Excellent hotel, very good service, vigorous and varied breakfast, we want to thank the young people who work in the hotel restaurant, very friendly and kind. Impeccable room, we want to thank the lady who makes the rooms for her effort and work. The location of the hotel is spectacular, 100 meters from the Sta. María Nouvelle train station. The most pleasant thing of all is Albi, our hotel receptionist, he is witty, pleasant, smiling and knows how to make people feel good and confident, he is the one who makes people return to the hotel, and that is what we are going to do, thank you very much for everything Hotel Boccaccio.

Hotel Boccaccio locates within 5 minutes on foor, that is why I choose this hotel. I arrive at hotel befor 10 AM, and I asked to keep my luggages then receptionist told me that the room would be ready in 30 minutes, so I was waiting about 30 minutes in hotel lobby, then I could check in around 10:30 AM. That is really good for me that because I planned to visit Uffitz. Duomo and others on foot, so early checking in helped me a lot. This time I stayed just one, but I will stay at lease 3 nights for traveling around Firenze at this hotel. Breakfast was really more than enough, you can order whatever coffee you want, and you can east variety of food.

Nothing I had.

The location is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station and 10-20 minutes from the main sites. They were happy for us to leave our bags before our room was ready and also to leave them on check out to pick up later. The breakfast was great! Help yourself style with crossaints, toast, the usual jams butter etc, yogurts, fruit, pastries, juice, coffee, cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs. The room was super clean, powerful shower and comfy beds. The staff were always happy to help and had great knowledge of the area.

The location was central and close to the train station. The staff was extremely friendly and had one of their staff members assist us to the train station, carrying all of our luggage for free, we did give him a tip. We got kisses from the front desk staff member Elby who was extremely friendly, very pleasant and very helpful. The room was spacious. It was noisy because you are an essential area but they do have a noise machine to block out the background noise. The breakfast that was included was good and the staff was available 24 hours a day.

The noise and the air conditioning was not great, but kept the room cool. Being close to the train station was convenient however, there was a lot of people hanging close to the train station selling things, but not in an annoying way. Did not have much concern on our safety.

from check in to check out, staff was super helpful! Kudos to Alby for helping us deal with a pickpocketing issue. We really appreciated that English was spoken so well, & staff was so kind. Ronny helped us figure out a ride to a wedding event in Tuscany. Besides the staff being the best, the hotel's close proximity to the train station , and really everything that we wanted to see, was great! Very walkable! Breakfast was the best of our vacation, super staff at restaurant too. Would definitely recommend!!

It was the second time we went to the hotel, the staff was very friendly as always. The location is perfect, it is within minutes of walking from any major attraction and the closest hotel from central station. The best cost effective hotel we’ve find in Florence.

I think this time we got two beds together in one, and that isn’t the most comfortable, also the last time our room wasn’t facing the street, so it was a little noisier than last time; nothing that compromised our sleep. From last time, we also felt the breakfast got a little smaller, but still very good.

Superb location, really close to the train and bus station, which makes really easy to move with luggage. Also, the main turistic sites of the city are no more than 10 to 15 minutes away, the area feels safe and is packed with restaurants, osterias and shops. Supermarket across the street for last minute needs. The staff really makes you feel at home, traveling solo you actually feel they care and look after you. Good continental breakfast is provided, with extraordinary tasting coffee (really important for me).

My door never closed, and even tough the staff was aware of this situation, they did not fix it.

The staff are superb and very welcoming to the hotel, so I liked immediately. The single room is tiny but sufficient for my stay. Super strong air conditioning and the room got cooled quickly so I put on quilt even during night, a plus point for the heatwave in that week. Breakfast is simple, at the cafe downstairs, but with proper coffee so that is alright. Very close to train station.

I liked the location - so close to the train but also a very short walk to the absolute centre. But not being in the absolute centre meant less volume of tourists in the street at night. This was the largest shower and bathroom I encountered in Italy - that was nice. The breakfast was decent also.

My room was very very small, but I knew that when I booked it. I didn’t like their messages telling me if I didn’t give them a 9 or higher then I’m contributing to them not doing well. This irked me. Don’t guilt me about what review to give. Also, an 8 is a totally reasonable review and I stay at 8 hotels all the time. This kind of correspondence didn’t impress me.
