Great location . Just walk from train station. Clean , safe and quiet . Near halal shops . Love the design and the hospitality. Everything function well. WiFi strong. Booking 2 rooms for two night. Highly recommended. Will come again.

Our plan was to visit Florence in the summer, and to run away from the heat and exhaustion, we wanted our place to be super close to the known landmarks and gastronomy locations, which went successful. The room was very clean, the staff were very responsible and friendly, the air conditioner worked perfectly, the bathroom was clean and the soaps, shampoo, slippers, ... are provided. They have good breakfast and they kindly serve eggs and bacon on demand, plus the croissants were delicious, the room is unexpectedly soundproof and we had good sleep during the nights, I connected my phone to the room’s TV to watch things on YouTube. All and all, we stayed for four nights, and I would recommend it to everybody who wants to find a traditional place up to the standards.

The location was very good. Everything was within walking distance, 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral. We initially came by car and could leave the car in the parking lot under the train station, as a permit is required to enter the old town. The hotel was a 10-minute walk from the train station. There was also a good tram connection to the airport, which takes about 20 minutes. The hotel staff was helpful. The hotel has a small elevator, which you can take one at a time. The street noise could be heard in the room, but if you use earplugs, you can't hear it. There was free water in the room, which is a nice addition. Good value for money.

This is a wonderful hotel, very close to the centre and there are lots of restaurants etc nearby. Spoilt for choice. The room was large and spacious, and they were very helpful, allowing us to keep our bicycles in the room, but we did have to carry them to the 1st floor. There are steps at the entrance up to the reception. The room and bathroom were clean, and the room had a fridge with bottled water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and the lady cooks you fresh bacon and eggs if you want them. There was choice off continental, croissants and cakes as well as tea, coffee & juices.

Absolutely nothing

The location for proximity to things was great! Not at all far from the train station and only a few minutes walk to the Duomo. The room was very clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. All in all, I found it charming and would stay again.

While it can't be helped because it is a very old building, the street is quite loud at times. So, just know that if you are a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs. The shower was super tiny. My husband compared it to an RV shower saying it was even smaller. He is 6' 180lbs for reference. Also, as I believe they say in their description, there are about 19 steps that you will need to carry your bag up and then down again.

Easy check in and comfortable room. It was a bit strange that room 1 was on the second level by room 14, but we were given directions at the front desk. Staff were nice and we were able to leave our bags when we arrived early.

We had the sign on the door asking not to disturb because we did not need anything, but they still came in and cleaned, which I found odd. Typically, that sign means you do not want staff in your room.

Lovely wee hotel very close to the station and in a lively part of the city with plenty of quality restaurants locally. It recognises the historical past but has excellent modern facilities especially air conditioning and a well designed walk in shower room. Breakfast was good. The staff were really helpful and very friendly! They really made the stay special so thank you.

The steps to get to reception on the first floor are difficult with my limited accessibility but ok to manage by taking time. The hotel advised me in advance and the gentleman on reception carried my case up and down!

The central location was excellent, and made exploring Florence for me and my partner very easy, considering that we only had a few days there. All the staff at the hotel were beyond kind and helpful, and made us feel very welcome! Breakfast was very generous and fresh. Overall, Hotel Nizza was the perfect place to rest and recharge while experiencing Florence.

Noise from the street could be sometimes heard through the windows, however this cannot really be avoided with a central location in a city, so it's important to be realistic! This would die-down around 11pm each night as people went home, so it didn't bother us much.

Since my suitcase was heavy, I looked for a hotel with an elevator and close to the station. It was within a 5-minute walk from the station. It was about a 5-minute walk to the Duomo in Florence. It was a very good location because the bar district was close and there was everything around. However, there were stairs to the hotel front desk on the second floor. The two people who seemed to be the owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I left my luggage as soon as I arrived. They said I could use the shower if I wanted. When I said I wanted to eat delicious pizza for dinner, they introduced me to a restaurant very close to the hotel. The pizzeria had polite staff that were the same as in Japan, they were very friendly, and the pizza was very delicious! They introduced me to a good restaurant. They also showed me the way to the restaurant outside the hotel. That night, the bed was comfortable, but I couldn't sleep because of the noise of drunk people outside until around 4 a.m. However, the hotel's service and location were very good. I had a good stay. The hotel is close to the train station and the old city center. The room was very clean, the breakfast was good. We didn’t have an issue with the stairs (we knew about them from the booking time) - for us, taking the stairs helped to burn a few calories from the great food we had in Florence :)
