I try to stay here after a few weeks traveling on each trip so I can often return every 5 days for another stay. It is close to the Arno river and the original location for the American consulate. (shall be asking mr rubio if he can reinstate this) Very clean, GREAT desk staff, quiet, 2 blocks from a good cafe for morning coffee and cake..........they serve meals but I didnt try this. Rooms have good desk space for anyone on a business trip or even mapping out the days route You can take the direct route to the train station in less than 15 minutes........There are also several bakeries nearby that offer coffee too, really good pizza in the afternoon and the funniest 'everything' store that is so packed with things you might need after the main stores close. warning, I could not get down the aisle with a back pack on! There is a supermarket in the area as well. The hotel is not in the center of the city but there are also no crowds blocking the streets............Often I walked across the near by bridge to the Santo Spirito market and enjoyed a cafe at a table in the square.......... You see the same people each morning..........my favorite was the older gentleman reading his paper while his caretaker brought the morning coffee to the table.................

not a complaint but info: 2 steps to the front door, you can ring to be let in or use your room card at night, another 2 steps into the lobby. tea and coffee set up in the room: if you like milk in your beverage, just pick some up from the market,,,,,,,,,,,,there is a refrigerator in the room

Location is about 20 minutes walk out of the city centre, but there truly are worst things in life than a walk along the Arno to get where you need to be, the location was just perfect for me and I enjoyed the ease of the property backing onto the river as it was very easy to find when returning from a hot day. AC was absolutely perfect for evening recovery, room was much larger than expected, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and were able to provide plenty of reccomendations for different restaurants and local needs such as the grocery store and safe areas at night.

The room was very clean and a good size. They provided robes and slippers, and we really liked the complimentary San Pellegrino water and toiletries bag which includes toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap and more - very impressive!. The bathroom also has a bidet and the bed was very comfortable, by far one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property. If anything, having breakfast or a bar where you could grab a meal would have made this hotel absolutely perfect!

We only stayed 1 night due to rearranged travel out of Florence, but it was a lovely, modern hotel in a nice area. It was nice and quiet, with not a lot of noise, people or traffic, but still within walking distance of some very local restaurants and 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main train station and getting into the heart of historic Florence. We found it at late notice and the price was really good, especially for what you get. The staff were really friendly and helpful and had us checked in and out very quickly, and offered to highlight the different attractions in Florence.

The standard double room was lovely, but fairly small, but it met our needs. 1 or 2 nights would be fine, but I would have upgraded to a larger room if I was staying more than 2 days.

The location is so convenient close to the river, city centre, shops, cafes and train station, SM Novella since I travelled in by train from Milan. It is also about 20 mins away from the international airport for my departure. Staff were helpful and made good recommendations for restaurants and cafes which the locals would patronize and not 'tourist traps', which was what I wanted. It had good toiletries, towels, bathrobes and slippers. Recommended and I will stay here again.

The very well-kept-up hotel. All staff greet you with a warm and friendly attitude. Everything is well cleaned, new furniture, functional and comprehensive type of bathroom, bed more comfortable bed, quality bedding, right mattress, spotlessly white clean bed linen, 2 different kind of pillows, coffee and tea sets and good quality brand of drinking water as a gift. The area is quiet, located in convenient distance to all points of interest

The size of room is very small. it’s too tight even for single staying. The shower kit includes only an over head fixed shower head.

No breakfast, but wonderful and quiet location and very very clean! Shoutout to the lovely concierges who gave us a ton of recommendations near the area particularly Julia and another female concierge (I just can’t remember her name!!!) but they were so nice and friendly and called us taxis whenever we needed transportation!!

they supply a high in capsule coffee machine but assume NO ONE uses milk. I purchased my own, but find it odd that you have high end coffee and expect everyone prefers strong, small amounts of coffee I do not understand how a 4 star hotel can not have heat 24/7. I had this problem in other hotels but I was finally told the hours the heat is on. In Italy it depends on location. Several hotels closer to the center of town had 24/7 heat

Location was close to the train station and eateries. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was amazing!, very clean and extras like, beautiful robes& slippers, brand name body care, fresh linen, comfortable bed and the room smelt wonderful. Highly recommend.

the interior has been updated and added amenities for guest: bathrobe, great shower, comfortable bed free water which was helpful

steps to enter the lobby, difficult to drag luggage to the door and another 2 steps into the lobby. think to add a ramp because there is a 'pod' style coffee system there is NO milk for coffee or tea......very odd. so bring your own. I found the upgraded double more comfortable than the basic. A bigger room and a better shower layout so you do not trip entering the bathroom. Also a much bigger desk and I work on trips I had a lot of trouble regulating the heat in the room. I could have asked the desk for help
