We initially thought we had booked a room but were pleasantly surprised to receive an apartment instead. I would definitely book this place again. The terrace is outstanding, even larger than what the pictures suggest. Interestingly, the hotel opposite offers similar views from their terrace, but it's shared and more costly. The hotel, set in an old building, exudes a very authentic Florentine charm and offers ample space. Its location is excellent, with most tourist attractions easily accessible on foot. Just a 30-second walk away, you'll find an exceptional wine bar, the most popular and amazing restaurant in Florence, and a quirky bar serving good beer. At the top of the street, another road is lined with restaurants and bars, though these tend to be pricier than if you turn right out of the door. The cathedral is just a five-minute walk away."

Everything was on point. The location of Novella House was really central making visiting everything we wanted to see easily accessible. The room was large, comfortable and really clean, very comfortable beds and wonderful shower. The most outstanding thing about this accommodation was the staff who were absolutely superb, always friendly and respectful, giving us information and help when we asked for it. Our suitcases were lost in transit and the reception staff at Novella House did everything they could to help us, making calls to the airport and courier company, they were outstanding. Thank you for making our stay so great :-)

The location was great. The unit was clean and spacious.

The picture showed different sofa beds. It was actually very hard uncomfortable futons.

The painted ceiling of our room was absolutely beautiful. You have to make sure to select the right option when booking to get one like this. We really liked the old style furniture as well as it really made us feel like we had stepped back in time. We had arranged early check-in with reception which is up on the first floor. There is a small lift (one person and a suitcase) available. The lady that checked us in was pleasant and explained that the drinks and food in the room were included in the price. This was great for us as it meant we could have something to eat for breakfast as our train was due to leave before the breakfast hours of the accommodation. The room was spotless and the bathroom was too. There was a nice shower and then a toilet, bidet and sink. Walking in to the room was a desk and the fridge before turning into the room itself. The location is great very walkable to the main sites and places to eat and very close to the train station.

It isn’t a complaint, just something to bear in mind with an old building which is the entrance door to the bathroom is quite narrow.

Hotel located in the historical center. Well located. Close to everything. We were at the Junior Suite with terrace - top floor. The room has multiple levels (steps separate the spacious bedroom, lounge - with another TV, bathroom and kitchen nook). Lift available to top floor. Friendly reception. They offered a map and tips where to go for sites, restaurants, best ice cream (all are good!). Kitchen had espresso coffee machine, juice and snacks available for breakfast.

The street where the hotel is located looks a bit dodgy but, like all the big places in Italy, just be mindful with your stuff.

Fantastic location, nice and clean, well equiped kitchen, good wifi and fantastic staff who were very helpful. Quick walk into the main part of town, we enjoyed our stay, a lot!

We booked an apartment and we thought that it had a washing machine but it didn’t. It’s ok because there was a laundromat 5 min walk away

The room was spotless and lovely and cool. There was minimal fuss or noise and the location of the property xpuld not have been better. The bus station/train station amd a carrefour supermarket here within a 5/10 minute walk. The Duomo square was 10-15 mins the other way and everywhere was easy to find.

They were digging up the road outside of the apartment and it stunk. Thankfully not inside of our appointment tho, just outside and in the hallway. Obviously, this is no fault of the hotels.

The front desk can store luggage, which is very convenient. It is also very close to the central station. The apartment is well-equipped and very comfortable to live in.

If staying longer, you will need to restock the toilet paper and trash bags at the front desk. However, since the front desk is only open from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, the travel schedule might be limited. We stayed four days, but only had one trash bag and two rolls of toilet paper.

Enjoyed the facilities here, had crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils as well as cooktop and microwave. Each morning a basket of goodies was refilled, it had an amazing variety of cakes, tarts, dry biscuits,condiments and juice.Very unexpected but absolutely appreciated. Bed was large and very comfy. Location was good, easy walking to most attractions and close to station. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

Heating was for whole floor and some people in other rooms turned it up of a night making it very warm. Bathroom door did not close properly, guess it’s an old building so these things happen. Area around station seemed a little dodgy at times, not the accommodations fault but just a warning.

Location is perfect, lively and in centre. Just 5 min walk from sm novella station . Appartment was very clean and spacious (enough for 4 adults) with all essential requirements in the house. Lady at the desk (sorry I forgot her name) was very helpful and sweet. Elevator was the cherry on the cake.
