The staff were incredible and so helpful when I lost my passport. The room was clean and comfortable.

The air conditioning wouldn't turn on because it wasn't the season and it was 80 degrees outside!

Lovely older hotel in an excellent position to explore all that Florence has to offer. Lovely owners and staff who looked after us very well.

The hotel has a wonderful location within walking distance of Florence's iconic buildings and the terminal. We checked into our hotel very comfortably, and our room also had a lovely, spacious balcony. They assisted us with everything (they marked and explained the places to visit on a map and allowed us to leave our luggage there for a while when we were leaving the hotel). The hotel is also very stylishly decorated in a way that reminds you that you are in Florence. Our trip to Florence holds a beautiful place in our memories.

We didn't have much time, but maybe there could be longer sitting permits for the shared terrace or balcony. It would have been nice to spend some time there if we had the time.

Location was fabulous: half way between the Duomo and Santa Maria Novella Basilica, and 10 minutes from the Unita tram stop from the airport. Short, interesting 15 minute walk south to the Arno, Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi Gallery. Couldn't as for much better. The was not large but I never intended my room to be a destination. I was there to experience Florence, not a hotel room. Given that, my expectations and needs were met. A great breakfast was offered but, since I started my days early, I chose to have breakfast at a variety of places close to sites I was visiting. The staff, including Daniela and Guido, were always there, friendly, and helpful.

I cannot think of anything that was negative enough to warrant a comment.

Location is so perfect! We were traveling for a wedding and had activities scheduled all around Florence, as well as tourist activities we wanted to do. This was the perfect location to accomplish everything! The staff was so friendly and helpful. They had a steamer for us to use on our wedding clothes. It felt truly like a well run family business.

If I had to complain, I'd say the hair dryer in the bathroom could be updated. I don't use a hair dryer often and I actually liked the old built in style that they had but the day I needed it, it was going on and off with some of my movements and I couldn't quite figure out how to get it stay on steadily. Maybe my own misunderstanding of the type though!

Lovely smaller private hotel in an excellent central location, with a terrace for sitting out in the heat. Very helpful staff, the wife gave excellent recommendations of places to go and eat on my own

Minor point ...I love sitting outside, and I booked here because of the terrace, which I did use a few times for having breakfast or a glass of wine. But it was always closed / locked, so I had to open up myself and close up after myself, which was a bit of a faff. The terrace is a lovely feature, not sure why more people did not use it!

The location is perfect, close to the train station (5 minute walk) and to the duomo and other attractions, no need to get a taxi or Uber anywhere. The staff was kind always and allowed us to keep our luggage there after check out time. Nice reception and lounge area. Also the terrace is great with a parcial view of the duomo.

Only one out of the three employees form reception knew English and that made communication a bit difficult at times. (Because they take turns to be at the reception so maybe the only person at reception doesn’t speak English). The other aspect that could improve is to facilitate access to the terrace, there was a red sign that gave the impresion that it was closed and after asking at reception I understood it was open but they kept the door shut and your were not allowed to eat.

PERFECT location- wow. Hotel was *spotlessly* clean, bed was comfortable, good shower temperature and pressure. Staff were amazing. So helpful. They were able to recommend a few non-touristy places for dinner.

The walls are paper thin - not sure if we just had extra noisy neighbours but we could hear everything. Spoke to the staff but not much they can do if guests don’t care. Bring earplugs.

Very nice place in a perfect position for both business or leisure trips. Quick access from the train station but also car access is possible ( garage nearby). Extremely welcoming staff( family owned and run) . Clean, quiet, confy bed, spacious room recently renovated.

Lovely place in the heart of Florence. Walkable to all the major sights and countless restaurants. The husband and wife running the place were exceedingly kind and helpful. Chose property bc of good reviews on ability to arrange nearby ZTL parking, and I wasn't disappointed: after dropping bags on busy one lane, one way street, owner intercepted me on second pass around block with quick and perfect directions to nearby garage with hotel partnership and kind service. Able to leave bags several hours on checkout day. Perfect stay.
