Room is spacious and clean. Great location

Shower curtain is a piece of small plastic panel and you need to stand at the bath tub end to avoid water splashing all around the place during shower. Having shower is a big challenge of the day😅😅

Traveling with my chikd,13, for a few days was a perfect stay. I chose to stay close to the train station as we had come from Rome & lots of travel - the location for us, was for ease. It is doable to get to the main attractions, but takes a little walking or other transport. The bathroom was so clean and the shower felt so nice! I love the Anyah products, refreshed towels, clean linens, soundproof and dark curtains. The bed itself was not majorly comfortable for my back, but if I laid flat on my back on top of the comforter it never hurt- just a bit stiff of a bed. Clean and I didn't worry about the lines for the first time in many stays elsewhere. The breakfast... how I MISS that spread. It was almost humbling. I know I was hungry from 30k steps a day, but it was a beautiful way to honour guests. Fresh fruit, dried fruits and nuts, yogurt, eggs, breads, meat, fresh juices, coffees, really - more than one can eat, but quite impressive. The front desk attendant went to several rooms to find a proper hair dryer w diffuser for my poor hair. So helpful. I have nothing bad to say.

When I walked in there was a musty smell the was off putting - it could have been the air freshener, but it wasn't great. It concerned me there was mildew etc, but the rooms were just fine. It may have been food from afar, air freshener, or a person ..?

The location couldn't have been better. We arrived by car, from a rental company, located just a few blocks away, walking distance. And we departed by train, and the hotel is just across the street, couldn't be closer. That was the main reason for choosing c-Diplomat hotel. However, we came to appreciate that the facilities, the cleanliness, the staff was beyond our expectation. The hotel offers breakfast (not included in the price), which is convenient, but guest who want to have other options will find just around the corner, a very good breakfast place.

Breakfast is a little pricey, therefore we went just around the corner for a typical italian cafe, with pastries, etc

Very clean, and we got a specious room. The bathroom is also a large size and nice except for the shower cabin that was too small and outdated. Very convenient location close to the train station and 10 to 15 minutes from major attractions. Staff is very helpful and respectful. Nice gesture from the management: At check-in, we got a nice welcoming note and a nice gift at check-out. I do recommend this place.

Only few things but nothing major: shower outdated. As the hotel is very close to the train station, we can hear trains (but this is the downside of being in a central location).

This hotel is in a great location close to both the train station and the tram that comes into the city from the airport. It has an elevator, something that we appreciate more in our 70's than we used to. The room was excellent, clean, large modern bathroom, good mattress and linens, quiet in spite of being near the train station. The breakfast buffet was extensive and well tended. Staff were courteous and helpful. We needed a one night stay in Florence after flying in from Vancouver and this hotel with its easy tram ride from the airport and the train station across the street for onward travel the next day met our needs perfectly. We were uncertain about the hotel given that it was across from the train station, but our concerns were unfounded. A good hotel with all the services.

Fabulous hotel & staff ... Reception brilliant & extremely helpful... The hotel is right beside the main train station & a lot of bus tours meet in this area before heading off to their relevant destinations ... Breakfast was superb & Adriajik/Giulia were simply lovely, pleasant & very helpful sorting everyone out ... Even day lunches were provided for days out if you had to leave early for the tours ... Just give them a little notice in advance. Would really recommend this hotel ...

Nothing ... Everything was superb

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. From the outside, it looked like a regular building — a bit unassuming, to be honest. Before booking, I saw it had excellent ratings, but seeing the building in person initially made us question our choice. However, as soon as we stepped inside, from check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. The friendliness of the entire staff, always with a smile on their faces, was heartwarming. The reception team was exceptional in resolving an issue we encountered during our vacation. The room service was outstanding, and the breakfast was varied and of great quality. We especially loved the small gesture of offering coffee, tea, and other refreshments to guests in the afternoon — a thoughtful bonus that made us feel at home. The little note they left us made us feel truly welcome, and the parting gift on our last day — a small package of pasta (because, of course, we were in Florence!) — left us completely speechless. If we ever return to Florence, there’s no doubt we’ll stay at this hotel again

Unfortunately, I stayed in a room that I presume was designed for guests with limited accessibility, as the bathroom was more adapted to their needs. The only downside was the shower area, where water would seep out from under the glass panels, making the floor a bit slippery (one day, I slipped and fell, but it wasn’t anything serious). Perhaps it would be worth reconsidering the shower system, but other than that, there’s nothing to fault!

Fantastic hotel, extremely kind staff with warm welcome. We loooved our cosy clean room on the top floor with balcony and a lovely view to the city. We got hand written welcome note and chocolate, the day after we got other gift - these gestures just left us speechless, it's the place where you feel stuff is there for you. Breakfast and stuff at breakfast is also exceptional, in the afternoon guests can have a tea and cake at the lounge or later a drink at the bar. Location is perfect, especially if you are by train, the center is close. The hotel is great value for money, they exceeded all of our expectations. We would like to thank again the wonderful stay and no doubt, we will definitely choose c-hotels diplomat for our next trip to Firenze.

This hotel is amazing I’d definitely stay in it every time I come to Florence. The location is amazing if you’re traveling by train the station is right across the street we came with a van and parked few meters next to the hotel in a parking garage which was so convenient also. The location of the hotel is amazing few minutes walking distance from the center close to all important sites. The hotel itself is amazing Very clean which was super important to me, cozy, the temperature of the room was perfect not too hot not cold When we entered the room we found a handwritten welcoming note from the management which was amazing! The WiFi connection was great. The breakfast was nice great desserts and for someone who’s very selective when it comes to coffee their coffee was the best I had in all my trip. Everything was amazing

This hotel has a lot to offer, starting with its prime location right next to the train station. While this provides unparalleled convenience for exploring the city and beyond, light sleepers might want to request a room away from the tracks as trains can be heard passing by. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of the main tourist attractions, though be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk on your way back. The breakfast provided a decent start to the day with a satisfactory selection of standard breakfast fare. I wouldn't say it was anything extraordinary, but it certainly did the job. The staff were polite and efficient throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any queries. My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. While the decor was perhaps a little on the traditional side and could benefit from some modern updates, it was perfectly clean and functional. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to those seeking a convenient base for exploring the city.

There could be more gluten-free products at breakfast, and not only industrialized ones.
