Selection at breakfast was very good including for gluten free option. Central location was convenient for walking to all the sites of Florence . Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No signage on door / entrance to building to guide you to the fact that the hotel reception was on the 3rd floor. No instructions given in advance on how to gain access to the building.

Breakfast was identical each day, but give me a cappuccino and cornetto and I’m happy. Espresso machine was a touch temperamental but staff helped, just don’t stand directly in front as it spits a little. Selection of meats, cheese, bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt and a few hot items - scrambled eggs, “bacon” and hot dogs :) Front desk staff were very helpful. Laura was particularly high energy and well-informed and caring. My wife got food poisoning and she made a point to tell me to have her call if she needed anything. Good restaurant recommendations too. Great view of Florence from our window.

Having a bathroom in room was a luxury but very narrow. Fortunately we are not tall people so it was not a problem for us. There was at most 12” between front of commode and the opposite wall so someone with long legs would bump their knees. One small suggestion for improvement. Breakfast starts at 7:30 however most tours in Florence start at 8 AM and want you there 15 minutes early. The timing is too tight for even a quick breakfast since it’s a 10 minute walk to the central station. Staff packed a bag breakfast but it was really sparse on sustainable calories and had NO caffeine - a bottle of water, orange, couple of small plastic wrapped butter cookies and a packaged small chocolate chip muffin. A little disappointed since we paid to have breakfast included.

The breakfast was excellent - a wide array of foods. The room was a good size for the three of us, nicely decorated and clean. The hotel is very close to the train station and within walking distance to various sites (Duomo, Statue of David, Arno River) which was very convenient. The staff were pleasant, provided information, and provided boxed breakfasts one morning since we needed to leave very early for a tour.

Visitors should be advised the hotel is on the third floor so you need to climb a stairway and take a 2-person elevator to get to the reception desk - then another flight of stairs to the rooms. People who have difficulty with stairs should be aware. If this doesn't affect you - the hotel is very, very nice.

Lot of good things about this property : 1) Quality of breakfast was superb 2) Hotel staffs were very supportive 3) Youtube, Netflix, Amazon everything were available in the TV - kids were very happy !! (no use for adults) 4) Location is very good

May be the size of room is the only negative.

The breakfast was great! The location was good. Close enough to train station and T2 line to get to airport.

It was confusing finding the place and getting to the correct floor level of where the hotel was, but we figured it out. The bathroom is quite narrow and dark, would’ve been nice to have more light in there. Our room was next to the lobby, so make sure to pack earplugs. Also, for some reason the floor above us I don’t know if it was part of the hotel but the people above were so loud every time after 10 PM at night until a little after midnight. Just really loud footsteps regularly. You could even hear it through the earplugs. We did ask the staff if they could notify the floor above to keep it down but they weren’t sure if they could do anything about that since they said they weren’t sure if it was part of the hotel rooms, so it just took us a while to fall asleep.

The staff was amazing. We travel extensively and can hardly remember a more pleasant and helpful staff. The room was very clean and had a nice view. The breakfast was simple but fresh and delicious. Very comfortable and great location close to everything we needed to see.

The room was on the small side but it was larger than the first room they were going to put us in. It was fine but not large enough to stay in other than to sleep. Also, when we left the front desk called us a taxi and charged us 25 euros. It wasn’t clear that was a service charge to make the call and not payment for the cab. Or if it was the driver had no idea and charged us again for the ride.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff members were awesome, the rooms were so nice, and the breakfasts were great (7:30-10:00). During our stay, which encompassed two different dates (first stay was for one night on a Wednesday, and the 2nd stay was for the following Sunday thru Tuesday), I asked Ricardo at the front desk if we could leave our luggage with him at the hotel when we checked out on Wednesday so we could do some sightseeing and he suggested that since we were going to be back in a few days, why not just leave the bags with him at the hotel and just take clothes to wear during those days when we were going to be gone, which would make our traveling to the other cities so much easier to do, and we gladly took him up on his offer. It was not something we thought about doing, but something that made it so much better for us. He even printed out some information for us on the "Wine Windows" (something my wife heard about in Florence) which are located throughout the city for us to go and try out. One morning we had an early excursion and when I tried to see if the breakfast room was open before it was supposed to be, Christian who was working the front desk offered to ask the dining room staff if we could go and eat a little early and were allowed to do so which made our day so much nicer. And Laura at the front desk was so nice and helpful during our stay, always checking in on us and making our stay so enjoyable. Breakfasts were amazing. Hot eggs, sausage, croissants, juices, cappuccino/expresso, cereals, etc made for a great way to start each day. The staff working to make sure the food and drinks were hot and fresh did an great job. And being able to walk one block to the Arno River to enjoy the ambiance of the river and the Ponte Vecchio Bridge (3 blocks away) was perfect. Train station is a 10 minute walk away. here is a Conad grocery store one block away with great prices on wine, snacks, etc.

It would have been nice to have a directory of the tv stations printed out and placed inside the hotel room information booklet, and to note which stations provided different languages such as English, Spanish, Italian

The hotel was in a quiet part of the city yet close enough to walk to all the major sights (Ufizzi, Duomo, Pitti Palace, etc). The reception staff were extremely helpful with information about good restaurants to visit and which buses to take to visit farther off locations (e.g. Piazza Michelangelo where there are great views over the city). The buffet breakfast was excellent with a really good range of food: much better than we had anticipated from the 'buffet breakfast' description. Do be aware that the hotel is one the third floor (second floor in UK language). There is a lift to the hotel to get to the third floor but before you get there, there is a flight of steps from street level to the lift.

The hotel was very modern and the location was nearby all the major site. Laura who was at the front desk was super nice, kind and helpful. On my first day, she even helped carry my suitcase up to my room. She was always smiling and was just delightful. The breakfast is the best one I’ve had on my trip. My room was for a single so it was small but it was super comfortable and I don’t mind the shower being small. If you’re tall and large, make sure you upgrade to a bigger room. As for the stairs, it’s another great opportunity to get some exercise. 😃

In room 24, I kept hearing water dropping noises. It emanated from the wall beneath the AC so I think it’s condensation. You might want to have it checked. Other than that, which didn’t bother me too much, I found nothing else negative about the property.
