Great location, 10 minute walk from the train station and on the edge of the historic city of Parma.

Staff not very friendly. On arrival the receptionist said I didn't have a reservation, and when she found mine, she added "Oh, you made a reservation through Booking.com" as if that was bad.

location is great, walking distance to the train station, nearby has Esse and cafe room is old design but bed is comfort, need to inform them to turn the air conditioner to manual mode if you prefer your room to be colder staff is friendly , always receive warm welcome when i step in the hotel especially at night i checked out to another city for few days and when i'm back to Mercure the staff placed my luggage into my room without the hassle for me to carry it myself

My husband and I were greeted by a smiling and friendly front office lady name Feliciana, she was always pleasant and smiling, we appreciated that . Luxe toiletries was provided for in the bath Parking is possible nearby and cost 18€ per day overnight and the keys must be left with them. Location is very convenient. Thank you.

There was a young lady at the reception when we checked out. I find her not so helpful as when I passed her a slip to get my cooler bag, she just ignored me. I asked her again and she just ignored me as I wanted to repack quickly before driving off. How disappointing at her attitude. This is a hospitality industry, perhaps she should consider working with computers ! Thank you.

Overall, the hotel location, central to places of interest and a short walking distance from the rail station. Accommodation was 5* - we had a balcony on 2 sides, table & chairs to relax with breakfast or at the end of the day. Very spacious room and clean. The breakfast food was fantastic - lots of choice and would accommodate all guests. Milk wasn't available in our room - this was easy obtain by the receptionist. So thank you to her. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be back again.

Despite specifically informing the front desk during check-in that I intended to pay in cash, the payment was charged to my credit card without my consent. During check-out, I was told that if I paid in cash, the card charge would be refunded within 2-4 weeks, which I wasn’t informed of at check-in. This lack of transparency was frustrating, as I expected clear communication regarding payment options upon arrival.

Located very close to all the attractions in Parma and very easy to get around. Breakfast was very good and he room was comfortable. Everything was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful with tips on where to spend your time during the visit. Free umbrellas could be borrowed. Some interesting historical information in the lobby.

Parking was a bit on the expensive side at 18 euros a night and the hotel is located just inside the edge of the ZTL zone. The decor needs an update, as it's a bit gaudy. Fixtures in the bathroom (shower heads) were leaky.

Very close to Parma´s Cathedral and old square. There´s a parking lot just outside the hotel that you can pay $18 euros per night (you need to leave the keys with the parking guy). Lots of restaurants nearby too. Bathroom was updated but the room is antique and very big. we liked. Breakfast was disappointing though

breakfast was not up to a mercure standard although they had quite a variety of things, the coffee, milk and tea were just awful

The hotel was very nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Location is amazing. Parking was very easy! Breakfast was great and a very pretty hotel.

The WiFi is absolutely terrible and almost non-usable by any standard. Disappointing for today's day and age. The temp controls are terrible to use. Rooms are hot. Outside noise is abundant but this is what happens for a primo location so be aware if you are a sensitive sleeper. We were fine, but we are from New York City! Aside from the internet extreme fail and temp control, I would definitely recommend.

Great hotel in Parma with very friendly staff. Rooms a little dated but beds comfortable and the rooms a good size with bathrooms also a decent size and overall quite clean. Each room had a balcony which was a nice touch. Easy walk from hotel into town for restaurants, shopping, etc. Safe and secure parking underground with an attendant which was great.

Showers leaked slightly under the doors but otherwise no concerns.

Location, design of the reception, new shower and staff in the bathroom, fridge in the room. And the service. The square “Piazza della Pace” in the 50meters from the hotel in the night time. They are in the center but they have even own parking slots.

More the one day we couldn’t find how to switch off the ventilation in the bathroom. Mattress Cover. It is waterproof and my husband was totally wet in the mid of the night. (I understand why the hotel needs such covers. But it was uncomfortable)
