I really recommend this place. It's close to the city center and has many buses nearby so one can either walk or get on a bus to the historical center. There are many shops and bars/restaurants nearby too. The hosts- Patrizia and Nicola - are lovely and really made the effort to make us feel like home. They are super helpful and friendly! The accomodation is really nice, small but totally enough for 2 people who came for sightseeing. We were provided with everything we needed in the room. Breakfasts were also amazing. Overall really recommend!

A due passi al centro is a superb place to stay. Everything was excellent. As a guest I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the hosts. The room was spacious and - the bathroom was luxurious. The breakfast was very good! The location is nice. The bus connection to the railway station (Genova P. Za Principe) is good, and you can also easily walk to most places in the city centre and the older parts. I really enjoyed my three days in Genova.

I liked everything!

Extraoridinary place with a very nice and unique atmosphere, clean, spacious and within few bus stops from the center and all the main attractions. Above all - lovely and very helpful hosts that made us feel very welcome. We were looking forward every morning to our breakfast that was delicious. Definitely recommand🙂!

A small fridge in the room would have been a huge asset to the apartment. Box didn't just cut it with my beers. Very nice of Nicola to leave me one of his cold ones.

It really was a pleasant experience, the hosts were really kind, they answered every question we had and suggested programs we should do what we should visit etc. The room was very clean and convenient. The breakfast was delicious and made us full all day long.

There was nothing we didn't like

Spacious peaceful room away from mass tourism 20 minutes walk up the hill from Brignole Station (also easily accessible by bus). Nicola our excellent host not only provided a great breakfast but also gave us fine insights into Genoa life and history.

Nicola(the host) patiently waited for us as we arrived really late due to some issues with our transportation. They were also flexible regarding the breakfast time, gave some information about the city and the nearby attractions.

Everything ! the place, breakfast and surprising food attentions in our room…the welcome, Patricia, Nicola and their daughter are very nice! They waited us till our arriving. We had a big delay with French strikes and arrived at 4am … so a big thanks for their patience and hospitality, very appreciated :-)

This ensuite private double room in a private apartment on the second floor was magical. The Italian hosts whent out of their way to make us feel welcome and helped with our every need and answered all our questions. Accommodation is located in one of Genova's up-hill neighbourhoods, about a 20-30 minute walk to/from the historic city centre. Close to the apartment/guesthouse are stone steps that take one down to a nice piazza (square) that has a nice cafe, an inexpensive restaurant and also a minimarket. Bus stops for the centre are also at the small square. The second floor apartment is reachable by stairs or lift/elevator. The room had a large comfy double bed with extra pillows, duvet, and sheets. towels are provided. A fantastic buvet style breakfast is included in the price. Breakfast includes tea-coffee, yogots, cold milk, butter, several jams, two different types of bread, croissants and fruit. Also small chocolate eggs on ocasion. The ensuite bathroom is large with good shower, toilet and bidet, sink with soap provided. hand sanatiser is provided in room. Room has desk, flat screen TV. Plug sockets near bed. There is free WiFi with fairly good speed. Wood definitely stay again. Amazing hosts, so kind.

There was some confusion over the name and password of the WiFi and this took some time to fix.

Everything was perfect, the owners are polite. Location is perfect, near the bus station that leads to city centre.
