I have been a recurrent visitor of the hotel for quite a few years and I knew what to expect. The hotel is extremely close to the Sta Maria Novella Train Station and very close to the historical part of Florence ( which is actually the entire Florence :) Situated at a beginning of a narrow cobbled street it carries all that glory of a fading beauty yet offers comfortable accommodation at quite reasonable prices.

There is something wrong with the breakfast and the servicing staff for breakfast. I have never witnessed unattended tables before after people who had had breakfast and gone; there was no one to order coffee to and I am really grateful to a lady who popped out of the kitchen and had the mercy of providing me with espresso!

The location of this hotel is very convenient in terms of its proximity to the train station and its central location in the town. Even after the checkout, we could bring back a large amount of products we purchased in the city of Firenze. When we went to the station for departure from the city, we did not have to take much time to pick up our luggages and reach the station. Although the score in the Booking.com is not high, I felt a high cost performance and convenience to this hotel. The hotel staff in the front desk was helpful and kind. The hot water in the bath came very rapidly, strongly with sufficinet heat. This is a recommendable hotel in particular, to those who evaluate above menttioned points and cost perfornmace, and those who feel satisfactory once the basic needs are fulfilled.

The facilities are old. I would have been more comfortable if the room had more cozy circumstances. But I just stayed from th elate night to early morning, which dose not disccourage my option to select this hotel in the future.

The coffee is not so good and it would be good to have a decent Italian coffee? (sorry to be so honest) No cubical shower in my room (maybe in other rooms) Wifi is slow and would disconnect some times. Other than the above, ALL GOOD.

It's close to the station, in the station area. There is an elevator. It's a typical old European building. The room is spacious. The bathroom is also spacious. The staff were all kind and welcoming. It's old but clean. The breakfast is simple but enough to fill you up and was delicious. You can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out.

It's an old hotel, if you like modern style hotels you might not like this, but I like classic and old hotels so I liked it.

Good location if you need to be near S.M. Novella for train arrival and departure. Also near the Duomo, etc. Short walk to San Lorenzo and San Marco.

Carpet could use an upgrade, and while there is an elevator, on the fourth floor we still had to navigate two sets of stairs (one of only a few treads, the other much longer). I use a cane, so that was a bit of a pain.

Hotel in the city centre just a 10 minute walk from the cathedral and less than 5 minutes from the train station. A nice room which in those winter time with freezing temperatures outside was very cozy and heated up nicely. Couple of nice restaurants very close as well. The reception operates 24/7 so you can leave your keys in the hotel too without needing to worry about it.

The hotel is located in the city center and just a few minutes away walking from the main attractions. The area seemed safe and the parking is just a few meters away from the hotel entrance, indeed as it is a private parking is more expensive, it costs us 40 euros for 24 hours. The room is clean, and the AC worked great. The furniture is vintage, but everything was clean and comfortable. The reception is available until late in the night, which is great if you can not make it earlier. The breakfast was good, everything that you need, ham, cheese, croissants, yogurt, coffee and juice. We were happy with the service and the hotel, for a short stay in Florence it has a great location.

The hotel is located quite close to the train station. From here you can easily reach the main objectives of the city without needing public transport. Many restaurants, cafes, small shops near the hotel. Also, the hotel staff was very kind and nice.

Although Italy is famous for its coffee, the breakfast cappuccino is pretty bad. Better try a cup of tea for breakfast. You have enough places where you can serve a good coffee and an authentic cannoli.

Great location, 1 block from train station, and yet a bit away from the torrent of tourists, 15 min walk to the Domo. Friendly personnel, breakfast was simple but with options, front desk managed 24 hrs.

Bathroom was tiny, shower was really small, I am 5-6, 143, and could hardly move inside.

First of all, the room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and clean. We were able to leave our luggage early. The location is just a few minutes from the train station and very close to the historic center. The breakfast was adequate. We were quite pleased with the price.
