The room looked like in the picture, with old furniture, high ceilings, large windows. The AC worked greatly, and silently. Julia sent us daily recommendations for things to do in town, and even handled our trip back to the airport since we had to leave super early. The location is very central and gets you anywhere in minutes by foot.

The street is busy at night - with the trash truck coming around at 3.30 am - and the old windows can't handle it. Bring ear plugs! For some reason the towel rack spilled water, and at some point we couldn't get hot water, which got fixed during the day. The cleaner left their cleaning cloth in the room every day...

1. The property is at walkable distance from Station 2. it’s very clean and well maintained 3. Location is awesome, Duomo is just few mins of walk from the property 4. There are quite a few number of restaurants and cafes close by this property at a walking distance 5. Host was awesome, she gave suggestions on restaurants, shopping stores etc. It was quite easy for us to choose our breakfast, lunch, dinner spots. Her suggestions were spot on. It’s like having a local person telling you best places to eat and shop 6. Room was quite large enough for a couple.

It’s not a negative rather a constraint I would say. Since the property is at the Historic Center in an Old Building. There is no lift. so you have to carry your luggage to the 3rd floor using staircase

The room was very large compared with other places that we stayed. The location was excellent as we felt very safe and there was shopping and restaurants very close. The host was exceptionally attentive and helpful.

The room is on the third floor which actually means fourth floor. There isn’t a lift so you have to climb up 100 steps to get to your floor (equivalent to 7 floors in most countries). The AC’s were not strong enough to cool the room down and it was uncomfortable to sleep initially. The host sent someone to the room to check on the AC and adjust, but it didn’t help much. The host said they were going to address the AC’s.

Excellent room, comfortable & inviting. The location is outstanding; very central but relatively quiet. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable. The communication with the host was exceptional. She is friendly, happy to help, kind and highly responsive. With her clear instructions, I was able to easily locate and access the room.

For what I normally pay - this was an expensive stay; however, I was not disappointed. The price is reflected in the quality of the room and service. So I guess this is just Florence. Also worth mentioning is lack of elevator, which was not an issue at all for me but might be for some. The rooms are on the 2rd floor.

The room was spacious and easy walking distance from train station. It was very close to major sites as well. Big bathroom plenty of room and had all we required. Check in was a breeze and we were able to store our luggage until check in which helped a lot after early arrival.

Only downfall was room was on 3rd floor with no lift so a bit of an effort lugging heavy suitcases upstairs but not unusual in these old buildings and we were aware of this before we booked so no big deal.

Julia was a wonderful hostess - very responsive to questions and helpful in providing lots of recommendations of places to go and things to see. We were fortunate to be offered an upgrade as Julia had had a cancellation and the suite we stayed in was very spacious.

We knew we'd have to climb stairs but didn't appreciate quite how many! We found the electrical power sockets a bit confusing as most of them wouldn't take our adapters. Fortunately, there was an extension lead which was compatible.

Very large room. Nice location. Short walk to train station and Duomo area. Very clean and comfortable bed. Good shower once got used to all the option . Refrigerator and coffee machine. The instructions to get into the room and keys were pretty easy to follow. I used access code to get in more than keys because easier. But good to have keys for main door and private room. Please note there is not on property staff but Julia was easy to contact via Bookings and what’s app. So if you have phone access good to go.

It is on third floor. But not so bad if you don’t have a lot of luggage. Expensive but good price for Florence and its location to everything.

Our host gave great suggestions via whatapp. Even during the heat wave the portable aircon did the job. Clean and comfortable. Great location and host easy to contact.

My only suggestions would be to have extra pillows in cupboard. Ours were a little flat. And a bucket available for us to empty aircon water. As this needed to be done quite regularly.

Fantastic location and very easy to reach from the railway station. Julia provided really good information about the apartment and helped us with luggage storage on arrival. The facilities are very good and the apartment is spacious.

Not a problem for us, but there are 98 steps up to the apartment. Worth doing for an extra gelato.

The property was really comfortable with a lovely shower and bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the suite I had was very roomy. There was no elevator, so I had to schlep my bag up to the third/fourth floor. It may not be that user-friendly for an older person, but the location is unbelievable. It’s right in the heart of all of the chichi high-end stores where fashion oriented folk would love to shop. And there’s also a lot of great restaurants and bars around and I would highly recommend it other than the elevator issue.
