Excellent location, staff especially lovely, Elmedina .. she was so warm and welcoming, travelling alone she was so helpful and I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Only street and restaurants were loud outside so take stronger ear plugs. I would definitely stay there again except in a room away from the street.

Loved everything!

Very nice location, the hotel is close to the train station and all major tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We received everything we asked for, and our rooms were cleaned daily. In addition, we were provided with several bottles of water each day, which was amazing considering the hot weather.

The air conditioning was loud and could not be adjusted, and the walls offered little sound insulation. Our room was very small, so we had to keep our clothing in our luggage. Every day, the bread served was very dry, and on one occasion there was mold on the butter and vegetables, leaving us without breakfast.

We stayed in a triple room since we wanted a separate bed for the kid. The room was spacious and had a beautiful ceiling. Everything was fine and clean. Breakfast was really nice, especially for scrambled eggs made personally for each guest. Perfect local pastries. Location is good. Far enough from the railway station, yet easily accessible by foot, and close enough to historical places. Oh, and of course the wine window across the street is a good bonus for wine lovers.

Noise from the street was too loud. That’s not the noise of the crowd, which could have been unnoticed at all, but the noise of the construction works held in front of hotel. Hope it ends soon and next time will not bother any guests.

Staff were incredible, and this is not an understatement. We arrived a little earlier than check-in, but staff were very communicative about when the room would be available and very kind and welcoming when we did check-in. Staff who tended to our breakfast were kind and willing to assist with whatever we required. Water and fresh towels each morning. There is a lift, however it is small and slow, but we didn’t mind taking the stairs with our bags as it was only a short walk to get to reception anyway. Very central location and 6min walk from the train station. If you have breakfast here, order the scrambled eggs! I had them every morning because they were delicious! This is an older, historic building and I appreciated the experience in staying in a hotel with a little bit more of an authentic character feel :)

The room was a little on the smaller side, with lack of space to put large bags for 2 people, however we only stayed for a couple of nights so wasn’t too big of an issue. Our room also wasn’t sound proof, however solved simply by wearing earplugs :)

Everything was good. The hotel occupies one floor of a historical building. We booked a 4-person accommodation, and it was spacius. The sofa that turned into a bed was big and accommodated two adults generously. The breakfast was very good with enough options and mafe freshly for you. The cleaning was very good. It's a 5-minute walk from the main train station and 10 minutes from Palazzo Vecchio and Central Market. Staff is very attentive. I recommend it.

Despite several options for the breakfast, if you have a long stay, it might be repetitive. Because it is located in a historical building, the lift is small and very slow. Therefore, most of the time, you need to walk up/down two floors by stairs. It was not a problem for us but might be to others.

Staff was very helpful. All instructions for late check-in send days before, with videos to help and covering all details. Very close to the train station and surroundings are great to walk by day or night. The room was very spacious, superb celling and A/C. Breakfast was very tasty and with good variety.

the room was noisy, mostly because the windows were facing the street. A bit of sound-isolation would solve the problem. But not a big deal if you sleep well! The entrance of the building was outdate and not very welcoming.

The staff are extremely sweet and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast is Great! It is a very nice addition and adds value to the stay. The location is really good, many great restaurants around the hotel and 10 minutes walk to the main busy area. Also, it is 10 minutes walk from the train station and can be done with luggage. It is a historical building so there is no sound proofing and everything can be heard, as in anyone speaking loudly or someone closing the door. We are not early risers but others who are were inconsiderate so it was frustrating. I think a sign should be there in the morning not to disturb others. I assume most buildings are in Florence as they can’t do anything about it. As much as we loved the breakfast, the breakfast area is close to the rooms and cleaning the dishes during the breakfast time is also very loud. Last thing is the pillows are too soft and not that comfortable.

Good location near the train station and city centre so everything can be done on foot and nothing is more than 30 minutes walk away. A great neighbourhood for food and drink that is slightly off the main tourist trail and more local in feeling-we loved that. Really helpful staff.

The breakfast was fine but we’ve had better with a wider variety of things e.g. no cereals at La Scala. The room was very small with little storage space, not enough for two travellers.

Our Hostess, Elmendita, was gracious, friendly and helpful. We had a very early flight out from Florence and had to be at the airport by 5 AM. The staff prepared a breakfast assortment for us that we could have in our room before we left. The location is truly easy walking distance into Florence and security was good. The ancient fresco on our room ceiling was memorable :)

The bathroom needs brighter lighting. We would have appreciated better signage to direct us up to the hotel entrance when we first entered the hallway off the street.

Location close to Train station and main sites is excellent. The breakfast was paticularly good with part of it being prepared for the guests by the staff. But the exceptional thing was the room I stayed in (Room 8 I think) which was very large, very comfortable, quiet with nice views and felt very grand. Would definitely visit again, this is an excellent hotel

Slightly tricky to find because the hotel entrance is inside a main door, on 2nd floor of building and I didn't spot a sign on the street for the Hotel - I just went to the street number and there it was. But don't let that put you off, the hotel and room I stayed in are excellent
