The room was great - large, modern, good sized ensuite with a good range of facilities including smart TV, air-conditioning, secure safebox, hairdryer and a balcony. It was in a really convenient location - about a 5-min walk to Genoa Brignole train station and about a 10 minute walk to the main city centre sightseeing spots. They even provided a leaflet with their tourist & restaurant recommendations which was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly and helpful at the reception desk, spoke very good English.

It was quite difficult to find initially, especially as it was right by a building covered in scaffolding. But it was signposted which helped me locate it.

Nice little budget hotel in the heart of the town. The man on the reception desk was very friendly and helpful with directions and even gave me a bottle of Cola after a tough days travel. The room was compact but functional, very quiet overnight, however in the morning there’s a busy college opposite but it’s fine.

It’s a budget hotel so any complaints would be just nitpicking

Hotel Nologo is an excellent choice for travelers who want to stay in the heart of Genova. The location is perfect, only a 10-minute walk from Genova Brignole railway station and close to all the shops and restaurants you could ever need. We stayed at Hotel Nologo for 4 nights and although the room was on the smaller side, it was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and we were able to get a good night's sleep every night. The staff at the hotel was fantastic - they were always available to help us with anything we needed, and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast served at the hotel was simple, good, and it was the perfect way to start our day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Hotel Nologo and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Genova. The location, cleanliness, and friendly staff make it a great choice for any traveler!

Location is amazing! Everything you need to see is in a walking distance. It is also in the pedestrian area where restaurants, bakeries, gelaterias and bars can be found. For a short stay it is a perfect choice: it is clean, very well located and the breakfast was quite decent. The only thing missing for a longer then 2-3 days stay, for me, is the room size and the lack of storing space

Very comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and great location close to Brignole station and the main high street in Genova. We had a very large and comfortable bed (2 singles put together) and we really enjoyed the fun music themed rooms (ours was reggae!). Though we didn’t get chance to try it out, the hotel had a jacuzzi on the terrace and communal area for you to spend time with your friends/other travellers which is a great bonus. All in all a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay in the heart of Genova!

A few small maintenance issues. The building seems to be having work done to it, so our balcony had scaffolding and piles of floor tiles. This didn’t affect us as we didn’t really use the balcony, but not ideal if you wanted to spend the evenings sat on the balcony, or unsafe if you have children. I’d contact the property to ensure this building work has completed when you choose to stay. Our front door lock was a little stiff too but other than that everything was up to the standards we expected!

The greatest advantage of staying in this hotel is the staff. This is not the opinion based only on the last stay (I have selected this place several times already). People there are really kind, emphatic and professional. There is no any problem to communicate in english (although they usually speak in couple of foreign languages).

The hotel is quite big as for this localization so usually is hosts big organized groups of young people who can be really noisy at nights xD... Although obviously the hotel staff is not guilty at this point. I mention this just because I think this can be usefull information for ones travelling for business purposes (who have to wake up early xD). But anyway people at the reception are interventing immediately whenever the above situation takes place!

It´s a very welcoming place in the city centre only 6 minutes from central train station. Standard of rooms is according to the price okay. All clean and bed is big. Still, the walls are a bit thin. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the coffee in the morning is senseational good. I would come again

Handy for the train station and not too far from the city centre. There was a nice cafe next door and lots of local shops and other places to eat. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel provided a good value breakfast, a nice start to the day. We liked the music themed decor

The room was bit small. There was no bar at the hotel.

We booked for easy late check-in and possibility to leave our bags after check-out. And all was perfect. Short walk from Genuja Brignole train station, easy to find, since there is huge sign on hotel building. Staff were very helpful and attentive. No problem to get extra duvet if needed. Comfortable bed. We didn't experience any major noise.

We had such a warm welcome when we arrived, it was really refreshing. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and we’re super helpful. We left our cases before check in which was really useful so we could have a walk round with them giving us some great tips. Great price,great place. Would definitely recommend it

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It’s not a luxury hotel, it’s fairly basic but clean and comfortable with everything you need in a lovely part of town close to the centre, and our room had a balcony which was great. Really no complaints.
