Clean and well appointed spacious room. Pleasant and helpful staff, nice breakfast. Very central location with, restaurant, bars and taxi rank within striking distance.

Unfortunately due to its central location a full nights sleep was not possible. Most nights I was woken by vehicles cleaning the streets & emptying the recycling point at 3am and some form of disturbance from the floor above. Groups of people singing and shouting in the square in the early hours. A city view room comes with its draw backs!!

The hotel is near to the main train station. The room is very clean. And the air conditioning is cold enough to cool us down since it was very hot. The hotel is at the best location i would say. Its close to most of the tourist spots / historical sites. Even the shopping centre . Restaurants and cafes within short walk. Also pharmacy too. Everthing was so easy to access plus i have a baby with me so it was really helpful. Above all the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They actively ensured all our needs were met with a smile and showed genuine concern for our comfort. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. To one of the reception staff Julia, thank you for all the recommendations and help youve given to us. Keep up the good work and that smile.

Excellent Location along an expansive piazza de novellue. Walking distance from Duomo and all all other attractions. large well appointed rooms. Very curteous staff, specially Luca, who stayed up after midnight to check us in as our flight was delayed from London. The hotel has a quaint and very classic old world Italian charm. The decor and furniture in rooms is very art deco. Our rooms overlooked the Piazza which was very nice. A car park, convenience store and laundary are within 2 minutes walking. It felt like 19th century Agatha Christie hotel stay !

The air conditioners were perhaps not cooling enough. There were no tea/ cofee provided, but was made available immediately on asking. Less counter and luggage space as found in modern hotel rooms.

The location is incredible--near the train station but in one of the most beautiful piazze in the city, so you did not think you were near the bustle of the station. I had a room that overlooked the stunning facade of the church of Santa Maria Novella. The room on the extremely hot days I was there was well air-conditioned, and the windows were such that there was virtually no sound from outside. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Eleonore (I hope I remember her name correctly), who gave me great tips for restaurants in Florence and even, as I was leaving, for places to visit in Rome.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just 9-10 minutes walk from the train station. We stayed in their apartment that was actually in the building two buildings away from the main hotel. The apartment was really nice, safe, good airconditioning. good beds, Nice view of the square from the balcony. All of the front desk staff from various ethnicities were truly helpful and forthcoming to help the guests in all possible ways. I give 10/10 points for the staff at the front desk. I wanted to extend my stay but the hotel was fully booked.

The central location of the property was awesome. It was within walking distance to the train station, the David museum, shopping and top restaurants. The rooms were comfortable. The hotel is old but that added to the charm

We made arrangements for transfer from the train station to the hotel before the trip. Since it was our first time in Florence and Italy we were quite ignorant of the proximity of things. The train station was just a short walk and the hotel charged us $140 for a 1 way transfer. A better customer service experience would have been to tell us that the hotel is within walking distance to the train station and then ask us if we still needed the transfer. That would have been helpful and my score would have been a 10

I recently stayed at Hotel Roma in Florence, and it exceeded all my expectations. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, blending modern comforts with classic Florentine charm. Overall, my experience at Hotel Roma was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and central place to stay in Florence. I can’t wait to return!

Excellent location, staff, and breakfast. The place is right in one of the main squares in the city and is surrounded by shops of pretty much any kind, including a laundromat.

For a family of four, the room was a little to warm. The front desk promptly gave us couple fans as they couldn't help us with adjusting the thermostat as it is all centrally controlled. Another option was opening windows but since this place is in one of the main squares, it is quite noisy and mosquitos get in as well, depending on the season.

The hotel delivers on comfort, a very good room for a well-deserved rest after hours of walking, and is conveniently positioned a short walk away from the train station and main city attractions. For regular travelers like myself, who are a bit more relaxed and forgiving of the little details because "Things happen," you'll find a property that meets expectations for the price; it is not a luxury hotel, so don't expect it just because it has 4 stars; it's an old building like pretty much all of Florence that has been reworked over the years, yet you still find remnants of the years the building has and might find unacceptable for a 4-star hotel you're used to; personally, I find it an immersive experience. A solid 8 out of 10 in my opinion, I would definitely stay in it again.

The air condition could use an upgrade. I visited during the spring, and the temperatures in the city were a pleasant 19 C/66 F. The room was at 24 C/75 F. I tried to cool it down, but it took a long time. I can't imagine waiting so long in the hot summer months to feel the room cool.
