Really, really impressed with this hotel. Rooms with views of the Florence skyline, a quick (10-15 min) walk to the city center and just across the street from both the train station and the airport tram. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We appreciated that there is a 24-hour front desk. Breakfast is generous: fruit, meats, toast, pancakes, eggs, coffee, juice, pastries, etc. Room was spacious and comfortable. Well sealed doors and windows. It was very quiet and there were blackout shades - great for light sleepers. Top floor rooms have private balconies too! We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Florence!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast team. The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance to the train station and conveniently close to key attractions. The room was large and spacious, and the toilet facilities were great. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, and we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which was a thoughtful gesture.

The room felt a bit outdated, and the area was somewhat noisy. However, considering the price, it still offered excellent value for money.

Great location, next to Santa Maria Novella station, next to the center with Duomo only 15 minute walk away. Decent breakfast included in the rates, still and sparkling water dispenser in the cafeteria area is always available except for wee hours of the morning.

Great shower but you can’t keep the water contained within the shower, you always end up with water on the bathroom floor after taking a shower. Decent breakfast but it starts at 7am and there’s nothing they can help you with if you leave before 7am - no parcels, no take away bags. Witnessed a couple trying to explain to cafeteria staff that they have a tour at 7am and they would like to grab some fruit and tea before they leave, anyway denied and told that breakfast starts at 7am for everybody.

The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, situated right next to the train station with most attractions within walking distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and even upgrading us to a larger room. As for the breakfast, it was decent—nothing extraordinary, but sufficient to start the day.

The hotel shows its age, and the soundproofing could definitely use improvement. I could easily hear footsteps from the guests staying above, as well as conversations from people passing through the hallway. This made it difficult to relax, especially during the night.

I like the comfort that the hotel room brings, it is very quiet. I must say that I have rested well every night, coming from my tours. Honestly, I have been to other EU countries before Florence, the rooms are nice too but they do not have air conditioning, unlike HOTEL DELLE NAZIONI. I missed breakfast most of the mornings because my tours require me to be at the meeting point early, so i leave the hotel even before the resto opens for breakfast. The location is great! I love that it is 3 minutes away from the SMN and 11 minutes walk to the Tourist Bus station (Plaza Montelungo) where I catch my tours, and I easily find the tour Operators who are in that area only. Hotel Delle Nazioni will always be my home whenever I am in FLR. The hotel was moments from the train station in Florence, making arrival and departure really easy. We could walk between the two. The breakfast that was included was early enough that when we went to Pisa for the day we could have breakfast before we left and late enough that we could have a relaxing morning another day. Check out at 12 also made this fantastic. We had a small balcony with views over the Florence skyline and the double glazing was amazing. I recommend.

Strangely there were no glasses or fridge in the room. This is the only hotel we stayed in during our time in Italy that had neither.

Location was the best with only 3 mins walk from The main train station and we had a family room of 4 with the maximum space we found in our Europe trip. The room was equipped with kitchenette.The beds were comfy and breakfast was amazing. Truly much more value for money than any other hotel we stayed in Europe. We also used the coin laundry nearby which accept cash only but very handy.

Some stairs involved when transporting luggage to the room but can’t escape that part in Europe

The beds were extremely comfortable, the whole hotel smelled great and was really clean. Staff were brilliant, especially the front desk staff and the cleaner Candy, she was delightful and excellent. This hotel is incredible value for money and the breakfast is brilliant

The bathroom was a little dated and the beds only have a sheet for a cover, but staff did give extra pillows and extra sheets when requested. I would also have loved a kettle and coffee in the room

The location was great. Across the road from the train station and a walkable distance from most sites. The staff were lovely and even gave us a room upgrade. The breakfast offered was great. Lots to choose from and was constantly being filled up. Better to get there earlier in the morning though as the dining room fills up. Our room was also cleaned daily which was nice.

The wifi was quite poor in our room. The room also didn't have a smart tv and the cable tv had horrible reception so we couldn't really watch it anyway.

I liked all in this hotel. Very nice atmosphere, very gentle and kind staff, clean room, very good breakfast with different products, sweets, fruits, coffee, cheese, rice and other tasty food. The hotel is situated in very good place, just near Alamani stazione, and 10-15 minutes from the Florence center. It was a very good experience to stay in this hotel.

I dont like air conditioner, so I immediately turned it off when I entered the room. (Was very cold). Opening the window helps to make air warmer in the room.
