Excellent location, staff especially lovely, Elmedina .. she was so warm and welcoming, travelling alone she was so helpful and I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Only street and restaurants were loud outside so take stronger ear plugs. I would definitely stay there again except in a room away from the street.

Loved everything!

Everything was good. The hotel occupies one floor of a historical building. We booked a 4-person accommodation, and it was spacius. The sofa that turned into a bed was big and accommodated two adults generously. The breakfast was very good with enough options and mafe freshly for you. The cleaning was very good. It's a 5-minute walk from the main train station and 10 minutes from Palazzo Vecchio and Central Market. Staff is very attentive. I recommend it.

Despite several options for the breakfast, if you have a long stay, it might be repetitive. Because it is located in a historical building, the lift is small and very slow. Therefore, most of the time, you need to walk up/down two floors by stairs. It was not a problem for us but might be to others.

The staff are extremely sweet and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast is Great! It is a very nice addition and adds value to the stay. The location is really good, many great restaurants around the hotel and 10 minutes walk to the main busy area. Also, it is 10 minutes walk from the train station and can be done with luggage. It is a historical building so there is no sound proofing and everything can be heard, as in anyone speaking loudly or someone closing the door. We are not early risers but others who are were inconsiderate so it was frustrating. I think a sign should be there in the morning not to disturb others. I assume most buildings are in Florence as they can’t do anything about it. As much as we loved the breakfast, the breakfast area is close to the rooms and cleaning the dishes during the breakfast time is also very loud. Last thing is the pillows are too soft and not that comfortable.

Our Hostess, Elmendita, was gracious, friendly and helpful. We had a very early flight out from Florence and had to be at the airport by 5 AM. The staff prepared a breakfast assortment for us that we could have in our room before we left. The location is truly easy walking distance into Florence and security was good. The ancient fresco on our room ceiling was memorable :)

The bathroom needs brighter lighting. We would have appreciated better signage to direct us up to the hotel entrance when we first entered the hallway off the street.

Location close to Train station and main sites is excellent. The breakfast was paticularly good with part of it being prepared for the guests by the staff. But the exceptional thing was the room I stayed in (Room 8 I think) which was very large, very comfortable, quiet with nice views and felt very grand. Would definitely visit again, this is an excellent hotel

Slightly tricky to find because the hotel entrance is inside a main door, on 2nd floor of building and I didn't spot a sign on the street for the Hotel - I just went to the street number and there it was. But don't let that put you off, the hotel and room I stayed in are excellent

Location was exceptional, just across from the oldest pharmacy. And walkable to most attractions. Water in the room was replenished everyday, 2 still and 2 sparkle. Breakfast for three stars was good. We liked that the eggs were prepared specially for you.

The air conditioning in the room was quite loud and turned on and off the whole night. Be aware cititax can only be pain in cash, which I mean not everyone carries cash nowadays. I think this should be able to be paid by card

Nice hotel with welcoming staff. Room was bit small but comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. You have to tell them in advance the options from the list to avoid waste. Location is excellent. Near to Train station and main attractions are in walking distance. They also allow you to keep luggage in the hotel after checkout which was superb.

A full mirror in a room could have been better. Currently there is only half mirror in the bathroom.

Very friendly helpful team in every interaction! Loved staying in a 15th century building and the ceiling painting was an extra piece of ambiance. The location is so great, quick walk from the bus/train station and your home and a few steps to impressive historical sites! I loved it so much I stayed one more day.

I find after travelling in Italy for a few weeks, older buildings generally nothing is perfect, but the team went out of their way to be available for my questions.

Very clean room with a big bath and a shower. Nice and helpful staff. Great location, very close to main attractions and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Nice breakfast and a coffee.

The hotel is situated on the second floor and is nicely renovated but the entrance hall on the ground floor needs refurbishment. The wall separating the bedroom from the bathroom is thin but the good thing is if you need more privacy you can use the one in the corridor.

Location was perfect. The staff at the front desk, sorry I can't remember her name, was there to make sure everything was great for us. They even accommoded us when we arrived early. And we had to leave early, she made sure breakfast was in her room before we left. Don't know what more I I could have asked for!

Our room was on a busy road, you could hear cars and people from time to time. However, traveling around Italy, this is something very very common. I can't say it was a negative, just play background noise or earplugs. However, this is unavoidable and almost all hotels. I don't care what they say.
