It's a fantastic hotel located in the heart of Florence. Boutique Hotel del Corso proves that you can have it all - amazing accommodation in an old building right in the center of the city - yet having all the comfort and amenities you could need. Both room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable, spacious, and freshly renovated. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. The ladies at reception were very kind and helpful. There is a bar in the hallway with free water, coffee, and snacks for all guests. There is a terrace on the 3rd floor with a view of the entire city - simply breathtaking. Would stay again in this hotel next time I visit Florence and will recommend it to all my friends and family.

The location was fantastic - located off the central piazza where the Duomo was, bit still central that the hotel was accessible from all areas of Florence. The room was lovely and clean. The bathroom was nice and big and the rainhead shower was luxurious. Barbara was so welcoming on our arrival and provided a great amount of information regarding the hotel and local family run restaurants to dine at. Would stay again.

Amazing location just one street away from the Duomo with lovely hidden piazzas just behind the hotel. Great views from the roof terrace which the hotel pictures don’t do justice. Friendly staff.

There is no step free access from the street. The hotel is on the second and third floors but the lift only starts from the first floor, not the ground. So it wouldn’t be good for people with mobility issues or prams/buggies. We were with my 80yr old Mum and she managed OK, but it was a consideration, and all the grandkids helped with bags etc. It was a busy street so you could hear noises most of the night but the triple glazed windows did the job and it was all good noises, nothing rowdy. Felt safe everywhere.

It says it has parking. Nope! It is extra, not part of the property, and if you have big luggage... have to walk dodging cars, crazy mopeds and people. Also, the elevator is available after 4 flights stairs (= 1 floor in medieval palace)

Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable, food was fresh and tasty.

Our several requests for taxi service were accomplished by front desk except for 1 occasion. The front desk told us to use an app to book a taxi. We were shocked and put out because we were downtown, it was getting dark, we do not speak Italian, and it created concerns about how we were we going to return to the hotel. Gratefully a person from our tour helped us and we eventually returned to the hotel after dark. This was a concern for us.

The property location was excellent. The property level of cleanliness is great . The furniture condition was good quality and we felt comfortable using it. The staff share a list of tours and help you booking it as well as a list of best restaurants and help guide to any place you like to go like the laundry. Cake shops to celebrate my birthday etc.

The room size was small. The lighting was terrible. The bathroom light was better than the room light. The lift was far away from the ground floor and you have to climb so many steps to reach the lift. It was extremely slow as well. The fact that there isn’t a coffee machine in the room although there is one at the reception. The fact that Florence has poor taxi service in general. However, we’re lucky that the taxi came to pick us on our last day even though there was a strike on that day. People attitude in general can be off putting at times.

Location was just a block or two from Duomo-excellent location! The rooms had lots of space. We had a 2 bedroom with the second bedroom having a double pull out couch and a single pull out couch with a table and chairs. The windows were sound proof and only one night (Saturday) it was a bit noisy but other than that it was quiet. The staff were wonderful, easy to check in/out, answered multiple questions and helpful. The bathroom was updated, clean, no mold (as I have seen in other posts). No breakfast provided but many locations right next door that you could get something. I would recommend.

There is about 20 steps to get to the elevator and then had elevator access to the office and rooms. Elevator a bit slow but worked. The climate control a bit hard to understand but was fine.

This was a charming little hotel and very close to must-see sights in the central of Florence. Big plusses for us were A/C (we stayed in early August), grocery store nearby (Carrefour Express), short walking distance to main shopping streets and tourist spots, and a cute roof-top terrace where we took in a beautiful sunset over Florence roof tops. The room was comfortable and had everything you could need.

This hotel is on the top floors of what was probably an old Palazzo with wide elegant stone stair cases and a fresco on the vestibule wall. Welcoming and helpful receptionists who speak good English. The ceilings are very high and room sizes are really spacious. Nice comfortable bed and lovely modern bathroom with a huge shower. It has a lovely roof-terrace with 360 degree views of Florence. It is within a 10 minute walk of the Uffizzi and the River Arno. There are also good restaurants on the same street a few steps away. A very convenient and safe place to stay.

The door is opened by a code, so make sure you keep the instructions with you as reception finishes at 8pm. I got in a panic because I missed a digit, but there was someone at the end of the phone to help. There is a lift but it starts on the first floor, so be ready to drag your suitcase up the first flight.

The location is very central. The room and bathroom were well equipped and spacious. There is a nice hospitality area near the reception where you can pick up extra tea or coffee and cookies. It is a very old and very charming building.

The room we got came with a balcony "with a view". Unfortunately the balcony is about 2ft wide and the view is not very pleasant. You have to climb a lot of stairs before you get to the elevator that takes you up to the other floors. It is definitely not the place for those who have physical or medical issues with the climb or for people who have to carry strollers etc.
