Somewhat of a surprise as I expected a 'hotel' not an apartment with many rooms. Having said that it was very nice. We arrived before the 15:00 check-in to find it closed. Fair enough, check-in was at 3. The very nice and professional receptionist arride precisely at 3. Check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean and comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly - we didn't come to Genoa to spend time in the room. The on-suite bathroom was small but functional. The shower stall was very small, granted I'm a big guy. I chose to shower in the shared bathroom and everything worked out well at the end. Getting to the third floor "hotel" is a challenge with it's minute elevator that only fits two people and a small suitcase. If you have a backpack on you, you better enter the lift in reverse because you won't be able to turn around. All part of the adventure. And, yes, I'd stay there again.

A great location in Genoa and room 7 had a balcony overlooking the rear. We arrived early and the lady on reception was lovely allowing us to access the room before check in as it was ready earlier than we expected. There’s a communal lounge to enjoy too with a vending machine. Perfect for our one night stay in Genoa.

Everything was perfect, the lady on the reception was a star, such an amazing person, so helpful, she helps us with an iron, to call a taxi, always lovely. Also the location couldn't be better. Close to the train station and the centre at the same time.

Location is wonderful - on the main street, close to the city center, railway station and bus to the beach. Building is old, but truly beautiful, as well as the hotel itself. The interior design was really great and the room was super cozy. There was shower in the room, as well as common bathroom in the hall. Staff was super nice and helpful at all times! The wifi was working well. Everything was perfect! :)

The hotel is positioned at the center, so that makes it very easy to explore the city center. The room and bathroom were very clean. The Wi-Fi connection was also very good and the staff was very friendly.

The window insulation is not so good, so you could hear noises from the street during the night.

Very good price and the shared bathroom felt very clean and fresh! The location was perfect, close to the train station and the center.

The staff is super ! So attentive and kind, nice and warm, I thank them once again ! The room is fine, a little cold during the day, but fine and warm in the evenings and nights.Bed is comfy, plenty of extra pillows and blankets, clean and smelling good. The elevator is a plus, slow, old, but reliable. The location is in the heart of everything, easy to walk where you want. The atmosphere is cosy, warm, homie ( the women's hand) ;)

We had seen a lot of big rats on the streets, and not in a few places,but that didn't envolve the hotel, but the city.

The location is great, near the train station to santa Margherita and Portofino. Daniela was very friendly and kind. Mattres and pillows are better than in the ship that we were making a cruise.

The bathroom is not very good; it needs to be repaired.

The location was absolutely perfect. We stayed in room #4 which had a balcony with an amazing view. The staff spoke English and was very helpful. Yes the bathroom was very small and pretty loud when water was in use, but the building is very old with a lot of character so they had to integrate the bathrooms into each room which comes at a cost. Also, we did not have any issues with noise as we used earplugs to sleep. Honestly, for the price, it was a very nice stay.

This was for a one night stopover, and met our expectations and needs. About 10 minutes walk from Station Brignole, and 20 minutes from the old port. It's in a building above a busy shopping street, but it was generally quiet and our sleep was not disturbed. Room was small and basic, but met our needs for our one night. We were able to drop our bags off before checkin which we appreciated, and reception were very helpful at meeting our needs and informative as to what to do in Genova.
