Excellent hotel. Everything in the room is new. The room is spacious. Very polite and nice staff. Simple but high quality and inexpensive breakfast. The room is completely quiet, despite the fact that the windows face a busy street. The hotel is located in a beautiful old building, it is very interesting to visit inside such a building. The old elevator is a separate delight!! The hotel has a discount for praking close by. But we ourselves found public inexpensive parking near the hotel. We were glad we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights.

not quickly found the door to the hotel. It didn't take long to realize that the check-in was on a different floor.

Clean and spacious room in a lovely old building with an old fashioned lift which added to the overall charm. The included breakfast was adequate with lovely service. If you’re a light sleeper then ask for a room that doesn’t face the main road. There are multiple bus stops close by and the train station is a 10 minute walk which also has a larger bus depot. We would definitely stay here again and loved the quirky charm - check in is on the 1st floor.

The space to access the shower is tight due to the placement of the sink.

Very fresh and modern room. Central location Located on 5th floor of old and charming building with excellent layout for breakfast. Staff very friendly (albeit receptionist was from separate hotel within building) breakfast staff couldn't do enough for us Plus was the heated towel rail

Some say they didn't like the elevator but it's old and quirky and part of authentic design Rooms were very small and like many others repeatedly banged shin on the bed

Quirky stay in a historical building off the main road in the centre of Genova. Vintage lift up to your floor, rooms behind a separate door on the floor, for communal dining. Room met expectations, shower had good pressure and temeperature, faces away from the main road so you're able to have windows open without roar of traffic. Pictures are deceiving. An unexpected bonus of breakfast (free) - make sure you have the focaccia - and later check out (than listed).

Amazing location right in the centre of riva. Could hear live music in the evening (but not too late!). Easy parking nearby. Decent breakfast spread. Staff were polite & helpful.

Be aware lake view might mean a small amount of the harbour not necessarily out over the lake! Still a lovely view though. Parking isn't on site but is easy to find and only 5 mins walk.

In the city center just around the corner of via settembre, which is the main touristy area in genova. The room was clean, spacious and nice view of the streets that made us wanna be on the move and get the day started. The reception guy was lovely and accommodated our every needs.

Nothing i didn’t like apart from the lift that was scary, it reminded me of something from see no evil.

The air conditioning is quite noisy and because of it’s placement ,above the bed ,it is difficult to use it all night .

The area of the apartment has been renovated recently, so it feels fresh. The checkin was smooth and the service during breakfast very nice.

I got out of the building during the night, and couldnt find a way to get back in, since they lock the building. Luckily someone ordered food an open the door while I was waiting outside trying to figure out how to get in. This part needs clarification from the host.

Riva Superior was in a great location, surrounded by stores and markets. It’s a 5 to 10 minute walked to Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari. A 20-minute walk to Genova Brignole train station and 20-minute car ride from the hotel to the Genova airport. A normal Italian breakfast were served in the morning. Hotel staffs was very friendly and helpful in everything that we asked or required. The room itself was a good size for two people, with a refrigerator, AC, and good size bathroom. The room and bed were clean everyday. There is a 24-hour concierge to let you into the building during after business hours which I found a little annoying. Overall, the hotel was in a great location and the room was great for our two days stayed in Genova.

That you have to be let in after business hours. If the last person using the elevator did not shut the door all the way, it would not operate. You would have to take the stairs. Our room was on the 4th floor.

The perfect location. Right in the center of Genova, splendid view (the town is a living museum) of Via XX Settembre, close to everything you might need and want. The staff was so nice and friendly, everything is sparkling clean. At the 5th floor of an amazing old building the rooms are modern and perfectly functional. The breakfast was as expected, we found (among other things to eat) the perfect cappuccino and the perfect croissants. Don't expect the all inclusive tipe, but you have there almost everything one might need for starting a good day.

I usually eat vegetables (and not fruits as it was) at breakfast, but it is a matter of taste and missing it did not ruin my morning.
