help you make day plans if you so like. The nearby street Borgo Ognissanti has some great bakeries and a nice local leather shop around the corner.

While it's a short 10-minute distance from the railway station, a short stretch of the road can be a bit lonely if you are walking late at night. The hotel said its generally safe- also there is a slightly longer alternate path via Santa Maria.

Our room was perfect for a 3 night stay in Florence. Spacious, comfortable and clean. We were a 10-20 minute walk to most activities. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival we were given a map and the receptionist talked us through the main places to visit, and her restaurant recommendation was spot on. Good value and prompt service.

Our shower was slow to drain so water built up in the tray. A minor issue as we managed by turning down the shower pressure, which by the way was great.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly (probably the friendliest people we spoke to over the course of our honeymoon), and the room was exactly what we needed. Highlights of the hotel were: - A welcome gift of a small bottle of prosecco, as it was our honeymoon (which was an amazing surprise) - Very friendly reception staff, who spoke very good English, provided us with a map of Florence and highlighted the key areas of the city - Excellent air conditioning! - Close location to the train station, and a short walk to pretty much everything - Incredible shower (you have no idea how good it was until you try it) - Clean, crisp linens - Wifi both fast and reliable - Next door to Gamberini which does delightful little pastries, cakes, and coffee

The only thing missing from the room would have been some more storage for clothes such as a set of drawers.
