The hotel was located within walking distance to the main train station with good public transport nearby. Although there is a tram and bus for people who may find the 1.3km walk too far. The room was clean and comfortable and there were no noises from outside even being on a busy road. It was easy to get to all the main site seeing attractions.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room or common lounge/dining room.

The hotel was secure, clean and the room was very nice. Traveling alone, I felt safe inside. I was also able to store my luggage before and after my stay for a few hours while I explored outside checkin times. The owner was very kind and helpful

The location was fairly far from the city center, and was in an area that didn't feel very safe to me. I didn't hand any issues, but was on guard the entire time I was coming and going. The walls of the rooms are fairly thin as well. That didn't bother me too much, but is something to note

Owner was very friendly and welcoming, told us anything we wanted to know and offered to hold our bags after check-out. Wi-Fi worked very. Bed was comfy and room was clean and cool.

Shower was small, a larger person would struggle to use it. Road noise is quite bad, had to keep the windows shut all the time, but they did a good job of keeping it quieter.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Leopolda in Florence. The location was perfect—close to key attractions but still peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, which made for a very relaxing stay. The staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful. Overall, it's a great choice for anyone visiting Florence!

This hotel is just a perfect place. Perfectly appointed for a no frills hotel. It is located within walking distance from everything. I travelled by myself and Maurizio made me feel so welcome and taken care of, warm, welcoming and very helpful. It was very clean as well. The bed was very comfortable and the room is soundproof to all the street noise. I slept so well there. I can’t wait to go back and visit here again.

great value for money very good location, only a short walk into Florence centre amazing hosts. they gave me recommendations for restaurants and were very eager to help and friendly. safe environment. as a solo traveller I felt very safe and secure

soundproofing was my only issue. it was quite loud first thing in the morning my tv didn’t turn on I think the remote batteries were dead but I didn’t want to watch tv anyway so wasn’t an issue for me

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were great and even had a balcony.

The location isn't ideal being far away from city center, however there is a bus stop and tram that is only about a 3 minute walk away.

We got there early and could leave our bags and head into the city to start our tour. Owner was nice and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable enough for our stay. The deli close by sells amazing tasty treats :)

Location was a good walk into town but that was reflected in the price and we didn't mind as we booked last minute.

Hosts are super charming, supported us in any inquiry, their fluffy doggo with curly fur instantly occupied my heart. Location is quite good, 15 mins walking from railroad station, one stop by tram, can get to it down the street. A pizzeria with MOST delightful pizza I've ever eaten (google for it Giotto pizzeria, not an ad 🙂) - always full of locals, get there, you will not regret that. Hotel owners started big renewal indoors after our checkout so it doesn't seem to worth writing about our experience
