We tried our luck and asked for an early check-in since we were rocking up before noon (even though check-in was at 3 PM). The hotel said, “We’ll see what we can do,” and guess what? They pulled through! Room ready, no extra charge, legends. The staff were friendlier than your nan on Christmas morning, the location was ridiculously convenient (5-minute stroll from the airport and under 10-minute drive to Therme Spa), and the room? Big enough to swing a reindeer in, with a bathroom to match. Loved every minute, would totally crash here again!

The bacon at breakfast? Let’s just say it felt like I was chewing on a rubber band. Definitely not the crispy, mouthwatering delight I was hoping for!

The proximity to the airport of 3 minutes by foot is the main reason we chose this accommodation. Staff was very kind.

Hotel restaurant and cafe prices more expensive than abroad (4 euros for one espresso). The room was a bit small and dusty, towels were clean but looked old. Bathroom sink was draining very very slowly. Given the price and star rating of this hotel, these aspects are unsatisfactory.

hotel was realy clean and located in a good location if you choose like us to go to Therma everyday but not to the city centre.

I did not like the food in the restaurant .It is too expensive and what we choose are tasteless. But open buffet breakfast was realy good. I have choose this hotel which is close to the Therma where i intend to go everyday. It is walking distance from the airport but there were no any sound disturbing from the departing or lamding flights maybe the windows were perfectly sound proof. Or relatively far from the runways I donot know.

Literally 2 min walking from the airport. A great place to spend the night before a flight. Parking garage in the hotel's basement. The most amazing front desk staff I ever met. With a very polite and caring attitude, despite our noisy kids, Cristi and Alexandra helped us get the best room arrangement possible and patiently fulfilled all our requests. Impeccable cleanliness and quality of room interior as expected by default from Hilton. Luggage trolleys were conveniently stacked next to the lobby, which I used to roll our 3 massive suitcases all the way from the hotel room to the check-in desk at the airport without any significant effort..

No kids corner, though it's understandable that the hotel is more optimized for use by business customers.

I traveled with my husband and we stayed here for one night. ROOM: Our room was very comfortable, pretty big and with lots of space for our luggage and other stuff. The temperature was pleasant. The AC system worked very well. Although the hotel is at the airport, it was very peaceful and quiet in the room. BED: The bed was great for us, very comfortable and big. BREAKFAST: We had an early flight in the morning so we didn't opt for breakfast. SURROUNDINGS: The hotel is located at the airport and it takes just a few minutes to reach the terminal, which was very convenient for us and a main reason why we chose it among other hotels. We loved the bar with a nice terrace. On the terrace there was some noise from the airport, but in the room it was very quiet. COMMUNICATION: The check-in went smoothly and without any problems. The wifi was okay.

The shower door didn't seal well, so after showering there was water on the floor and under the toilet. Everything else was great.

Hilton Garden Inn is a great place to stay at Bucharest Otopeni Airport. It is a 15 min walk to the airport so if you are departing Bucharest or have just arrived , this property is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The staff is especially helpful. Marius, Christian and Alexandra at the front desk are outstanding staff members. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Michal at the bar and Alexander in the dining room are great guys and do an exceptionally good job of looking after guests. I have found the housekeeping staff to also be very efficient and kind as well. I have visited Hilton Garden Inn multiple times over the last couple of years and become familiar with this property and staff so have a special loyalty to this place.

My only criticism of this property is food prices have increased considerably making dining quite expensive. The food however qualitatively is very good.

The hotel was on par with all the other hotels in the Hilton chain that I've stayed in.

The hotel is within walking distance of airport Arrivals. However, I arrived in the dark and there was no obvious path to the hotel and no signage, so I had to find someone to ask. The car park you have to walk through is unlit and I was chased by two stray dogs. Luckily, someone heard my shouts, scared away the dogs and helped me to the hotel. As a solo female traveller, I advice you to get a taxi.

The hotel was walking distance to and from the airport literally 5mins. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Being so close to the airport I thought it would be noisy, but it was so quiet. The snow on the ground made the trip even more magical ( being from the UK we don't really get much snow) the staff were very helpful and slightly amused when I asked for a carrot to build a snowman 🤣 they even provided some coffee beans for a mouth. We spent the day at therme spa which is a 10min bolt ride from the hotel. Perfect location for us and the bolt service to the city centre is affordable.

The bed mattresses were too firm for me and by the end of our trip I had a bad back, but could be personal preference.
