Room was simple and clean. The location of Hotel Fiume worked very well for us. We had easy access to the city center and the Brignole train station which allowed us to hop on a train or bus with ease to meet up with family. We were close to Piazza Colombo and Via San Vincenzo where there are plenty of bar/cafes, restaurants, and plenty of places to get some excellent focaccia!!! One of my favorite cafes is Gabsy off of Piazza Colombo where I would get an excellent cappuccino!!!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Located just across the way from one of Genoa's main train stations with connections to just about everywhere else in Italy, Genova-Brignole. Also near several bus lines in the same area and right around the corner from Via Settembre, a shopping avenue. Piazza de Ferrari, with its massive water fountain, is about a 20 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is refreshing, fun and colorful. I loved the option to play around with lighting in the room. The room was just the right size (for me) and had good amenities. It was clean and well stocked. Wifi was good, just cut off sometimes depending where in the room you were. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I loved my stay and would do so again if ever I come back to Genoa.

There was a weird smell that permeated throughout the hotel that was similar to the smell of vomit. I found the toilet seat in my room very uncomfortable to sit on, even for just a minute; I don't know why. Those were the only 2 things I didn't like.

Very friendly staff in the lobby and ready to help for any questions! The room was very clean and comfortable! And the location is great since all touristic attractions including the port can be reached by foot.. approximately 15 minutes walking to the city center

If you are traveling by car, you need to be aware that parking is really expensive. We had to pay 24€ for one night at the closest parking lot of the hotel (Piazza della Vittoria)

The hotel had just been finished to a high standard. The rooms were impeccable, and the bathroom / shower room was big enough for an adult and 2 teenagers. Sky sports in the room meant that we could take a few hours to ourselves, watch the football, and take a break from walking around the beautiful city. The owners helped us locate all the amazing sights and really couldn't do enough for us All in all, it's a fantastic stay and was a welcomed break from walking around the amazing city.

Our stay at Hotel Fiume was great, we would rate it as at least 3 star hotel (even though it has only 2). The reception staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was squeaky clean and modern, the bathroom squeaky clean as well and very spacious. Even the mini-bar was rich and cheap. Very close to the Genova Brignole station (very helpful) and also having a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. 100% recommend.

Everything was perfect. Room is small and cute but bathroom is very big, you have all you need, small fridge, ac, tv, bathroom with all necessary equipment. There is safe and closed parking available for additional 12 EUR per day and instructions given can’t be more clear. Staff was very friendly especially blonde girl at the reception. Location is also very good. We would like to come back!

Really cool looking retro style, slick, crisp and clean! The staff was pleasant and helpful! I had one of the smaller rooms but it was still very much worth it. Location was five minutes walk from the city center. I had a good stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

In my room the windows were blinded so that there was little sunlight. But no use hanging around in the hotel room in such a nice city anyway.

The room was very clean. The mood lights with selectable colour were a nice touch. A good variety of snacks and drinks in the minibar with decent prices. Overall a clean and comfortable place.

Our room had a strong smell of smoke, which is most likely due to the previous guests. I don't know if you can do anything about it besides ventilating the room (which has been done).

Wonderful hotel right near the train station. They kindly gave us a wonderful suggestion for dinner nearby and a map and walking tour information for the morning. I wish we could have stayed in beautify Genoa longer, but am glad we got to experience this lovely hotel and see a bit of the wonderful city! Thanks for your kindness.

Car park wasn’t next to the hotel, and it wasn’t easy to find a space nearby because the hotel is located in a very central street. However, they gave us the possibility to park in their car park, not far away, for 12€ per day. Not a major inconvenient.
