Located in a nice historical building, and with elevator. Very soft, big and high quality towels. Very comfy bed. AC in the room. And quiet although located at one of the main streets. Bonus for those who want to shop, the hotel is located on the main shopping street. Many restaurants available near by. We could leave the luggage to visit the city and come later for check in.

I filtered by parking to search for hotels in Genova and this showed up, but they do not have parking. We were lucky to find a parking near by, on the bridge, that was only 3 min away. No mosquito net and we had one in the room that kept us awake.

The heritage side of the building, including the elevator!! Our room had a lovely balcony and great views. New bathrooms. Lovely breakfast area including great breakfast. Super friendly staff.

The hotel is located on the 3rd floor. It is noteworthy that the elevator can only accomodate 2 people at any time. I would have preferred that more of the interior, including furnishing, would have reflected the heritage character of the building, or a more sensible old/new combination.The lighting in the room was horrible, too little and too cold (change of lightbulbs to warm white, give some accent lights with free standing lamps and ensure they are all in working order)

Location, room,.breakfast and the building and of course the delightful Mattia. The hotel is very chic , great location, very central, accessible to public transport and areas of interest. The daily breakfast was amazing. Mattia is a delight and very accommodating. He is a hard working guy and always happy to help. Value for money definitely. Room and bed and cleanliness spot on. The location was excellent, close to the train station and all the sites. It is a very safe location to stay in and a wonderful historic building. The staff were so sweet and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Would stay again.

The only thing to say was that you could hear the people (or probably children) running around upstairs from us. That being said, it was not after hours or too early in the morning, but it is an old building and family-friendly. We liked seeing people's pets. 🥰

The hotell is very well positioned, nearing the restaurants, market, shops and at 10 minutes walking distance to piazza de ferrari. The breakfast is ok, they served in two rounds and taking into account that most of the outside shops/ restaurants open after 10 am. The rooms were clean and the stuff was nice.

There was noise from the neighboring rooms and the footsteps of those upstairs could also be heard quite loudly.

I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, I would get up early to walk and would have breakfast in various coffee places so I cannot comment on that one. The location is perfect, lots of option with bus line passing on the Main Street, front desk called me a taxi to return to the train station on my last day. Otherwise walking around was best. Plenty of boutique to check on each side of the main avenue but you can as well use side streets to get a better idea of how locals live.

The information on Booking.com was not clear, the check in is done on the 3rd floor but the hotel rooms are on the 4th floor. Depending what time of the day you arrive, the main entrance door may or may not be fully open. Normally the n arrival you buzz the exterior enter phone indication Liberty Hotel but if there is no answers like it was the case when myself and another person arrived, it is good to know where to go. Adding extra information never hurt.

Perfect location. Perfect breakfast (thank you Mateo) for his perfect scramble eggs, delicious! Very central to town centre. Walking distance to the marina and also cafes, restaurants and lots of shops with brand names. Also, across the road, there is a classy restaurant "Zeffirino", it is worth the visit. The historic elevator, at least 100 years old (max 2 people) is a pleasure to operate.

The hotel is in the core of the city center on the third and fourth floor of the old residential building. The room was very nice and everything was perfectly clean. The guy from the reception was very helpful, we came late in the evening, he helped us the luggage and he ordered us a pizza because at that time nothing was working nearby and we were very hungry.

It was a bit challenging to reach the hotel by car, as it is in the core city center. We needed to park further away and walk to the hotel with the luggage. Breakfast was ok but limited choices.

I'd stayed in the hotel before, was quite happy with my choice, so I knew what to expect. Location is excellent, most importantly. The hotel is not luxurious, but quite satisfactory. The room is clean and pleasant. Most importantly, the service at the reception and overall interaction with the staff was excellent; professional yet friendly and pleasant.

I wish a bottle of water was added per day in the room.

Perfect location for everything. Was a beautiful old building that maintained the character but modernised where required. Staff so helpful and gave great advice where to visit. Brilliant breakfast. Hard to believe it is a 3 star not 4?

Would have been nice to have coffee making in the room but as a 3 star was not expected, easy enough to buy and breakfast was brilliant
