We loved our stay at this beautiful place! Our room was well appointed and very clean. We chose it because it was close to the train station and we were on foot and it is also close to everything tourists want to see in Florence. The streets adjacent are busy, but the windows are very good at keeping out noise - we didn't hear the streets at all. A bonus surprise is that the owner provides a lovely offering of cakes, fruit and some candies - perfect when we wanted a small snack. This may have been listed, since it's called a bed and breakfast - I just hadn't noticed that. So we had cake for breakfast twice when we wanted to get somewhere early. We felt very safe here - there are multiple layers of security for your room. The front door off the street, the gate on the stairs after hours, the key card to get into the suite of rooms and then your individual room key card. Shout out to Gladius Restaurant, right down the street - so friendly and helpful with our selections for an excellent meal!

We were there for over fours nights and Saturday night in Florence is quite lively. Someone came in after a late night out, singing and loud. We think someone told them off and they quieted down quickly. I don't know what the owner can do about that - it seemed like the noisy people went further up in the building to a floor or two above. We never felt unsafe, it was just a bit loud.

Our stay in Assaporarte was more than what we had hoped for. The location is perfect as it is very close to the train station but also very close to some really nice restaurants and shops. Pretty much everything that we wanted to see including museums was a 10 to 15 minutes walk from Assaporarte. Fatima was an exceptional host, she was very accommodative even from before we checked in, always quick to respond to our messages but also during our stay when we needed something we would just message her and she would come back to us within a few minutes. She also made some good recommendations for restaurants that were genuinely worth visiting. The rooms are very cosy which makes you feel like a home away from home and also very clean. The person in charge of cleaning was also very discreet and we would always find our room in a pristine condition like the 1st day we arrived. Will definitely stay there again if we go back to Florence!

We were welcomed by an incredibly beautiful and hospitable Fatima. On my child’s birthday, she gave him a cap from the local football team ,it was such a thoughtful and touching gesture, both for him and for me 🥰 Out of two available rooms, we were offered the better one, even though we had booked another. The room was absolutely perfect ,spacious, with high ceilings and beautiful paintings on the walls. I especially want to mention the amazingly comfortable bed and wonderful linens: as soon as you lie down, you fall asleep instantly, like a child. The location couldn’t be better. There’s a parking lot nearby (about €35), which is a real treasure in the center of Florence. I recommend booking a spot in advance, as parking here is very limited. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

This was booked for my 2 daughters to meet us in Florence for a few days whilst we toured Italy. The host was magnificent. in fact the girls had the B&B to themselves as it had been closed because of the extreme heat in Florence. The facilities were top notch and so was the room and bathroom and the aircon was very welcoming. The location was magnificent too. Just 2 mins from Piazza Santa Maria Novella and 4 mins to the Duomo. Although they didn't really use the breakfast facility they said there was everything you needed to make a substantial breakfast. They would definitely stay again.

No lift but the buildings are very old so to be expected.

The location is very good. The apartment is very clean and tidy. We chose the classic room, it was small, but has all essentials, like AC, fan, specious bed. Fatima was very welcoming and accommodating of our needs. Building doesn't have an elevator, so be ready to walk some stairs) Overall we were very happy with our accommodation choice, and I would happily recommend this place for Florence stay. It is a very good quality/ price balance.

For our needs, everything was perfect. I believe some people might have problems with the absence of the elevator, but it's an old building, so it's understandable.

What a wonderful guesthouse. We enjoyed our stay so much. Fatima is a gracious and friendly host and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The room was elegant and beautifully decorated. The reception area is welcoming and cool, and a selection of cakes and snacks are available to guests. A wonderful stay and I can highly recommend this listing. Thank you Fatima!

Everything was perfect!

Amazing location and good room with amenities.

The AC was not working great, had to leave it on full for the whole day (which made a lot of noise). It did cool down but it felt like it was a bottom wall unit that was put on the ceiling, which made the air go upwards and not circulating correctly.

The location was absolutely perfect, close to everything but still quiet at night. The room was superb, spotlessly clean and very elegant and cosy. Easy check-in and check-out, and the most welcoming host who was very flexible during check-in time, and welcomed us warmly when we arrived. I highly recommend this place and will definitely choose it the next time we’re in Florence.

Perfect location - few minutes walk from rail station and within easy walking distance of the centre of Florence. Nice comfortable bed as well.

Stairs were a little bit steep, but most properties like this are the same (we stayed elsewhere in Florence a few years previously) - not a problem if you are reasonably fit.
