Good location inside the old city (which is the must-see) but 2 minutes walk (crossing the street) to the port promenade and to the parking that has an agreement with the hotel. I recommend to use that parking so close to the hotel. It is expensive, 50 euros a day but if you are lodged in the hotel, they charge you 24 euros instead (with a voucher they give you at the reception). For one night is convenient, a bunk bed for our two kids and a good bed for the adults. The breakfast is a strong point as it only costs 6 euros per person and it was a good continental breakfast and you could ask for cappucinos if you did not like the standard filter coffee (the messroom was full of families with kids having breakfast).

The price is maybe not cheap but you pay the location which compensates if you are going to stay one or two nights (the old city is worth-seeing and it can be visited in one day).

The breakfast was good, simple with a variety of options, but very tasty. The waiters were very gentle and professional. The receptionists were also very helping in giving directions and suggesting places to go. The rooms were always very clean.

Not a lot of food options for breakfast. Also the location of the hotel is just so and so. I don't feel kind of safe in the area, but there are a lot of tourist so it also means is not very much dangerous of an area.

Very nice hotel with comfortable but small rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast is excellent. I was traveling on my own and had trouble finding the hotel tucked away in a narrow street but you wont find a better location near the old port for the price. With elevator access, my small room was dominated by a too-large bed but was comfortable and had all the amenities I wanted. I would stay here again and I recommend it without reservation.

We were looking for a hotel in the center of the old town and that is what we found. Easy walking distance to the historic harbor and the old town. It is a very good hotel in the heart of the historic district and with Genoa that makes space very tight. With the limitations they have done a great job. Breakfast good, crowded but good and the the breakfast staff did a great job., Good restaurants, groceries, and historic sites were withing easy walking.

The hotel is a 10min walk from the Genoa Piazza Princippe train station and is located very near the harbour shopping area, the Aquarium attraction and it is very close to eateries and Carrefour Express. It also has friendly and helpful staff in all departments. The room was clean and housekeeping was prompt and professional. They also had a daily affordable buffet set up. I think it was 4euro. It has a lift within the building. Toilet was small but looked new and had basic toiletries, except toothbrush, paste, shaver etc. Its good value for money Just a train ride away from must visit Portofino. Or a ferry ride away.. Ultimately, good value for money Best Western branded hotel.

The personal, breakfast, place etc. - perfect. I felt there very well. I really recommend to people who would like feel the Genova spirit.

The room is small. The only problem was a place to work as I had to work sometimes on my computer in the room and the "desk" was also the air-conditioning outlet. So my computer was well cooled, but it was not much comfortable for me.

Perfect location near the historic center. Large room with all comfort. Perfect and silent air conditioning (important!). Practical bathroom with good shower. Breakfast buffet pretty good to Italian standards.

Be aware that you can not reach the hotel by car. Closest parking is at the quay (walking distance).

Convenient location but difficult access. Room was clean and had balcony, shower with good water pressure and they kept our bags securely after check out so we could walk around town.

Room was small and one daughter indicated bunk bed was uncomfortable. Air conditioning limited cooling settings. At our check in, electronic room key system inoperable throughout hotel, so after 13 hour flight and 3 hour drive, we had to wait 30-40 min before getting into our room at 8 pm. Parking is in underground deck across street from hotel and bags had to be taken from underground garage across street.

The Staff, The Food, The Room, Were All AWESOME!! The Staff Helped Us With Lost Luggage And The Breakfast Food Was GREAT!! The Location Was GREAT. We Found A New Church, SanFillipo Close By. We LOVED The Church.

My Only Complaint Was That About 11PM And 4AM There Were NOISES Outside From Rowdy People And SUPPLY Truck Delivering Supplies.

Great location, situated in the historical center and 10 minute waling distance from the pleasant Porto Antico area or from the main train station. The breakfast was excellent with coffee and cappuccino prepared on the spot served by very kind waiters. The room was functional with all the necessary amenities, such as a kettle with coffees and teas.
