Room was ordinary with a small balcony in the courtyard. The location was ideal for us with about a 20 minute walk to the old town. We were able to park our car in the hotel courtyard at a cost that was the same or lower than the surrounding parking garages. Breakfast was great considering the cost of €5 per person (which I have never experienced in a hotel of this standard). In any case, Luca the breakfast waiter was in a class of his own. Thank you for that

Everything was ok for a 3 star hotel near the city center in Florence - no complaints

Hotel Panama is a smaller hotel in Florence, in which you feel like at home. Hotel is 22 to 25 minutes (walk) away from the city centre. The rooms are nice, in vintage fashion. The patio, or garden, is accessible for guests - there are two tables. Hotel also offers breakfast (for 5€) and you can get croissants, savoury breakfast, coffee, juice or water. Waiter is really nice and helpful. I was really glad that I chose this hotel for my stay in Florence.

The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was really small shower and shower head mounted on the wall - it would be better to have shower head on a hose :).

Very cozy place and personnel was very polite and helpful. Very big thumbs up for the man at the bar at the breakfast place. He was very kind, talkative and politely explained everything about the food etc. he asked many times if I have everything I needed which I also highly appreciate. Everyone who goes to this place should include breakfast here. :) Also location of the hotel is awesome as everything is close and you can go to the city center by walking. Also I am very happy that staff was fine with my late arrival and was able to give me instructions for the case I would arrive after 23:00.

The place was quite too warm (I was unable to turn down warming a bit) and also some walls in the room looked quite messy. But still, it was very nice place and comfortable to be there. For work travel it was enough.

Beds and decoration

Staff asked us to write down credit card details: card number, owner and exire date od card. Including CVC number from back side of the credit card. I undrstand hotel wants to cover it self in case of damage. But it kinda seems and feels wrong and scammy. There has to be a better way. After looking at form they gave us to fill and doubting for some time. One of the staff said its okey not to write CVC number.

The heater doesnt work (the staff told us) and they gave us extra blanket for it. The room isnt that cold for us so we dont use the extra blanket. They gave us free breaksfast for compensation. Near tram and bus stop.

The hotel has a very convenient location. It is close to the station and the center. The staff were extremely polite, responsive and smiling. The room was clean and well maintained. The necessary accessories were available and we recommend it.

Beautiful facilities, good location, friendly and attentive staff at front desk

The hot water tap had to run for several minutes for warm water. The “spa tub” did not operate at all. The tub was reported to staff, however, nothing was done to correct the issue.

The location was excellent, and the help from all the staff were really something, making us feel very welcome.

It wasn't really a big problem, but I missed breakfast.

Very short stay as we had to take the train next day. Check in was smooth, our room was perhaps upgraded, very spacious and quiet. All what we needed.

The product is a bit dated and I believe that with a renovation the hotel can really be next level! The ceiling had original wooden beams and the room was facing a lovely courtyards

This was a nice basic and reasonably priced hotel. It was very clean and quiet. Nothing to complain about.

I think one or two simple additions would improve the stay a lot, for example a kettle to make hot water.
