The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant on my first night which was one of the best meals I have ever had. They told me about so many places that I never would have found otherwise. No request was too much, I felt very welcomed. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very nice. As a solo traveller it was really important to me to feel safe and the security was very reassuring. If I ever return to Florence I will be staying here again.

It was clean, comfortable and central.

I wasn’t too comfortable about the toilet/shower being out of our room even though we were the only ones using it.

Our stay at the property was fantastic. The property was just a few minutes' walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The rental itself was very clean and spacious, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Most of the tourist attractions were within walking distance, which was a huge plus. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a central and welcoming place to stay!”

The sofa bed was not comfortable, and the noise from the restaurant next door, with bottles rattling until midnight, was quite disruptive.

The host, Antonio, was very welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. He accommodated our request to check in earlier than initially agreed and treated us to a complementary espresso in the boutique reception. He provided plenty of advice and several excellent recommendations regarding places to visit and eat in the city. We were even given a brief Florentine history lesson, which was much appreciated! The room was wonderful - spacious and clean. The boutique hotel is centrally located; only a stone's throw from the train station and within short walking distance of many of Florence's main attractions.

I only wish we had spent more than one night!

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I was personally greeted by the owner, who was not only incredibly hospitable but also full of helpful local tips and information—such a thoughtful touch that instantly made me feel at home. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique property, tastefully designed and full of charm. My room was spacious and serene, with a lovely balcony that offered a tranquil view—perfect for a quiet moment of relaxation. I also appreciated how peaceful the entire property was, making it easy to unwind. The full kitchen in the room was a huge plus, especially for longer stays, and the security features—multiple doors and locks—gave me an added sense of comfort throughout my stay. This place strikes a perfect balance between comfort, beauty, and a personal touch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, secure, and welcoming home base.

While the hotel is located right next to the train station, which might seem convenient at first, the area around it left me feeling uneasy. There were quite a few sketchy individuals loitering near the station and along the street, especially in the evenings. The surrounding streets are dimly lit and don’t feel particularly safe to walk through at night. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend being cautious after dark or arranging transportation rather than walking. That said, the hotel itself more than made up for the neighborhood concerns. They take security seriously: there are multiple doors and locks, which helped me feel safe and well-protected despite the location.

Really lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Also provided us with a bottle of bubbly as I was celebrating my birthday Breakfast is a cold continental style breakfast but are available 24 hours a day. Excellent location, the hotel also provided us with discount vouchers for two lovely restaurant one being outside the hotel. To fond the hotel you need to refer to the street number as the sign is quite small and it looks a front door The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the train and tram stop, so easy to get to from the airport. We took the bus outside the airport terminal and the tram, very easy and took less than an hour with minimal walk and about €10 If I ever come back to Florence I would stay here. Lovely rustic Italian charm, just perfect

The location is very convenient, just one street away from the SMN station, but you have to look carefully at the signboard as it is quite easily missed out, as it is located in the ancient building, no elevator, but the owner/ staff will help to carry the luggage up to your room, so no worries. Besides, the owners are very friendly and informative, they have introduced me the things to see and places to go during check in, which i felt very warm.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about Florence, and eager to help. From check in when Mohamed talked us through all the best sites to visit, some restaurant and trattoria recommendations to Fatima who was fastidious with getting us fed in the morning, even chastising a colleague for not fetching her when we decided to have a light breakfast one of the morning ; this was sweet and showed all the staff were keen to make our stay as good as it could be. We had to change room for our last night (my fault when I made the booking), and they made it an easy process too.

Not much. The only thing I could mention are things that always come with staying in an old property, but you expect low ceilings and climbing stairs, so no complaints about that!

The hotel is in a very convenient location when arriving in Florence via the train (just a 3 minute walk from the station). Also very easy to walk to all the main tourist destinations from the hotel and some great restaurants close by (the one under the hotel is excellent!). The staff were super friendly and so helpful upon check-in. They went through a whole map of places to see and things to do. The room was quiet and very clean. We did find the beds a little hard and there were no windows in our room (but we were out exploring most of the time so we didn't mind). There is also a washing machine and dryer on site included in the booking cost which was really useful. We would definitely stay here again!

The structure is perfectly located, few min walking from the train station and about 10 min from most points of interest in Florence. It is a nice old traditional building but very well kept through the years. The stairs are easy to climb and for those bringing big suitcases maybe you should wonder yourself if Italy and Florence are destinations for you. Because we stayed 4 nights and booked breakfast as well, we got an upgrade to a bigger room Cristoforo, thanks for that. Be aware all guests have access to breakfast which is 24/7 provided in the common kitchen area (some Italian sweets, coffee, tea, juice, milk). Staff was very friendly, special thanks to Mohamed who welcomed us and gave us good tips for what to visit, where to eat, make shopping. What we initially thought is a disadvantage (breakfast) turned into an advantage. We could have breakfasted any time, serve a coffee whenever we wanted, have a tea in the evening with some sweets because it is available 24/7 in the kitchen. There is somebody at reception everyday from 9am to 7pm. Check-in time is flexible, and we could leave our luggage there few hours after check-out. You can get your room cleaned as well if staying more nights.

Just one ceiling window, not too big. Pretty dark room. Small bathroom and shower cabin. Thin walls, you could hear noises from the neighbors
