Bruno was an exceptional host. You can tell that this man has a master's degree in hospitality! From the second we arrived, Bruno was extremely accommodating - he provided us with information about the area we were staying in, fixed our room for us to have another bed, and even provided us with breakfast when we had not included it in our booking. It has been hard for us as two girls in our 20s to be traveling around Italy by ourselves. We have felt very uncomfortable for various reasons at every other accommodation we have stayed and honestly arrived in Florence feeling very deflated and waiting to go home to Australia. This B&B completely changed our attitude and we felt really at home!!! It is extremely safe, there was great air-con and a TV, and in an amazing location (2 min walk to a tram which is 3 stops/5min from Firenze SMN). THANK YOU BRUNO!

Absolutely beautiful! The kitchen was large and had lots of pots, pans, and other cooking equipment so we were able to make dinner & lunch. Breakfast was lovely and filled with lots of options, rooms were big and spacious - perfect for larger groups of friends or family. Little outdoor area was a perfect way to start our mornings. Fantastic location, literally a 3 minute walk from the closest tram stop which takes you to the central part of Florence. Marco was a sensational host, very kind, communicative, and always available to help with any requests we had regarding the accomodation & also made fantastic recommendations for our visit to Florence (e.g., where the closest super market is located). Rooms were also air-conditioned and had a lovely bathroom with lots of room. The cleaning service was also great, shout out to Marco and Bruno leaving our room and the kitchen sparkling clean! Unbeatable price for what you get, I highly recommend this accomodation.

We were guests at B&B L'olivo for 7 days at the beginning of this month. From the beginning I want to thank Bruno and Marco for the way they welcomed us and made us feel like family. They take care that everything is clean and orderly. They help you solve any problem and any information you ask for has an answer. The location is in a quiet area, away from the noise of the city and tourists (but still close to the Cathedral - only a 20-minute walk) and there are plenty of restaurants and pizzerias nearby. I must mention the terrace and the little garden. It's a dream. When I was there, the jasmine was blooming. In the cool of the morning, the aroma of coffee mingled with the smell of jasmine, and the coffee served there was a good sign for a new day of visiting Florence. Thank you Bruno, thank you Marco. Everyone at B&B l’Olivo was so sweet and accommodating. Bruno and Marco are very pleasant people! We also enjoyed the location. If you’re coming from the Santa Novella Station, it’s only a 18 minutes walk. The property is next to a park that’s nice to chill at after a long day of exploring Florence. Additionally, the breakfast was great. I love the fruit and food that was provided. There’s also a nice patio space to get fresh air.

Bruno was an amazing and very responsive host! He messaged us asking if we needed anything, provided us with food recommendations, and helped us figure out laundry on his day off. The B&B was very clean and had a cozy atmosphere. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The only downside is that the location is a little farther away from the main city center. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

We loved Marco and Bruno, they were great host. Breakfast was simple and great! The room was spacious and well taken care of! The property was gorgeous and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again! I already miss Florence!

Only thing that I didn’t love was that the mosquitoes formed a sort of mafia in the back yard making it quite dangerous lol. But really it was not a big deal! Plus Marco allowed us to use the washer so it made up for it!

The location was great. We could walk to the city center and the train station. Also, the staff was very welcoming and Marco shared some very good recommendations. The kitchen area was quite big and incredibly clean. Overall the staff cleaned every day and was super friendly. They prepared the breakfast table for us with tea and coffee and biscuits, even though we didn't booked the breakfast. We visited during low-season and the price was more then reasonable. The room and the bathroom were in a good condition and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We highly recommend visiting this very well equiped apartment!

Amazing hospitality, could not ask for better. Every little detail was accommodated for, especially the breakfast items provided (restocked daily) and daily housekeeping. Tram stop is about a 3 min walk, but getting into the city centre by foot is also pretty easy (about a 25min walk). This place has a really warm vibe to it, I felt really comfortable here as a solo female traveler. Would recommend.

Only little suggestion would be a dish drying rack for the kitchen

The room and the common area were extremely clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were kind and always reachable via whatsapp. The breakfast was also cute and enough to let you start your day. (Although some salty options would be appreciated)

There is little noise isolation, so when someone is in the kitchen or someone is opening their doors, you can hear them. One last thing, the window handle in our room was really hard to move, and we couldnt open the window to air the room.

Garden terrace for breakfast, the option for self catered cooked breakfast or served continental breakfast. Room with good working AC. Bruno and Marco were both lovely. Not too close to the centre so nice and quiet at night, but not too far, easily walkable. Would definitely recommend.
