Quirky old building in a very central location. Secure behind a huge door and gates. Our room was adequate and the beds were comfortable. We had a lovely view over the garden. The room had a very high ceiling and it was nicely decorated. The room was very quiet. The staff were very helpful. Roxy was lovely and very welcoming.

Very tiny lift to get to reception but as we were on the ground floor we didn’t need to use it often. It seemed very expensive for a simple twin bed room but I guess that’s Florence!

Breakfast not applicable. Great Oltrano location, and view of hills behind Florence. Easy access to Bridge and central part of city. Crossing the bridges to start and stop the day was wonderful. Gelato on the corner! Staff was great. Elevator essential. Great building, beautiful room. Tasty in room coffee. Stored luggage on last day of exploring (Pitti Palace and Bobboli gardens) before walking to train station.

Noisy bar next door on Thursday and Friday ...had to close windows. Leaky heat pump/ac in the room...turned off in attempt to minimize wall damage. Would be nice to be able to access the garden.

Staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. The room was clean with a comfy bed and was very quiet. Location was good, on the quieter side of the river, with plenty of places to eat in the area and a lovely park nearby that we visited a couple of times. We were given lots of recommendations with a map which was useful.

The shower was OK and useable, but the water pressure/unit could have been a bit better. Some instructions on how to initially enter the building to check in would be useful, but we were fortune that someone was leaving as we arrived and the host was prompt in replying to messages.

Amazing staff, always kind and extremely attentive. Was able to hold my luggage before my flight out. The room was extremely spacious, the bathroom was excellent, and the bed was comfy. Amazing location, away from the massive crowds but still in the city centre.

We loved the location of this property, just over the bridge and near so much! The staff, specifically Roxie, was very helpful! She arranged taxis for us and recommended time schedules! The elevator was also a plus!

There is a lively wine bar scene very close and it can get loud if you stay in the front of the residence! We actually found this to be fun, but it might not be good if you have an early wake up time.

We just loved our stay here! Very quiet room on the ground floor, everything was very clean. Staff very nice and helpful. We will be back 🙂

It was quite hard to figure out how to get into the building and finding the reception so better read that conformation email 😀

Amazing location in a characterful old building - easily walkable to the centre of town and on a quiet street with lots of little shops and bars. The rooms were quiet and clean. The bathroom could maybe do with some TLC but absolutely fine. The staff were super-helpful. We found a great place for breakfast just round the corner.

The lift is very small so arriving/leaving with luggage takes a while, but a minor complaint.

Loved this property . Wonderful location , in a quieter residential area with within walking distance to many attractions . Beautiful building , wonderful staff and a super comfortable bed .

A bit confusing getting in to it when we arrived. Shame no breakfast included especially as it wasn’t cheap, though I suppose Florence is expensive, and there was a fridge and kettle etc

It was very nice. Big rooms, nice paintings on the ceiling. Close to nice bars and restaurants. Close to the old town. Very friendly concierges.

In February it was a bit cold in the room. heating could have been better.
