Very easy location for the tourist sites. Ceiling fan and good shutters to help with the temperature. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Incredibly good value for money if you don't mind not having the luxuries. More hostel-like than hotel.

Reception only open 9am to 5pm and no one there outside those times. Rooms not really serviced so no option for clean towels if needed and we had to grab some spare loo roll from the communal bathroom. It's really noisy as it is above a bar and opposite a bar.

Perfect location, walking distance to everything. I booked it in the morning, we arrived late afternoon, when the reception was already closed. But I received the email with all the directions on how to get in the room. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The room doesn’t have air conditioning, it can be very hot at night. There is a ceiling fan in the room, which helps a little. I didn’t mind, but if you prefer sleeping in a cooler room, maybe you’ll have a hard time.

Location was superb within walking distance of all the main sights enabling us to see the highlights of Florence in the afternoon we had before our onward morning journey. We received a lovely warm welcome and local information with the detailed map provided by the receptionist which was really appreciated. Also shower was great and fam is the room helpful in the warmth.

Some small fixes would further enhance e.g. one wobbly tile on the floor.

It was pretty close to center and there was a nice common area that you can hang out/work during the day. The room was also warm, we generally have to deal with cold rooms while traveling so its a plus.

I don’t know if they have other options but our bathroom was excluded from the room and was near the common area (bathroom was private to us). I would like it to be in the room as its not so comfortable walking from bathroom to the room after taking a shower. The most important is they don’t store your luggage after the check out so we had to give it to a storing luggage center for the day ,which costed us a lot.

The room was fantastic overall, it was definitely worth the money! The bedsheets, blanket, floor and bathroom were all perfectly clean. The smart TV was also a bonus!

The room was smelling at times probably due to lack of ventilation but it was no problem after some time of entering the room. Another thing that could be improved was the quality of the mattress of the bed. It could've been a bit more comfortable.

The location is extraordinary very close to the central station and there are grocery stores and a pharmacy nearby. The room was very clean and the whole building is very authentic. There was a kettle and some coffe&tea options in the room. I absolutely loved it! The room was facing the main street so I didn't get bored. Everything was really good. I think I would stay here next time.

We can leave our luggages in the reception but since it's self check-in there is actually not a real luggage storage. So I didn't leave my backpack.

very good location, a five minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and from the city historical centre with all the monuments and points of interest. The structure is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful

the price was a bit high for a room in a démodé style with an external bathroom (private, though). however it was comfortable and I slept well. I appreciated the inclusion of an anti-mosquito tab.

This hotel is rated as one or two stars which means that facilities are very sparse, however we found it a comfortable base to use for our forays into the surrounding regions of Florence. Everything was very clean, and we liked the beds. The bathroom was very good. We had good WiFi which let us plan our day-tours over the internet.

The kitchen was basic, so we ended up eating out more than normal. No TV, but we didn't have the time anyway. What we disliked for my poor elderly knees were the 72 steps up to the apartment.

It's an older structure just around the corner from Santa Maria Novella, very authentic which is just what I wanted. Extremely central and perfect for me who just wanted to get everywhere quick, and not spend a lot of time at my room but rather in the beautiful city of Florence! Staff was very helpful as well!

There was no cleaning and no towels or sheets were replaced during my stay. As the bathroom is shared, the cleanliness also depends on other guests, and their assistance is not a given!

Great Location, close to station and other attractions. Nice clean surroundings and safe neighborhoods . Staff is friendly and helped to arrange a microwave. Also allowed extra hour for checkout. Close to Indian restaurants and wash and dry laundry place.

Street noise from people having fun outside on the street. Have to take stairs to get to the room. Ceiling are high so lot of stairs to get to two floors . So make sure there is no heavy luggage to carry up.
