We tried our luck and asked for an early check-in since we were rocking up before noon (even though check-in was at 3 PM). The hotel said, “We’ll see what we can do,” and guess what? They pulled through! Room ready, no extra charge, legends. The staff were friendlier than your nan on Christmas morning, the location was ridiculously convenient (5-minute stroll from the airport and under 10-minute drive to Therme Spa), and the room? Big enough to swing a reindeer in, with a bathroom to match. Loved every minute, would totally crash here again!

The bacon at breakfast? Let’s just say it felt like I was chewing on a rubber band. Definitely not the crispy, mouthwatering delight I was hoping for!

The proximity to the airport of 3 minutes by foot is the main reason we chose this accommodation. Staff was very kind.

Hotel restaurant and cafe prices more expensive than abroad (4 euros for one espresso). The room was a bit small and dusty, towels were clean but looked old. Bathroom sink was draining very very slowly. Given the price and star rating of this hotel, these aspects are unsatisfactory.

hotel was realy clean and located in a good location if you choose like us to go to Therma everyday but not to the city centre.

I did not like the food in the restaurant .It is too expensive and what we choose are tasteless. But open buffet breakfast was realy good. I have choose this hotel which is close to the Therma where i intend to go everyday. It is walking distance from the airport but there were no any sound disturbing from the departing or lamding flights maybe the windows were perfectly sound proof. Or relatively far from the runways I donot know.

The hotel was walking distance to and from the airport literally 5mins. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Being so close to the airport I thought it would be noisy, but it was so quiet. The snow on the ground made the trip even more magical ( being from the UK we don't really get much snow) the staff were very helpful and slightly amused when I asked for a carrot to build a snowman 🤣 they even provided some coffee beans for a mouth. We spent the day at therme spa which is a 10min bolt ride from the hotel. Perfect location for us and the bolt service to the city centre is affordable.

The bed mattresses were too firm for me and by the end of our trip I had a bad back, but could be personal preference.

Breakfast was nothing special.

Everywhere was clean and tidy. Towels replaced daily on a 3 night trip. Hotel reception has a small shop for essentials like breakfast drinks and snacks with some souveniers to buy. There was a small fridge in our room which was useful. Bathroom big and shower pressure was good. 5 min walk from airport. Good links to city centre and THERME spa if youre going there. Buses directly from the airport every 20/30 minutes. Restaurant looked nice but we didnt use it. No noise from the airport or planes overhead. Must have quadruple glazing.

We had an issue with the room heating on first night it was too hot and we hardly slept. We reported this to reception and they advised someone would be there to fix it. Nobody came but we managed to fix it ourselves. And our window was locked so had no choice but to keep going outside for some air. Pillows on the soft side so didnt sleep well and USB ports next to bed did not work to charge phones.

I recently stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Bucarest airport and had a mixed experience. While the location is undoubtedly fantastic, there were a few aspects that could use improvement. Pros: The hotel is perfectly situated, making it easy to access from the airpor and to transport links. It is easy reachable from the Departures entrance of the airport. The rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable, offering a pleasant environment for relaxation. Also I love the lighting and the gym. I love you have many electricity spots. I loved the size of the bathroom. Cons: Unfortunately, I found the staff to be quite unfriendly. They didn't responded in a bad way but the smiles where not for free. Like working in automatic. The breakfast, while offering a variety of options, was overpriced. 100% Recommended.

We had the most amazing stay here, it’s super close to the airport only a 6/7 minute walk away. It was very clean and the staff were all very friendly and nice. I was coming here for a surprise trip for my boyfriend’s birthday and sent a message to the hotel to ask if they could do something special for the occasion. When we arrived to the room they had gone above a beyond filling it with balloons and a lovely happy birthday balloon banner! It was more than I expected and was so grateful for them doing this. Everything we wanted to do was a close drive away from the hotel too, overall it was a great stay!

Location, location, location. Good hotel, cleanliness, comfort. Silent despite of close proximity to the airport runway. This is due to double windows. Large, clean bath, large, clean room with modern design, comfortable bed, pleasant bedsheets.

The ventilation is set to function by default even if you stop the air conditioning. You cannot open at all the window. I would have appreciated very much to be able to air the room opening the windows and to be able to stop the continuous airflow which makes the room drafty during night. In the previous years they provided airport transfer by minibus, now inexistent. Prices for food and bevarages are ridiculous!!! As in the airport. For example a self made tea in the lobby 25 lei (5 EUR), or a ready-made chocolate croissant 7 days 20 lei (4 EUR).
