The room was clean and tidy, the location was only 10 minutes walking from the station, nearby market had everything you could need, also a supermarket 5 mins walk away. We could also walk to the harbour in Genoa, through beautiful piazzas. We took a short train ride to Sturla, then walked to Spiaggia di Vernazzola, which was a beautiful beach with swimming. Also easy to do a trip to Portofino and back while staying at Hotel Suisse. We arrived later than planned but the lovely friendly lady stayed to welcome us and to check in. It felt safe and secure. Communication was good! Shared bathroom was not a problem, it was always clean and not busy. Great value for money, thank you for a good stay in Genoa!

It is near the center and very clean, the staff knows not a lot of English but everything was alright! She was very nice! If someone is thinking about this place and does not know if it is worth it because if shared bathroom, it was so clean and smelled so nice. Very well kept!

Well the walls are kinda thin, so we heard somebody snoring but it was okay for a short stay!

Somewhat of a surprise as I expected a 'hotel' not an apartment with many rooms. Having said that it was very nice. We arrived before the 15:00 check-in to find it closed. Fair enough, check-in was at 3. The very nice and professional receptionist arride precisely at 3. Check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean and comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly - we didn't come to Genoa to spend time in the room. The on-suite bathroom was small but functional. The shower stall was very small, granted I'm a big guy. I chose to shower in the shared bathroom and everything worked out well at the end. Getting to the third floor "hotel" is a challenge with it's minute elevator that only fits two people and a small suitcase. If you have a backpack on you, you better enter the lift in reverse because you won't be able to turn around. All part of the adventure. And, yes, I'd stay there again.

the location was excellent. the palace was wonderful, old fashion. the staff was very nice.

maybe just the fact that they provide some water, chips and other food of this sort with vending machines but the prices were too high (eg. bottle of water 4 euros)

A great location in Genoa and room 7 had a balcony overlooking the rear. We arrived early and the lady on reception was lovely allowing us to access the room before check in as it was ready earlier than we expected. There’s a communal lounge to enjoy too with a vending machine. Perfect for our one night stay in Genoa.

Everything was perfect, the lady on the reception was a star, such an amazing person, so helpful, she helps us with an iron, to call a taxi, always lovely. Also the location couldn't be better. Close to the train station and the centre at the same time.

Nothing to say

Location is wonderful - on the main street, close to the city center, railway station and bus to the beach. Building is old, but truly beautiful, as well as the hotel itself. The interior design was really great and the room was super cozy. There was shower in the room, as well as common bathroom in the hall. Staff was super nice and helpful at all times! The wifi was working well. Everything was perfect! :)

Very good price and the shared bathroom felt very clean and fresh! The location was perfect, close to the train station and the center.

The room was not very soundproofed.

The hotel is positioned at the center, so that makes it very easy to explore the city center. The room and bathroom were very clean. The Wi-Fi connection was also very good and the staff was very friendly.

The window insulation is not so good, so you could hear noises from the street during the night.

The location is great, near the train station to santa Margherita and Portofino. Daniela was very friendly and kind. Mattres and pillows are better than in the ship that we were making a cruise.

The bathroom is not very good; it needs to be repaired.
