The staff were very helpful and friendly when we arrived and we were able to secure our luggage and go and make the most of the day as we arrived just before lunch. Very easy to find from the train station, it was literally a 5 minute walk and right on the main Piazza. Breakfast was nice and set us up for the day, and overall we had a pleasant stay.

We returned one evening and asked if we could get a couple of glasses of wine brought to the room. Unfortunately the member of staff dropped the tray of glasses next to our door which was not his fault clearly, thankfully he did not injure himself. The replacement glasses of wine took a very long time to arrive and by this time we were ready for bed. Update 20 May - The Hotel Manager has subsequently messaged me to apologise about this, and I feel the Hotel deserves much credit for this. They genuinely care about their guest experience - Thank you Enzo, that is customer care of the highest regard. I would certainly stay at your hotel again, and would recommend to friends and family.

The staff was kind, polite and very helpful. I felt like they really cared about me and were helpful without being at all upset by my very many questions. Breakfast was good. My room was clean and the shower was good. I stored my luggage and when I got back from my tour, the staff had placed my luggage in my room. Great!

The entryway was a little bit dark. I did not realize that the fridge was a mini bar. On the first day , I told them that some other people had left drinks in the fridge and they said oh that’s OK. So I thought they were available to drink. I drank two of them and then was asked upon checkout if I drank anything from the “ mini bar.” so although it’s a small thing, I would’ve bought my own at a store if I had known those weren’t just left. My room was small but ok.

Our room was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and quite spacious, with a window overlooking the piazza. The location is very good, on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, less than 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, and only 5 minutes walk to the train station. The neighborhood seemed very safe. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke fairly good English. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and drinks.

The only negative was that one of the shower doors was missing and they were still waiting for a replacement from the supplier, but we were able to handle that without too much difficulty.

Breakfast could have fresh whole meal bread and more fresh fruit choices .. the breakfast room was lovely and the staff very friendly . The reception were very helpful cheerful and professional. We loved the location, perfect for our trip and in the middle of everything so we could walk everywhere. The room was very clean and the furnishings very nice. Good quality and stylish.

The breakfast could have had more fruit selection and better fresh bread choice and gluten free. A gluten free eater needs more bread choices - would be nice to have hot bacon.

Location is perfect, next to an entrance to the train station and easy to walk (difficult for cars to reach). Breakfast was great, many options and made for a very easy morning. Room had everything I needed. Staff was exceptional. They gave great advice on places to eat, things to do, directions, etc.

I had a room that faced the piazza which made for a lot of noise at night. I didn't mind, but someone else might. Some of the room appliances were functional, but a little dated (hair dryer worked fine but was old, safe took a key and not a code)

I really liked that there was a friendly person at the desk at all times. The location is perfect, all major sights are within 15 min walk. 5 min from the train station. It is clean, friendly, beautiful, comfortable, modern amenities, all around great.

The breakfast is great, except the little wrapped portions of butter, jam, and cheese. I would rather have a big chunk of butter, a jar of jam with a spoon, and a chunk of cheese, from which I take a piece. The wrappings clutter my table and are annoying. But that is just me.

The staff is incredible. It's a family owned business and they took very good care of me. They are very kind helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room and patio is pleasant. Location is very convenient and in a piazza with restaurants and a beautiful historic church. My room was comfortable

There is no lobby only a small seating area

It was an easy walk to and from the train station, but it feels separated from the transportation center because it is located in a nice open piazza. Everything was clean and comfortable in the room. Staff was welcoming and the breakfast area was right above the street so you could people watch in the morning! I think I actually prefer this location to something closer to the duomo, as it was still in a beautiful square, but was a bit more peaceful and separate from all of the action.

Breakfeast was great, we actually did not need any more food till the evening. The location is excellent, 5 minutues from most attractions plus the fact that the tram to/back to the airport was a mere 3 minute walk. Additionally, the train station was only 5 minutes away (we actually visited Siena using the train for one day with no problem). We had such a lovely stay in the hotel that if we were ever to return to Florence again we would certainly choose this hotel again. The beds were very comfortable and clean. To sum it all up, we had a wonderful week in Florence.

The location was amazing! The service was very quick and thorough. I enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was also very decent with various options. I want to highlight one staff member Tauland (I might be wrong with the spelling). He was present our first day and really helped us and gave us a lot of recommendations! Big thanks to Tauland from Georgians!
