The hotel is in a good location for walking to the many sites that Florence has to offer and despite its central location, was remarkably free from external noise (traffic and so on). The room was a good size with good facilities but be forewarned, the bathroom and toilet have part-frosted glass doors so make sure you share with someone you know! :-). The breakfast was very good with a wide selection but the eggs and bacon are not what you might expect in the traditional full-English version. We did not eat in the restaurant other than a lunchtime snack (which was very nice) while waiting for our bus so cannot comment on the full dinner experience. The hotel is themed but I have no idea what the theme is… it is very random! “Quirky” doesn’t really do it justice; it’s weird! We enjoyed our three night stay but it is quite expensive in my opinion.

The hotel is very poorly lit. This is deliberate no doubt, to support the ambience, but I prefer to see where I’m walking! The light switches in our room were unfathomable! The switches rotate so you can’t tell if they are in an on/off position and they all (at least four in number) seem to control all the lights. To get the bathroom light to turn on without all the others, took us about 20 minutes one evening and after it was turned off, we couldn’t get it back on. Perhaps I’m getting old! And the bedside lights are so faint as to be useless!

The overall decor and vibe of the hotel was really great. Rooms were nice sized and had good amenities. Location was mins away from piazza Santa maria novella and the Duomo

I thought the service was a little bit rigid and not very hospitable. We asked for late check out by an hour and they said flat out no for either of our 2 rooms. We also bought some sandwiches and were eating them in a totally empty courtyard adjacent to their restaurant also empty and a staff member told us we couldn’t eat our sandwiches in the courtyard.

Ground floor is gorgeous with a beautiful atrium. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Staff was very nice. Beds were SUPER comfortable with nice down pillows and blankets.

The decor with the Heaven/Hell theme is very off-putting and hideous. Our bathroom ended up being an accessible bathroom but the lighting was so dim and the shower literally sprayed water all over the toilet and toilet paper. There was no shelving to put your showerables. The bathroom was so dysfunctional.

The hotel is beautifully designed and you feel really immersed in the place. The Companion bar staff were great, as were the reception staff and cleaning staff. The room (a hell room with a balcony) was great and super quiet. The sauna was a lovely addition and the gym was good - although it needed yoga mats.

The dinner menu was quite limited. Plus there was no bar menu which made having a quick bite to eat difficult. Some of the restaurant staff were quite difficult to get the attention of. Plus I feel like every time we tried to sit in the communal area we were asked to move because of bookings (no signs were out) and staff photos being taken. It wasn’t a big deal but it made it harder to relax so we went elsewhere.

Wow!!! What a lovely hotel. 5 minute's walk from the centre. Lovely booking experience, so friendly and helpful. The bedroom was amazing, apart from the comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, lovely towels the actual decoration was amazing!! Loved it. All the little touches were there including a Bluetooth speaker. We had breakfast every day and it was expansive. A bit of everything for everyone. The whole downstairs area is so well decorated and buzzy. Really truly loved this hotel, not that you'd guess from this review! If you are going to Florence please book here.

Wonderful experience! Beautiful hotel, very comfy beds, amazing Dante-themed rooms (you can choose between Inferno and Cielo rooms - each one of them an experience to remember!). But the most memorable and unique point at this hotel is the amazing staff at the reception: everyone was super helpful and kind and authentically empathetic. Especially Sebastian was a blessing - he was so kind and understanding and welcoming - especially when my son came down with the flu and needed accommodation, too. I will surely return - of course because of the beautiful hotel - but first and foremost because of the amazing staff!!!!!! Thank you so much :)

Good breakfast, friendly staff and great position and design.

The Room we got was the type we booked, kind of. Except for the fact that the Light at the entrance was not working, we Had a problem with the design of the Room.The Room was designed to accomodate disabeled: there were no carpets, all the amenities werelower than usual and completely designed for a person in a wheelchair. The design was perfect for them, but we did not book that type of Room and since the people who stayed in the Room and average/tall height this actually was a problem. We were offered at the start this Room but didn’t notice the small details in a quick tour, and a Room that Had a small window with bars that was only at the top so you felt Like you weere in a JAIL cell.

This Dante Divine Trilogy inspired property is a hoot! Pick a Hell room or a Heaven room depending on your preference for soothing or energizing. Staff are friendly and happy in this multi-use property with a cinema, gym and spa, huge restaurant and 3 bars, all of which work together to provide a seamless experience. I didn’t get to try the gym but it has one, which is a plus. The ground floor is loud and raucous but my third floor room with a small balcony looking out over a small pool and enclosed piazza was very quiet. The medium room design was delightful but also highly functional for two people (excluding the “coffee maker” which dumped all the grounds into the beaker). Value for what it delivered at under $200/night was solid.

The location is close to the train station and a bit off the beaten path, although not terribly so. No hair conditioner which is an oversight given all other bath products are provided and decent quality.

The hotel was better than expected. I actually don't think the photos do it justice. We stayed in one of the hell rooms which we were a little nervous about being too creeped out by, however the room was extremely fresh and clean. The hell theme is clearly humorous and we slept very well in a huge comfy bed. The garden was great to relax, have a few cocktails and play a few games. We didn't eat in the main restaurant but we did eat lunch in the cafe and it was very tasty with a good range of choices.

Such a unique and fun hotel! All the details were on point, from the hallways to every part of the room. We found a new little detail we loved every day. Quiet, very clean rooms and safe, hyper central area.The amenities were clean and so lovely, we loved the sauna which was empty every time we went! Staff was so attentive to us, ordering taxis that arrived immediately, recommending and booking restaurants, and taking special care to make our honeymoon special. The breakfast was very nice and every staff member was amazing.We loved the café area as well, best cappuccinos in Florence! It was such a perfect stay, we enjoyed every part of the hotel experience!

While we absolutely loved the look of the bar and the staff, the cocktails were unfortunately hit or miss… we tried both drinks from the menu and class drinks like espresso martinis and were a bit disappointed, so maybe the cocktails could be updated (also some of the cocktails were never available). But the ambiance completely made up for it and we still went every night!
