The bedroom was very modernly furnished and the bathroom was modern and clean. The bed was comfortable. The host was helpful. The air conditioning was just at the right level.

There was one English breakfast tea bag and 2 sachets of milk powder. Ideally there should have been at least 4 black teabags and 4 sachets of milk powder for a British couple staying one night. Other tea bags were green tea, fruit tea and camomile which is great if you like that sort of thing. Just a minor thing. It was in a nice residential district south of the river Arno.

The location is great on the south side of the Arno River in Florence. The hotel was very clean and well designed. The staff was very welcoming and quick to respond to any inquiries prior to our stay and during the stay as well. We even sent a couple of packages to the property a few days before we arrived and they were kind to hold them for us. There are many good restaurants and cafes nearby. The Duomo and many other tourist destinations are within a 10-15 minute walk. We also had an issue with the shower drain that was fixed immediately which was very nice.

Our room was facing the street and can be quite noisy at night because of live music from bars and people outside drinking until the early morning. If you need absolute silence like me then I recommend contacting the property to request a quieter room away from the street.

The location was amazing. We paid to have river view and that was really great. Roxxy and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The room had tall ceiling and was very spacious. The lobby and hallway was clean and the light out there was beautiful.

The mattress dipped which meant that it was either too soft or is getting old. The room was a bit too dark. The unit is wired for a chandelier. It might be helpful to have more light in the room. We could hear sirens and people closing doors and hallway conversations. We used the noise cancellation and that was helpful.

The location is great in the Oltrarno/San Frediano side. Walking distance to most of the sights with lots of bars/restaurants round the corner. The staff were very helpful and always ready to answer queries. The room I selected was lovely and there was Prosecco offered for New Year’s in the room.

Though it is clearly mentioned in the description, I missed the facility of a dining area/kitchenette as I have a 7 year old and it’s sometimes nice to just grab a bite in the hotel itself.

I wish our room was a bit higher, because we stayed at the zero floor and it was too dark, we slept way too much :). The only window we had was to a super tiny courtyard with a huge vase

I traveled solo and felt completely safe at this hotel. The hotel is located in a big wood door on the 3rd floor. Small elevator or stairs to get to it. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I loved my room location and staff helped with suitcase up minor set of stairs to my room. I loved my room and view! Room also had a full body mirror which was helpful. Cafe right outside of main entrance and store around the corner. Location is perfect- not far but away from crowds and walk able to everything.

Drain in shower needs Drain-O, so it drains better.

We had a lovely view from our room. Hotel was quiet with no noise from other guests or the street. Good location, 15 minute walk from everywhere. Friendly staff at reception. Fridge and kettle in the room and waters topped up everyday. Good shower and air con.

Room was smaller than we had expected. No breakfast and seems expensive for room only.

We liked the location, the friendliness of the reception, the garage valet service they propose (which made our life easier), the size and beauty of the room, the coffee and drinks, the quality of the service: we felt spoiled. We would definitely come back and recommend. Besides this part of town is so much better than the very touristy zones.

Friendly and helpful staff - many thanks; clean room with spacious bathroom and closet space, only that there is no curtain/division between the small couch for child and the big bed - unlike what some photos show - and not enough privacy.

too close to some bars and the windows are old-style without triple noise-reduction glasses/design. People were so loud drinking, talking and shouting on Friday night till around 3:30am on Sat; my child and I could not sleep till 4am and it was really bad experience.

All staff was super friendly and ready to help. For new arrivals, it is good to know that they are not there 24/7 and they are to be found outside on the bells (last floor). We got one of the expensiver rooms with a wonderful view of the river and old city centre. It was worth it to have a big suite with extra room to work in, bathroom with tub and a very large bed. The pictures on booking.com show it. It has a nice ambiance, It is in the not so overcrowded part of the city centre, with many bars, restaurants even in the same street. No sound from around disturbed because it faced the other side. The next door cafe is a nice recommendation to start the day, but also the cafe/bar at the corner has very good coffee and is (was) not packed with tourists. The restaurant accross the street is always full of (tourists) but has a super mix of very tasty pizzas, fish / seafood or meat dishes, and pasta. There is also a piazza around the corner and a big one two streets away. Both have nice options, too, for lunch and dinner. There might be the one or the other a little more expensive and not so good, but the ambiance was not so Disneyland-style like around the sights on the other river-side. Still, there are even there many hidden gems and it is worth to stroll around and not to take the first option. The hotel has a perfect location to explore Florence.

Only the mattrass should be changed sooner than later because it is not even anymore.
