The hotel is in a great location very convenient to visit Genova. For the reviews complaining about the people around the hotel don’t mind them, you are visiting a large port city so yes there are people of different races hanging outside it is not dangerous,The walk from the Main Street to the hotel entrance is 50m And they have 24h staff at the front desk. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean and have air conditioning and fans. The front desk is kind and helpful. If you are looking for a good budget accommodation this one is great.

I did find the bed in our room (#12) a little small, for one night it wasn’t a big a deal but for two people it was a bit tight compared to other hotel doubles we’ve stayed in.

The hotel was clean and the interior/decoration is modern and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The AC worked fine in room #2, but was slightly high set (not possible to adjust from the room). The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. Extra pillows were available. Breakfast (very good price) and parking via partners worked perfectly.

The breakfast focaccieria offers no gluten free options and no yoghurt, only coffee, juice, and bread (really good bread). There was no coffee in the room. A bit noisy from the streets outside, also the neighborhood is a bit rough.

But due to the fact that several flights were canceled or delayed, I never reached my destination, which made me cancel my reservation at this location... so I have no idea what the location is like, and I'm still hoping and waiting to get my money back for that reservation annulled

Well. Before we leave, my wife has read some comments about bad neighbourhood, etc etc. They were some young guys offering marijuana etc, but they were friendly, no is no, nobody offended is. In al Genoa, you'll find such things, what you expect from a big port city. Hotel. Really nothing to complain about. Big nice room, clean, bathroom was new, we were really enjoying. WiFi was perfect, very fast. Great location, really few steps from streets with shops, cafeteria, restaurants etc. Next time if we'll be in Genova, we will definitely stay in this hotel :)

First i booked that hotel very quickly, on the way to hotel late evening. After booking and payng i saw very bad reviews and felt a little confused but i took a risk. Room was clean, no ants and bugs.Bed was very very comfortable and i like 2 pillows in bed. We had window in the room but ofcourse no normal view, because there are very narrow streets.

Location was in old town, there are very narrow streets and probably many people feel scared. Anyway, i saw some people who wanted sell us some drugs, no violence. i dont recommend this place to families.

The hotel is situated just in the heart (really heart!!!) of old Genova. All the main sightseeings are in couple of minutes walkable distance. You can leave and come back to the hotel using a new pass every day! There was a labyrinth of ancient narrow streets so you can feel like the medieval citizen. The personnel is really helpful and friendly. They were always ready to help and and give a piece of advise about everything. For example, I got a tip from one of them about free beach inside Genova and the fastest way to get there (For those who are interested: it is the very beginning of Corso d'Italia, take bus No 20 from Piazza di Ferrari)))))). There were no breakfasts in the hotel but for me personally it was ok. The room was clean and it was cleaned daily. The frige was in the lobby.

Two things I didn't like. 1st - no air conditioner in the room (at least my didn't have, may be others do). When you stay in summer the temperatures run rather high and after staying outdoors you want some cool air in the room where you sleep. But there was a fan-stand. And 2nd thing derives from the 1st one - the windows should have stayed open all the time and much noise comes from the outside, especially it is unpleasant late at night and veeery early in the morning (sounds come from garbage truck). But it was only in the room which faced the front door. And one more thing, for me it was ok, but for somebody it may be essential: you can not get to the door of the hotel by car or by taxi - the steet is really narrow.

Great staff, Great room, Friendly staff couldn’t ask for much more, kept clean.

The area is okay after a 50m walk, if they could deal with the people directly out the front of the hotel it would be perfect.
