The hotel is in a good location for walking to the many sites that Florence has to offer and despite its central location, was remarkably free from external noise (traffic and so on). The room was a good size with good facilities but be forewarned, the bathroom and toilet have part-frosted glass doors so make sure you share with someone you know! :-). The breakfast was very good with a wide selection but the eggs and bacon are not what you might expect in the traditional full-English version. We did not eat in the restaurant other than a lunchtime snack (which was very nice) while waiting for our bus so cannot comment on the full dinner experience. The hotel is themed but I have no idea what the theme is… it is very random! “Quirky” doesn’t really do it justice; it’s weird! We enjoyed our three night stay but it is quite expensive in my opinion.

The hotel is very poorly lit. This is deliberate no doubt, to support the ambience, but I prefer to see where I’m walking! The light switches in our room were unfathomable! The switches rotate so you can’t tell if they are in an on/off position and they all (at least four in number) seem to control all the lights. To get the bathroom light to turn on without all the others, took us about 20 minutes one evening and after it was turned off, we couldn’t get it back on. Perhaps I’m getting old! And the bedside lights are so faint as to be useless!

The overall decor and vibe of the hotel was really great. Rooms were nice sized and had good amenities. Location was mins away from piazza Santa maria novella and the Duomo

I thought the service was a little bit rigid and not very hospitable. We asked for late check out by an hour and they said flat out no for either of our 2 rooms. We also bought some sandwiches and were eating them in a totally empty courtyard adjacent to their restaurant also empty and a staff member told us we couldn’t eat our sandwiches in the courtyard.

We were in the hell-themed room on the ground floor. The room was special, comfortable, clean and a great size. It had everything you need, a refrigerator and sockets. The bed was super comfortable and outside the room was a cute garden with a sauna. The hotel had a luxurious seating area and the hallways were also decorated. You could see that they had thought of everything, including the little details. The location was convenient and close to everything, the center and the train station. If I return to the city again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

The entrance to the hotel was a bit confusing at first. There was also a cafe, a somewhat hidden entrance, and a bar. There were some steep stairs, but there were few of them, so it was okay.

It’s my second time in this hotel and it was again a great stay. The team is very professional and helpful. Unlike so many other hotels, even 5-star ones, the staff is actually well organized and any request to a member of the team you make is passed down to the relevant person who will then accommodate your request. The rooms are spacious and well thought, it has everything you need. The common areas are beautifully designed. The hotel has many unique features (countless references to Dante’s Divine Comedy, an indoor cinema, an interior garden, a “jogger station” for people who want to run in the morning, a stocked minibar free on the first day, etc). The hotel is also perfectly located. You can literally walk to all the major Florence landmarks and attractions.

The only downside was the breakfast, who was a bit disappointing.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the main sights. Breakfast was excellent, and both the staff and reception team were fantastic. The hotel was spotless, with a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The multiple courtyard bars and quiet lounge areas made it easy to relax and enjoy a drink or meal.

One member of the cleaning staff tried to mislead us about our checkout time, claiming it was 2 hours earlier so she could clean the room sooner and got very angry when we questioned that what she was saying wasn’t correct. Once we raised the issue with reception, it was quickly resolved and an apology was given.

The hotel is visually stunning; very original and with a real sense of humour. The water fountain in the dining room is the most original I've ever seen. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I thought it was designed around customer comfort. I loved the courtyard and the big sofas just inside the doors. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Reception gave us toothpaste tablets when we forgot to bring ours. It was nice to know you were returning to this hotel after sight-seeing. We would stay again without hesitation and we would definitely consider 25 hours hotels in other locations. (Can you set one up in London please? We'd love to see what you'd do with it!)

Breakfast was mixed. I wasn't keen on the hot food selection, but there were some really nice touches, such as the juice maker and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Access to the tables could have been better organised. It's unclear if or how to check in, which caused a few problems on a busy Sunday morning. Lovely pastries, fruit and coffee though. I'm nitpicking.

We had the “hell room” ( red room). Had asked for a heaven or white room but none was available. Overall the property is funky and fun. Room is large and the bed was comfortable. Break was is good and has good options. The hotel is located well within Florence and close to major atracciones and activities.

I had a bad experience at the restaurant. Had booked a dinner for 8 pm. We arrived about 15 early and the person at the entrance told me to sit by the bar and wait. My wife and I were completely forgotten. When I walked back up to the same person, he did my recognize me and I had to repeat the whole thing again. The whole experience was frustrating. At that point my dinner started 10 minutes late. While he kept sitting people ahead of me.

This hotel is by far one of the best we've stayed in — and I travel a lot! From the stunning design throughout the hotel to the wide range of facilities, everything exceeded our expectations. There’s a library, cinema, gym, sauna, and even a complimentary welcome set in the minibar, with bottled water replenished daily. Another thoughtful touch my partner really appreciated as a runner: near the hotel exit, they provide a suggested running route along with fresh towels and bottled water — such a nice detail! The location is also excellent — just an 8-minute walk from the train station and within easy walking distance of all major sights. And let’s not forget the fantastic breakfast! Highly recommended!

Ground floor is gorgeous with a beautiful atrium. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Staff was very nice. Beds were SUPER comfortable with nice down pillows and blankets.

The decor with the Heaven/Hell theme is very off-putting and hideous. Our bathroom ended up being an accessible bathroom but the lighting was so dim and the shower literally sprayed water all over the toilet and toilet paper. There was no shelving to put your showerables. The bathroom was so dysfunctional.

The 25 hours is well located with walking distance to most of the things we wanted to do and see. Near by are great local restaurants and cool shops. The most important thing for me was its wide open private and well secluded parking. The museums are likewise so near as well as the market area. Only a few blocks away is the Strozzi Museum area which is where the elegant shops are located. We had breakfast in the cool Alimentari coffee bar of the hotel which was an open planned space in a private plaza area.

Like most 25 hours hotels, the room is unique. But ours was fire red with sign that said Welcome to Hello. And the open bathroom style with no privacy of a door and facing the inner courtyard roof was a bit disconcerting. Also the bathroom windows had large gallery style windows but there was no way to block off the sunlight from the bed while one was sleeping. So this also was a bit bothersome.
