Nice boutique hotel. Well located close to the train station...walking distance. Friendly helpful staff. Fresh ample breakfast in the room. Ordered more than once...loved tge fresh fruit and pasteries and good coffee.

shower leaked in our particular room....I noticed another person complained about the same problem back in 2019...and here we are 5 years later and the problem wasnt fixed. Pretty much the shower door is not aligned or the installed the runners incorrectly so the door doesnt close properly. Also theres not much space in the bathroom to put stuff out. Overall a decent comfortable hotel. Signage of hotel could be bigger as we walked around for a bit until we found it.

Reception staff very friendly, comfortable room and a pleasant lobby area. The bar was nice and so was the barman. Breakfast was varied. The hotel is in a great location: easy to get to from the airport (20 min by tram) and right in the centre, – everything was walkable for us.

Both mornings we were there, it was clear the breakfast room couldn't accommodate the number of guests staying. On the first morning, we arrived for breakfast as others were leaving so didn't have to wait. On the second morning, however, we had a 10 minute wait and then a makeshift table was set up outside the breakfast room (and, somewhat awkwardly, next to a staircase). The staff were pleasant and apologetic about it, but there probably needs to be a better system for catering to all guests at breakfast.

Fantastic position, piazza Santa Maria Novella, 400 yards from tram stop to Airport. 10 mons walk to Duomo. Beautiful 16th century building. My room, with balcony overlooking the piazza, and Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, had a painted ceiling! Also delightfully eccentric. Metal trees in the lounge atrium, Marvel superheroes scattered around. Nice to see a life size Batman figure near the lift, and Alfred his butler, by the bar! Personally, I really liked that. Good breakfast. Free mineral water, replaced every day. Reasonable size room, though not really a junior suite. Nice bathroom, good towels, good quality sheets. Excellent, friendly staff. Reasonable price

Breakfast could be crowded, as the hotel also serves another hotel, with an entrance at the rear. My French windows overlooking the piazza were double glazed, but no net curtains, so if you opened the windows, to let in light, you needed to be dressed! The coffee station was instant only, these days I would expect Nespresso or similar. Could have done with a sofa, or more comfortable chair.

Location, decor, professional and attentive staff. Excellent bartender, spacious rooms with great view, amenities and proper dark curtains. Very quiet.

The king (or queen I forgot) bed was made of two separate mattresses, so if you’re in the middle trying to cuddle, one person will be stuck in the crack and therefore uncomfortable. I wish we had a choice of pillows as ours were both quite firm. I notified the staff of a shower leak as well that was rather annoying as it filled the bathroom floor with water (stepped in it by mistake and the feeling of wet socks isn’t the best). I did notify the staff of this last detail so I hope they’ll fix it because other than these, I’m looking forward coming back for my next trip to Florence!

Clean, well serviced, top quality products. Friends staff, always greeting us when we came in and out of the building. Lovely foyer area. Great character :) great location, so close to train station!

Old building, so can hear people above you. That’s just how it is, most buildings are like this. Didn’t change the vibe of our stay :)

Breakfast was excellent and the location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. We also loved the excellent nearby highly recommended restaurants. I would stay here again.

The room temperature was controlled by the hotel. We found the room very hot at night. I woke up with MAJOR mosquito bites on my face! We asked for a fan that was delivered right away.

Very friendly staff and warm welcome. Clean hotel, clean rooms, very comfortable bed and a selection of pillows. The list of suggested restaurants is a nice touch and the restaurants that we visited on the list were very good.

The only criticism would be that even with all the lights on in the room it was still dark and the light switches were a little bit temperamental and confusing. Drilling and renovation works could be heard from 8am coming from the building next door but this cannot be helped by the hotel.

Breakfast was great!! There was a lot to pick from and it was all good. I loved the decor. The indoor patio was so pretty. We always felt appreciated and we appreciated all the hotel staff. We all hope we get to return someday.

Fantastic location so close to everything. We were lucky enough to get a large room with a balcony overlooking the square watching the coming and going’s felt a part of Florence . Staff are lovely and so much effort went into making up our room

Nothing I didn’t want to leave

Prime location near SMN train station, yet still very quiet inside day & night. The lobby is beautifully decorated, tranquil. Highlight was breakfast- I've traveled a lot and for the nightly rate this was one of the best hotel breakfasts with a great selection of fruits, pastries, scrambled eggs, etc. (I stayed 4 nights & it was consistently good). Check in/ out was easy and customer service experience was great.

Everything was perfect. The batman sculptures were weird, odd design choice and incongruous with the elegance of common areas.
