Hotel is about two minutes by foot from Train Station Brignole (same name as hotel), but in nice, quiet street, without any problems with hotel environment/surroundings. Metro station is also beside the Train Station, so - no problem with transportation. Hotel is very nice, with big room, nice and comfort bathroom, TV, fridge, safe, everything you may need. Staff was very friendly, ready to help and even to chat a little. Near the hotel there are many places, restaurants where you can it, like in Via Cesarea. Probably need about 20-30 minutes by foot from hotel to center of the city (Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari) or to the Port. Genova is extremely nice city (but also big industrial city with huge port), and with beautiful viewpoints that can be reached by unusual elevators or funiculars. Also, Genova is good jumping point for Savona, Sanremo, Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo, and - of course - Cinque Terre. Great place to visit.

During my stay in hotel, there was some local construction works, which will be, I hope, finished very soon (or maybe are already finished). There was no other problems.

Location near the train station is great. It's also right near a pedestrian areas with small shops. The room was large and had a view of the train station. Very high ceilings. 24 hour desk - all with very polite gentlemen. When I reported the internet out in our area at 6 am, the guy immediately did a check and fixed it. Very impressive! Very helpful with travel advice and storing our bags. I really enjoyed the guys working there. Excellent value.

No elevator. We were on the equivalent of the 4th floor in terms of US terminology. It's a full 20+ minute walk to the port, and the main bit of the pedestrian street just up from the port. So we ended up doing a lot of walking. No breakfast option - but there are some shops on the pedestrian road a few blocks away.

The hotel was incredibly well located for Brignole station. Room was available slightly before checkin and the process was easy. Very friendly man on reception with good English. Room was very clean, though the decor is dated. Wifi effective. Lots of shopping and restaurants right on the doorstep.

Bathroom was very compact, so a little difficult to negotiate with clothes, towels, toilet bag etc. Not enough space for 2 people at once brushing teeth! Some street noise (understandable for location and a Saturday night stay) and noise from upstairs (particularly toilet flushing / plumbing). Earplugs would sort that easily enough.

Clean hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was adequate with reasonable choice of food and drinks. Very good shower in the room and bed was comfortable. Some nice restaurants near by. 5 mins walk from metro and Brignole station. About 35 mins walk from Genoa Principe Station but could also get the bus.

We liked everything!

The gentlemen in the reception were very kind and friendly. They answered all my questions and they were very helpful. Everything was very good. The hotel totally met my expectations. The location is brilliant, literally across the Genoa Brignole train station, which is very convenient if you will travel around Genoa (like me).

Friendly and helpful staff. Cozy room. Cleanliness above all. I really liked the building where the hotel is located. And of course the location. I get lost very easily, but there are many good places next to this hotel, it was not difficult to find it at all.

The personnel were very kind. The location is excellent. It's a very good choice.

There is no option for breakfast inside the hotel. You get a good recommendation for a very nice bistro located just around the corner, but they only have Italian breakfast (coffee and pastries, focaccia etc.). If you want continental or English breakfast it's going to be difficult to find a good option. Even at MC Donald's they have only coffee and croissants. If you don't mind this aspect, then it is a very good option to consider.

Non-stop reception is perfect for the late check-in and you do not need to specify arrival time. Air-condition was working fine. Hotel is at the central location. Check-out until 11:00. Very nice keys from the room. Everything was clean.

The hotel itself does not have parking, but there is a paid parking relatively close to the hotel.

Great hotel near main train station, very quiet with nice personal. Older man on reception was really great and helpful with stuff. The room was quiet and comfortable with a nice big bathroom. Cleaning service was also great. I really recommended this place!

Extremely clean, pleasant room cutely decorated. The location was really great with bus and metro all super close so very easy to get around. It was also surrounded by nice places to eat and explore, and just a short walk to the old town and other attractions. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The bed was too hard for my tatse and a little bit too short.
